In order to redeem a car wash I prepaid prior to my visit, I stopped by a total of 11 times and made 4 phone calls just to inquire the status of the car wash. The employees had been consistently polite and helpful, but were unable to respond with anything but "no, the car wash is down." And there were a variety of ways to turn customers away: "it's down and we've called somebody to come to fix it", "it's fixed but we can't turn it on now", "it was open but it's not completing the cycle so we had to close it again", etc. On my 12th visit I finally finally got into the car wash, but I wish I didn't. After pulling in, I heard the entire machine making all kinds of grinding noise when it moved like it was dragging something with it. Nozzles seemed clogged as water and soap were sprayed intermittently. Soap didn't cover car. Water didn't rinse soap off. Hot air blower didn't blow water off. So eventually I ended up with pulling out of the car wash with water droplets all over and a considerable amount of soap residues. Honestly my vehicle was dirtier than before. And I paid for another car wash somewhere else. The car wash obviously is severely out of shape. The gas station employees are not technicians and certainly can't fix it. Seemingly the owner has already gave up in the car wash. Remember their car wash is the touchless one and that abysmally poorly maintained machine can't wash anything off your car.

Oh, well. Like other Costco with fuel, the gas pumps are located. Unless you have a massive vehicle, you can use the pumps on either side as they have very long hoses that will reach across most cars. Prices here are lower than other gas stations in the area because your fuel is "subsidized" by your Costco membership. When you get to the pump, scan your membership card and then your credit card.
