First things first. There are many old reviews on here that apply to the previous management. Cinos should be revisited with Anthony now in charge. The bagels are always fresh and service is friendly and personal. As for prices I find them comparable to others. When you order a sandwich here you get a pickle and side salad. It was a small local bagel shop that locals enjoyed in Bethpage for their morning coffee and breakfast to go. Its always been a clean fresh place with friendly help. Glad to see them growing into a bigger place. Self serve coffee and tea is always a big plus.. many flavors out. Like their French vanilla.. Worst experience of my life! The food arrived a half an hr late after already being told the delivery time would be 1 hr for 2 egg sandwiches. Then when the food finally gets here it's cold my boyfriends sandwich was destroyed with everything falling out and i asked for my eggs scrambled and they came well done. Cino's has a great location for anyone "on the go" on Long Island; you're simply always in the neighborhood. With that being said I'm not exactly sure why Cino's can't quite get it's act together. The reviews below on this page tend to really focus in on how wonderful and friendly the owner is (great news!) but this a review about the establishment. I'll admit I've only been here for bagels and egg sandwiches... but I've "accidentally" been overcharged multiple times. Once the gentleman claims he was new and didn't know the prices, the other the young lady just opened the drawer and handed me $2 back no questions asked and another was a giant debate involving multiple employees about how the egg special ad on the window was exactly what I ordered and should be rung up for. (I literally ordered "two egg specials from the window ad" I'm really not sure how much more clear that could be). Lastly my most recent visit is what prompted me to write this, let's go back to the two egg sandwich specials I ordered. Yup, they took a total of 14 minutes from when I ordered to receive them. Nope, it wasn't busy there was one egg sandwich order up when I placed mine. That gentleman waited a few minutes then left, a few other patrons came in and out but no one ordered anything from the grill. I saw the grill guy back there walking around, checking his phone, doing his own thing. At one point I asked if everything was ok (I'd have no issues if I was told he was taking a break or something) but c'mon, seriously, almost 15 minutes for the egg specials you have advertised on your window?! That should be a no brainer to serve up. Their front end help also went to the restroom twice in this time span as well and made zero effort to conceal texting or whatever else they were doing on their phone as I stood there waiting. Honestly I have to wonder why they downsized from that large space they had across the street? Doesn't seem like many patrons are coming in anymore (not hard to see why) so maybe this is the writing on the wall for this place as well. Order took over an hour to prepare for a simple sandwich/ bagel/ croissant. Also ordered a side of fruit which came with MOLD. Bagels are a staple here on Long Island and finding a spot that is good and consistent is critical. Cinos is pretty close to my house, about the same distance to Calvert manor bagels on Hicksville road. We have been there a handful of times now and I'm starting to like their bagels just as much as Calvert manor and they never have a line out the door like Calvert...this may be our new bagel spot. read more

Within 10 minutes of being there the woman behind the counter wiped her nose with her hand twice, was scratching her arm and her ear and only wore one glove. Never washed her hands and was not pleasant by any means. That is beyond unsanitary. Maybe they should consider hiring new people. This is a friendly bagel store on Hicksville Road. It has decent bagels with a good selection of other items and spreads. The coffee is self serve which I don't like but it was warm and good tasting. We go here a lot after today never again. While waiting for my bagels the owner who was sitting down eating a bagel gets goes to the counter says hello then takes the butter knife (spoon) puts some onto his half eaten bagel puts the knife back how freakin disgusting and unsanitary is that I was so shocked I didn't know what to say. Over a year later, I'm driving through town, and I figured I would stop here. I called and asked for two fried eggs on a roll, turkey, cheese, ketchup. The old lady repeated my order. I went to go pick it up, and again the food was CRAP. There was no ketchup, there was ONE piece of turkey, and they must use small sized eggs because I can't even see two eggs on the sandwich. Went into this bagel store for the first time since they remodeled. The old store was good but very limited. I was truly impressed with the changes and new additions. Went in for a dozen bagels and left with my bagels, a cheese cake and a cookie tray for company I was having. Been coming to Cino's for years-old location and now the new one. Seems that most of the negative reviews are around cleanliness. Simple solution: one person does the bagels and another handles the money. Most other bagel stores and deli's do it this way. They should visit the competition to see how it's done. My Husband went here on Sept 15th ( Saturday) to get a few bagels, He went there at 6:45 am and he said they had no salt bagels and there were only 2 cinnamon and raisin bagels left. So he brought home a everything and sesame seed bagel. Well they were as fresh as they should have been that early in the morning. Its closest bagel shop to my home but drive by past it to go to other bagel shop farther down road. For some reason other local bagel shops make better bagels. I've been to this local bagel store several times. Everytime there seems to be a problem. The biggest problem is, they constantly run out of bagels. WHAT??? your a bagel store, aren't you? We've been going to Cino's for years. The owner Joe is a really good guy who hires local kids and adults to work for him. He is a strong supporter of the community and always donates to the schools when asked. And, of course, his bagels are to die for!! Huge variety, always fresh and always with a smile. The new store is bright, spacious and spotless. They have wonderful choices of bagels, pastries, salads and drinks. I especially love their fresh iced coffee. I'm a Jewish girl who grew up in Queens, so I'm fairly particular about my bagels and their accompaniments. Cino's gets a huge thumbs up from me and my family. Great place. read more
