Tried their Japanese white bread..shokupan. Really enjoying it. Also, like their cardamom roll morning bun, plain croissant , banana date bread, slice and other pastries I've tried. It's amazing that they are open seven days a week and you can order on the Internet and pick up a couple of days later .I definitely recommend. I believe on Fridays they sell pizza and you could reserve probably have to do on Wednesday!

I decided to stop by this bakery to pick up lunch since I was going into work late today. I asked about ordering a whole cake and she said this was done easily online and just give them 48 hours to prepare. They have a sale on day-old bread for 20% off, as well as fresh pastries, cakes, cookies, and other treats. Most breads and baguettes are made with a sourdough base. There's a large working kitchen off to the side and back. There are no restrooms in the bakery. The bakery is kind of tucked away in a secluded strip mall with a large private parking lot. Angelica says there is a farmers market here every Sunday and every weekend, a coffee cart is brought into the bakery so that you can enjoy hot drinks with your pastries. There are a few small patio tables in front of the store if you'd like to sit and enjoy your treats. I mentioned I needed something for lunch and Angelica recommended the ham and cheese pastry. I chose that and she asked if I'd like it heated. I took my pastry warmed up to go and also picked up an individual coffee cake and a four- pack of gourmet salt topped chocolate chip cookies for hubs, and a cheese danish for me for later. Angelica says the cheese danish is a very popular item here. I was very tempted to get the vanilla almond pastry as Angelica described the huckleberry sauce used. I'll have to come back next time to try that. There is a refrigerated grab and go case by the door with cake slices and cold beverages. I had such a pleasant first visit here. I found a spot near work to enjoy my ham and cheese pastry and oh my goodness, it was melt-in-your-mouth delicious with paper-thin, flaky, glazed pastry sheets, covered in melted cheese and rosemary, and stuffed with warmed diced ham slices. Nom nommm.

The two shops are joint and definitely scream luxe in every way. A super modern and beautiful space with all the designer puns and cute offerings from trinkets, to clothes, house goods and of course ice cream bars. They offer chocolate ice cream, vanilla ice cream, cheesecake or a banana for dipping. You can build your own or select one of their speciality bars - both coming in around $9. I opted for the Neverfull of nuts. A vanilla ice cream base, dipped in chocolate, rolled with peanuts, a Reese's and Nutella drizzle. It was very good and definitely enjoyed during the beautiful sunny day in Old Town. The service was great, friendly, quick and helpful with suggestions. My grandparents who were visiting from out of town, loved it. Overall, it was a delicious treat, beautiful store and hit the spot. I do feel the price point is a tad steep and they didn't have any children of small offerings, but I suppose that goes hand in hand with the luxe vibe. I would definitely return, but also a few other local spots that equally hit the mark.

They really did nice renovations! You can either build your own bar or get one of their recommended combos. My husband and I each got our own. We definitely could've shared, but we wanted to try different things! I did a custom bar with chocolate ice cream, chocolate cake, and peanut butter drizzle. You can get two toppings and a drizzle, but I'm glad I just got the chocolate cake. It was AMAZING. I loved everything about it. My husband got the March Madness feature, which was a combo of Oreos and Andes mints with whipped cream and chocolate sauce. You can choose chocolate or vanilla ice cream - he chose chocolate. It was exactly what he wanted. The staff were so friendly and patient with everyone in front of us who took awhile to decide. The shop is pristinely clean as well! The bars are a little pricey, but the quality is there and fairly justifies the hefty price tag.
