2 eggs and fresh country potatoes along with Italian bread
    Omar Z.

Cool diner with tons of memories and memorabilia. You want a quick breakfast that is filling and cheap then come by and don't expect a complicated menu. It's a simple menu and not too much can be changed with a small menu. I had the eggs and pancakes along with the country potatoes. Everything was great and if you want jalapeños you are out of luck but they do have Cholula sauce to spice you up. They still have a menu from the 1960's which is pretty crazy. Parking is limited and they only take cash and so please take that into account before stepping inside. The staff was very friendly and the coffee was diner coffee and great for a 3 degree Celsius morning.

This is my kind of place! Rustic simple menu!! Rustic!

My kind of place. Western on a plate. Great Italian toast. Pancakes were incredible. Don't be in a hurry here. That's a good thing! Very entertaining. Lots of locals!!

We were in town doing touristy things, and wanted to get a nice breakfast before we left. This place had good reviews, was a small local business, and seemed like some good eats. Prices were also very fair and the staff seemed pretty nice when we sat down. I think the owner was working the flattop , someone was waiting/bussing the tables/ topping off the coffee, and someone else was doing the dishes. Food is great. The eggs were cooked perfectly over-easy, the home fries as specified from other reviews were great (whole potatoes just chopped up on the flattop and some butter over top). Sausage was more fatty and a little different that I'm used to, but it was pretty good. Toast was great, lots of butter , and so was the French toast. In total we had: The number #1 (chose sausage) The French toast An OJ (out of a plastic bottle) A Bottle of water (out of a plastic bottle) Prices were unknown on the OJ and Water. In total, the owner walked over and seemed pretty nice, asked us if we liked our meals , and said it'll be $21. Now if I calculate correctly: The number 1 : $6.50 The French Toast : $6.50 Orange Juice : ?? Bottle of water : ?? Tax: 13% Total was $21? The table next to us had a larger order and he asked for $20. We met this white couple in our hotel on the elevator, then saw them at the restaurant - arriving the same time , order an omelette ($8) , a French toast ($6.50), a side of sausage, 2 cups of coffee, and an orange juice. The only difference was that the couple was white , and we were not... I'm going to give some benefit of the doubt here, and I'm also going to assume he included gratuity already, which I probably would have left a larger tip than a total of $21.... Also, he gave me less change.. I gave $40, he gave me $18 instead of $19. After reading other reviews, I have a feeling it was because we were Asian... because the other group were also tourists, but white. I'll leave this review as 4 stars, since it seemed a little fishy at the end there. In reading others reviews, maybe they should write a receipt so people don't feel like it's an arbitrary number (and more if you're a tourist or if you're not white)

Now this is a breakfast place! This is where the locals go people! They know you'll get a great breakfast meal at a very reasonable price. Cippy, the owner cooks the food right in front of you and does it perfectly. As it turns out, he went to the same school I did, Notre Dame. Our French Toast, eggs, bacon, and home fries were all amazing! With two coffees it was only $22. The bacon is thick cut and the toast is made from Italian bread from Portage Bakery, just down the road. The coffee is a bit too mild tasting for me, but still good. Inside it's old school diner style, with only half a dozen tables, so be prepared to wait outside for a table. Payment is cash only.

Looking for breakfast options in Niagara gives you various things. In the entertainment downtown district, you can always get Tim Hortons or go to a sit down like Applebee's and Cocos. I personally thought diners and grease spoons are my fav. It's their vibes and culture that are kinda dying out. Walking into this place, cash only with a register that likely doesn't work and a sweaty busy looking owner chef yelling orders and hollering he's 30 mins behind the wait, you can bet this place must be one of a kind. It's no frills and the walls have old memorabilia. Waitress goes around wiping and slapping down coffees and jams on tables. The menu is simple. You only get 5-6 options- there's the breakfast platters with potatoes, meat, eggs and toast. Their pancakes are truly massive and fluffy. You won't be disappointed. Their sausages are some of the best sausages I've had. None of that beef bumpy skinny things. Good potatoes and eggs are over and easy. Can be a wait bc he's popular but come before 9:30 am and you won't be waiting much hopefully and can beat the crowd!

