They were incredibly welcoming over the phone and assured us they were still happy to serve us, which immediately set the tone for a great experience. From the moment we arrived, the service was friendly and attentive. We never felt rushed, even though it was later in the evening, and the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. The food was delicious, and after a long day, it was exactly what we were hoping for. It's refreshing to find a restaurant that still values hospitality at the end of the night. I came here because multiple friends swore I'd see chickens running around the property. I did not see a single chicken. At this point I'm starting to wonder if the chickens are real or if I've been the victim of an elaborate prank. Fortunately, the food more than made up for my poultry disappointment. We ordered a couple different wing flavors, including the Honey Mustard and a blueberry-based sauce, and both were excellent. The wings themselves were massive, meaty, and cooked really well. The Honey Mustard had a nice balance of sweetness and tanginess with just enough mustard bite to keep it from feeling overly sweet. The blueberry flavor was surprisingly good too. It had a sweet-tart fruitiness that sounds unusual on paper but worked really well with the smoky, savory wings. Both sauces had plenty of flavor without completely overpowering the chicken. The atmosphere is classic neighborhood pub. Cozy, casual, and the kind of place where people seem comfortable settling in for the whole evening. Downstairs there's a bar and shuffleboard area that definitely attracts a younger crowd. It gets pretty lively and noisy, which adds to the fun if you're there with friends. My only real complaint is that parts of the place felt a little messy. The stairs leading downstairs were sticky, and parts of the basement floor were too. Nothing that ruined the experience, but it was noticeable. The staff, however, were fantastic. Fast, friendly, and personable. Even when things were busy, they kept everything moving and made us feel welcome. Overall, it's a fun spot with great wings, good energy, and a laid-back crowd. Still giving it four stars because I left without seeing a single chicken, and I feel mildly betrayed. We have been seeing a billboard sign for this place on our way into Philly visiting family. On our way home after one of our visits we decided to make a detour and give it a try. We ordered our wings with the sauce on the side. I think that's the way to go so the wings stay crispy. They have a lot of wing sauce options. We also ordered the Cheese Steak Egg Rolls and Cheese Balls as appetizers. Both were pretty good. There is a large parking lot and we even saw some chickens roaming around. Came here for the wings. First timers. Saw the seat yourself. We did so, but as first timers, it would have been nice to still be greeted. We took a table to the left. The TV had QVC on it - asked for it to be changed. The guests before us must have spilled their drink on the floor. The straw and lemon were under my feet along with the wet puddle. I didn't want my jacket or purse to get wet. We started with the mini cheese panzarotti's came with side of marinara. This cheese inside was so good. Ordered tots for the table, so hot and crispy. Hit the spot!! We also got two orders of wings. Honey and the buffalo garlic parm. Didn't read reviews or look at pictures. They don't cut the flats, and that's my favorite wing. For a place who supposedly has the best wings around the service is terrible. We had four different waitresses ( which isn't necessarily a problem) and none of them could communicate with each other or us. It took over twenty minutes to get drinks. And even then we were told different things. First waitress told us you can't get beers from downstairs and then the next waitress tells us you can. We asked for forks from three different people and only one brought them back. Nobody had any idea what beers were on tap. It was also incredibly warm. The wings are delicious and worth the trip. ( but the wrong sauces were brought) Pulled pork nachos are great. Cheesesteak egg rolls are ok. And the desserts are very tasty. It's that time again, time to eat chicken wings. Service remains OK with the occasional difficulty due to the high noise level inside. It remains beat up indoors. There is a TV for every possible viewing angle but you can't hear them due to the dull roar of the sound system blasting out golden oldies. You can't hear your companions but I was forcibly eavesdropping on the next table over. Not a great conversational setting. As usual we ordered wings. Plain fried wings. That's what these guys are known for and deviating is its own punishment. The sauce has changed and not for the better. All of the sauces - mild, med, had a layer of oil an inch thick. The oil wasn't hot just oily. Things improved dramatically when I poured off the oil layer and I could actually dip the wing in the buffalo sauce. Once cleaned up, the sauce wasn't bad. But who ever came up with this new sauce deserves to be marinated in it until the struggling stops. I suggested folks should just show up with a bottle of Franks buffalo wings sauce and there wasn't a peep of disagreement. Finally we ordered every one of the sauces and got one that didn't have the oily layer. Finally. The wings themselves were fried really crispy. Very nice. You have to order the celery sticks separately. The beer selection was unappealing and I settled for a Diet Coke instead. Try to show up for happy hour. So I'm going to be transparent. I love chicken wings. They need to be generous, well sauced, hot, and most of all have a nice meaty texture and crispiness. If you have never been there, you have to make the journey to the jughandle Inn in Cinnaminson. I am a chef and I know food. Decided to come for dinner last night as my boyfriend wanted to try their wings. Got there around 6:30. No problem being seated. Our waitress was great! We enjoyed some cold beers. Got a chance to check out the Jug Handle with my buddies Eric and Aaron. I've heard many people have many different opinions of this spot so I knew I had to go and find out for myself. Got some Carolina Buffalo BBQ wings, some Tony Bruno wings, and a side of the Bald Eagle (their spiciest sauce) sauce on the side to