So I had a phone crack and I needed a local place due to having to clocking in for work on the phone. I came to this shop because it was close. I knew 300$ was over priced and that I could get it done for half that but I was pressed for time. So when he fixed my phone the light would not turn. He showed me and said, "the light isn't working because you must have done damage to the phone" So, the phone screen was giving me a hard time with closing apps etc. It was like it did not recognise my finger was on the phone. About 2 months later it was actually not allowing me to shut the phone off. So, today i went to a place got a screen for 150$ and suddenly the light works. They are RIPPING PEOPLE OFF!!! They have bogus screens and they are double the price The new company was talking on the phone when I came in to a supplier about how some brands are really inferior. He gave me the screen back when he replaced it with his working screen. I plan to take action. read more

I have used CIR in Downtown LA at least 5 times since I moved to California in 2013. All my friends can attest to my clumsiness and I more often have cracks on my iPhone screen than not. Once I moved to Chino Hills I was so relieved CIR was here. They took care of repairing my iPhone 8 screen at a fair price (cheaper than the cost of using my Verizon insurance) within 35-40 minutes. I love that they back the quality of their work and if you notice any issues they will redo the repair for free. Also they include a screen protector without additional cost. After almost 4 years my battery on my iPhone 6 Plus went out. Apple refused to change it out after waiting 3 months due to apparent water damage. Walked in on a Friday and was attended to instantly. They had batteries on hand and let me know it would be about 20 minutes. Decided to wait and Eddie was great. He ended up throwing in a glass cover for my phone. Battery life did improve over the OEM battery. Ironically a few days later my camera went out. Eddie reached out via text to check up on status and let him know about the camera. He let me know to come on in. Walked in a few days later and staff informed me about recall for faulty cameras via Apple. Apple would only switch out camera with original parts in phone. Came to get my old battery reinstalled to fix this problem as my camera is essential. They offered instead to fix my camera for me. Took 30 minutes and the camera was like new. After an awful experience a couple weeks ago at CPR (Cell Phone Repair) in Anaheim Hills CA, but also a chain with other locations I discovered CIR (Cheap iPhone Repair) in Chino CA with perfect reviews. First of all CIR was $40 cheaper then the other place and that included and OEM replacement screen not a cheap Chinese aftermarket like CPR sells. CIR in Chino does the work right in front of you and never asks for your personal password to you're phone. When they need to check if the screen is working they ask you to input you're password so you need not fear that an employee is going through you're personal phone/information. I cracked my iPhone 6s screen and was ready to buy a new iPhone phone (first world problems) Anyway, insurance coverage at our carrier offered $100 for a screen replacement only and they would need my phone overnight or two. Called C.I.R, requested a quote and made it in time before closing. Not only did they replace my screen, I was given a tempered glass protector on the house and with a check in free case for my phone all for the same price. Super happy with the service! My iphone 6 battery was dying. I went to this place on short notice and Eddie was able to help me. He provided complementary water and snacks. Within 20 minutes, he replaced the battery. He mentioned that the replacement battery is an OEM battery that was pre-tested. They also provide a 6 month warranty and held on to my old battery in case I ever wanted to go back to it. Otherwise, they would eventually recycle responsibly. I also received a free case for my phone. So far it's been about a few days and my phone is working great. This place is awesome! Needed a really quick fix for my iPhone 6s cracked screen and they accepted walk-in's. The staff was very pleasant and patient. They walked me through all the steps of how they were going to fix my phone and made sure I understood how the pricing worked. Afterwards, the invited time to stay in their lobby area that provided chips and cold water as well as a TV to watch movies on. The fixing took about 15 minutes and I was able to connect to wifi on my computer and work on homework. The pricing seems about average. With a 6s, a screen fix cost about $100. I was here about three weeks ago with a cracked iphone screen :( i requested the original screen, got the after market screen didnt think anything of it but definitely noticed the difference. My advice just go with the original! Eddie texted me the following week after the repair to check on the phone. I told him i thought I got the original. He let me pay the difference and I got my screen replaced with the original apple one. Works great now! No lag like the after market one. Their customer service is awesome.
