This was my first time but my friend's hundredth (her words!) There was plenty of parking. We were greeted upon entry and informed that we could choose where we sat and just to scan the table QR code when we were ready to order. We chose a high top and a server brought us water. The vibrant colors and decor gave off excellent vibes. I ordered the Karaage Bowl (on greens instead of rice AND all the sauces on the side) and a side order of seaweed salad. A server brought them to our table. It was not necessary for us to get up once we were seated. Everything was SO GOOD. Like, "I'm mad at myself for not coming here before" good. All of the sauces were amazing too. I ordered them on the side since I wasn't sure how I would like them all, but I think I'll leave them on next time. The "greens" were a mix of lettuce and cabbage. The side of seaweed salad for $2.50 seemed a little small when they brought it out but it was packed in there and was plenty. The server came around a couple of times to check on us and top off our water. We bussed our own trash. There was only one unisex bathroom that I saw. There seemed like a lot of takeout orders going out (it was a little separate from the dining area which was nice). There was also a lovely outdoor area that would be nice if it wasn't 100 degrees. I will definitely be back to try more menu items!

It's located close to the border of Durham and Chapel Hill and just off the interstate (I-40 exit 274, NC 751 - Jordan Lake). It's tucked away and hidden from street view, so you really have to know it's here to find it. The entry and exit points to the parking lot and drive-thru of this Chick-fil-A aren't ideal. They're awkward and unbalanced when it comes to traffic flow. If you've been to this location, you probably know what I mean. The driveway closest to the BP gas station next door works better as an exit than than an entry. This Chick-fil-A has a single drive-thru lane and an indoor playground for kids. During the COVID-19 pandemic, they closed the playground (and on-site dining) and converted the parking lot to accommodate for a makeshift double drive-thru along with curbside pick-up spots. My drive-thru experiences have been fine, for the most part. They messed up my sauce order once (I've had this happen to me at other locations too) and they haven't been consistent about giving me a printed receipt. If you're particular about your sauces, I would confirm with them the sauce portion of your order. The items my wife and I most frequently order are the Spicy Chicken Sandwich ($3.99; she likes to get hers with lettuce and tomato for $0.40 extra), Nuggets ($3.85), Cobb Salad ($7.99) with Avocado Lime Ranch Dressing, and Chicken Biscuit ($2.69). The Sausage, Egg & Cheese Biscuit ($3.09) and Hash Brown Scramble Burrito ($3.95) are good too. I usually order meals to get the Waffle Potato Fries and Hash Browns sides. I believe this location stops serving breakfast at 10:30am on weekdays, but I'd call to confirm. I'm not sure what time they stop serving breakfast on Saturday. My favorite drinks are their half-and-half sweet-and-unsweet tea and vanilla iced coffee. Yum. For sauces, my wife likes to get ketchup, Honey Mustard Sauce, and Polynesian Sauce. I like to get ketchup, mayo, and Polynesian Sauce. Occasionally, I'll get Chick-fil-A Sauce and Barbeque Sauce. This Chick-fil-A location, and most Chick-fil-A locations in general, really haven't let me down yet. Chick-fil-A is one of my favorite fast food brands and, throughout my lifetime, I've probably purchased more meals from Chick-fil-A than any other brand. McDonald's is second. Chick-fil-A is just consistently and reliably good in *both* food and customer service.

When I order a box, I order it plain and then add my own fixings at home. My box creations can make up to three meals. I've begun adding my own fixings to their biscuits too. I'm pleased with Rise's pricing, regular coupon offers for loyalty members, and a reward point system that's easy to track. They've recently sent out coupons in those coupon clipper mailers and I found they carry great value. This Rise location (like their location in Chapel Hill) caters primarily to takeout clients. There are some bar tables and outdoor patio seats if you want to eat on site. I'm a takeout client myself (as I hinted above) and prefer building on top of what I order. Rise's biscuits can't be beat. They are flaky, fluffy, and reheat well. My tips for reheating: - Microwave: Lightly sprinkle water on the open faces of your biscuit (not the hard crust) and cover before microwaving. - Air fryer: Use the "Reheat" setting and reheat your biscuit at 325º for 4-5 minutes.

I think there's a sports ball thing going on somewhere, too. One person ahead of me and I gave the nice lady my order. The tacos came out pretty quickly, followed by the beer, cool and frothy from the tap. As I've mentioned before, there is a nice adult contemporary soundtrack that is neither background or overpowering. It just hits, and you can chat over it if you want. Or sing along. After a nice bike ride, I stopped in and ordered their three shrimp tacos. I've had them before, but they seemed even more amazing than past visits. Were the shrimp larger? Were there more of them? (4 per taco seems about right!) It was such a lot of food (added to the hazy IPA) that I had to take the last one to go. It may last the night. Or it may be breakfast. I think I've had their burger once. I'm such a sucker for grilled shrimp! Hehe. They have sides and apps as well, but I can't even finish the main!

Definitely nothing to complain about tonight. This place is great. And I love their celebration of minds of all kinds.