dip into. Our server was very friendly and attentive. The dining room was pretty much just a basic bar/restaurant dining room but they do have outdoor seating during nice weather and a basement seating area as well. The Tony Bruno wings are a blend of Honey BBQ and Medium garlic so they are very similar to a Mchales/Buffacue sauce with some added garlic flavor. I knew I'd enjoy this sauce just from the description. The wings were massive and they were breaded wings. They were crunchy for breaded wings (I often find breaded wings to get soggy in sauce and not have much crunch) and I enjoyed these, but I will say that I do honestly prefer a smaller wing...even if that sounds crazy. Smaller wings in my opinion are able to have a nice crunch in each bite and the center of the wing cooks to a nicer consistency than when they are very large. The Carolina Buffalo BBQ was interesting and not exactly what I expected. I did find these to have good flavor but I was kind of expecting a Carolina mustard and hot sauce blend and it was more of a BBQ/buffalo which made it similar in flavor minus the honey to the Tony Bruno. They looked as though they'd have a mustard flavor but it got lost in the other flavors of this sauce. I don't think I personally would get this flavor again just for that reason, but I didn't dislike them. The Bald Eagle is hot. There's really all there is to that. It smelled like straight super hots and it tasted like super hots. That is where my time with the Bald Eagle starts and ends haha. Met up with friends at the Jughandle Inn -- first time back since my 20s, and it's pretty much how I remembered it. We went on a Friday night and it was packed with loud music and that classic "town bar" vibe, even though it's off on the outskirts by a major NJ highway. We ordered two sets of wings (garlic parmesan and honey hot), and they were fantastic -- big, meaty, full of flavor, and they leave the tips on. A little pricey but worth it. Good beer selection too, with local brews alongside classics like Miller Lite and Coors Light. I also tried the Italian chicken sandwich, loaded with diced chicken, spinach, and melted cheese on a toasted roll. You can choose chips or upgrade to fries or tots. The sweet potato fries with honey (or honey hot) dip were excellent. Only downside: you aren't assigned a dedicated server, so we found ourselves getting overlooked at times when trying to order drinks or get refills. Anyway, when I went to pick up the food I was told the cost and while it sounded a bit high I took their word for it and paid. I signed the receipt which just had a total on it and no breakdown of prices. When I was given the bag of food I noticed the actual receipt was taped to the bag. Stopped by today for an early lunch and sat at the bar and ordered a very nice cheesesteak wrap. Came with some crispy pickles and hand cut potato chips. I ordered some Nashville Hot Wings to go. If you want awesome wings, you gotta try this place. The wings are huge with lots of meat. They are breaded and topped with the toppings of your choice. I had garlic Parmesan. In my opinion they are not too garlicky. However, they are pretty oily. There several options of the toppings for the wings. If you want to have varieties of flavor you need to order several orders of 10 wings. The food is served as if you are ordering for takeout. The waitress gave us several paper containers for the bones and wet wipes because eating the wings are messy. I recommend sitting outdoor when the weather is beautiful. Used to be a favorite. The last 3 times their service had been terrible. Sat at my table with my daughter near the wait station at the bar and waited for 3-4 minutes for the waitresses to bring menus. (They were busy with their phones, instagram or such showing each other videos) it was not terribly busy and there were 4 waitresses floating around. Used to be really good burgers, it wasn't terrible but the bun was as big as the burger and on the stale side. I ordered pickles with the burger, generally a staple for a burger. I received 3 pickle chips (really 3) when the check came I was charged $2, I did complain and was refunded, but geez $2 for a pickle that should have come with the burger? Finally a waitress came over after my cocktail was gone for some time, I ordered a glass of water she poured it and let it sit for another 3-4 minutes while the bartender made a drink for the next table over, (again social media came first) My table was literally 3 steps. It's a shame, I am not sure what happened but will be heading out to Shamong. (The Pic or One more bar.) A little difficult to find the entrance to turn to but a large parking lot so we didn't have issues finding a spot. We did come here on a Wednesday night though. This a pretty large establishment, inside, a large outdoor area and a downstairs area. Although I didn't see it, my cousin mentioned there are pool tables somewhere. There is also outside seating in the front. They're pretty well known for their wings, I ordered a small Garlic with a medium sauce [which I found out to be vinegar based and it was not spicy]. Lots of garlic flavor though and minced garlic so I enjoyed it. The Tony Bruno is probably the best flavored one which is. Honey BBQ and Garlic Sauce. My mom got the Bald Esgle which was a Habanero sauce. She mentioned that it wasn't really spicy and the sauce was kind of sour. Large wings though and a good crisp on the skin. Service was alright and it was pretty loud inside. Would come back for the Tony Bruno wings for sure. We also ordered some Fried Mushrooms. The batter was well done as it was crispy and stayed on but biting into it, I felt it lacking a little flavor and the Mushroom was really moist as to where the texture was a little strange with the crispy batter. read more

I had heard a lot about this joint from my Jersey friends, but this was my first experience and it was delightful. I'll be back in June for a Celebration of Life event. Should be a large turnout so I a assuming we will be outside in the Gazebo bar which offers plenty of shade in warm weather. So we were there on Easter Monday around 2pm. The place was hopping. Sports on the TV's and all the seats at the bar were filled. A few open tables, but they too were filling up fast. I just love the signs on the restrooms.