This place does not live up to the hype it gets on Yelp. The place is dingy and small, but not in a charming rustic kind of way. The food was... fine, for the price. The runners were quick to offer refills on the coffee, but it was more like brown hot water than coffee. I asked for over medium eggs and they were completely runny inside without any hint of browning to the whites. The bacon/sausages were swimming in grease and I suspect there was more margarine in the toast than bread. Aside from the subpar food, I'm a little wary of their hygiene practices. My first coffee cup had red lipstick stains on the rim. I watched the dishwasher mash a towel (sponge?) with Palmolive on a plate, briefly wave it around under water, and then set it aside presumably to dry; I really hope they do a second rinse or something in the back. They also don't wear any gloves when they wash the dishes, which I found really bizarre. Wouldn't the water be hot enough to scald? Or the cleaning solution abrasive to their hands? They don't give receipts and I wish I knew what I was paying for because the bill didn't seem to totally add up, which was a very strange note to end my visit on. The only reason I wouldn't rate this place lower is that the fare is decently priced by 2023 standards for being so close to the falls and the runners are incredibly sweet when they're available, but I absolutely won't be hankering for a return visit the next time I'm in the area.

    What an efficient kitchen!

Had the best breakfast ever. Very homie and owner is very genuine. Food is AMAZING! Their pancakes are the fluffiest ever and I don't know how didthey make the scramble eggs that melt in your mouth?!!! Their sausage was something else as well. And their price! How can they survive in this economy! Will definitely go back again when we are in the area!

Great home cooked food. Steve was great for getting us drinks and the people were amazing. Eggs and toast were perfectly cooked and bread, potatoes, and bacon were really tasty. Very small place and expect to wait if it's crowded. It was also great to learn about the people and the local curling team.

    The best homemade breakfast!!!

My family and I were in Niagara Falls Canada at the end of a 15 day road trip through the north eastern part of the US and Canada. We were looking for an old school breakfast place that was off the main road. We found Cippy's!!! This place is a throwback to even before I was a kid in the early 80's. You can feel the history in that place from the moment you walk in the door. The food was outstanding. It was old school one man behind the counter taking orders, cooking and serving. We were happy to find this place because it reminds us about how old school mom and pop places used to be run and how good the quality of food is there. I would definitely recommend this place if you like enjoying the nostalgia of the past and great food.

This is a no frills breakfast place with a very limited menu. One cook. One server (maybe). One dishwasher. Plan on waiting to be served. What you receive will be hot, fresh and delicious!

Found this place through Yelp and we loved it! Foods were great and cheaply priced. The eggs were cooked to perfection, the potatoes were SOOO good and even the toasts were amazing. I think the way he cooked the potatoes were putting a whole potato on the stove and started cutting it up and just cooked it. Seriously, the home fries were dope. Paul, the chef, and Marie, the server, seemed to know everyone. I would be a regular too if I live around the area.

Early afternoon not long before they closed to break and then begin dinner service prep. We were the last brunch patrons of the day. Only critique might be on their ventilation system. It was a bit smoky in the dining area. Most likely coming from the kitchen. No burnt smell, just a bit of haze. Atmosphere was quiet (of course. There were only a few tables eating at that time) and cozy. Decor is very Parisienne. My wife has been to Paris and she recalled cafés just like this one. Stacy was our server. She was very nice and very friendly. Exceptionally knowledgeable about the dishes and the story of the café. There was a sense of pride when she spoke of the café that did not go unnoticed. Food was delivered in good time. What was supposed to be hot was hot & cold, cold. We had: Thalassa (Galette) La Baraka (Crepe) La Complete (Galette) Cappuccino (2) Beer (local, Sleeman Original Lager) Bread with Butter & Strawberry Jam Suffice to say that EVERYTHING was delicious. That's, actually, an understatement. One bite of his La Complete and my brother in law said, "Dude, you gotta taste this!! And he was right..amazing." My dish was the Thalassa, because I adore smoked salmon. It was fresh, bright and it was my first time having caviar. I thought that I would love it and I did. Then, my wife's dish, the sweet La Baraka. O M G! Nothing like it. Sweet but not too sweet and come to find out from Stacy that all the components are made from scratch. The salted butter caramel & the Chantilly. Idk how it's made but I'm going to learn how to make that Chantilly. Soooo good! Also, the Cappuccino here is outstanding. My wife made the mistake of letting me try some. She had to order another! Delectable. The bread, of course, is House-made, as you'd expect. This was the kind of experience I look for, especially, when I travel. I would love to eat here again before we leave in a few days. We'll see.... There are many more experiences to have. MOST DEFINITELY RECOMMEND. 5/5
