DELICIOUS! Stopped by for a slice and it was great! The sauce to cheese ratio is good, not a sweet tomato sauce which is a plus for me personally. The pizza was crisp to perfection and the crust was soft and tasty. Searched really long for a good slice and found it at Circle Pizza. Will be a frequent customer now. Of all the places near me this is my favorite. I think it's some of the best pizza for regular slices and Sicilians in the bronx. Now mind you I've never tried other dishes there. Don't want to , I have other places for Italian food. But if I need a slice this is where I go. The worst thing is they had to move around the corner from their original location. Now they have no seating. It's only to go unless you want to stand at a small shelf against the wall. But otherwise the guys there are pretty cool. The delivery guy used to be a professional boxer a long time ago who took a few too many shots to his head. I don't say that in a mean way just that conversations with him are let's say interesting. I needed pizza. I blame my friend for intensifying my craving. He knows who he is and what he's done. Anyway, as I refuse to go to the pizza shop nearest me because of that poisoning event that happened a year ago, I had to venture out and walk. Cut to: Circle Pizza, conveniently located across the street from the 6 train station. Unbeknownst to me, they were closing rather soon, well, according to Yelp hours. I'm not sure if that reflects actual store hours. Inside, it's spacious but looks like a typical no frills pizzeria. That's fine with me. One thing they got going for them: no minimum for cards. Hallelujah! Because I'm basic and cheap, I got two slices with extra cheese. It was $6.50. $6.76 including tax when paying with a card. It's still cheaper than that poisonous pizzeria near me. My pizza was freshly baked. It's a bit on the small side but so good. It's oily. Like perfectly oily and the cheese was gooey. I loved it. This place is horrible. I went there today and ordered 2 lasagnas and a stuffed shells with meatballs. I also ordered garlic bread. After waiting about 20 minutes the man told me he forgot the garlic bread and I had to wait another 10 minutes. I paid 30 for the order then when I get home the stuffed shells were made with chicken. They have great Pizza but don't know how to service long time customers. I have been ordering from Circle Pizza for many years now all of a sudden they only service to Parkchester. They have delivered to Westchester by St. Peters plenty of other times. Now they have a app so you could order on line. You submit your delivery information, you wait till it tells you if they deliver your way and you recieve nothing. So the app continues to take your credit card information. 15 minutes later you recieve a call from the place that they don't deliver. Then its so obvious that they DON'T WANT BUSINESS if they picking and choosing who they cater too. Take your app off online and just take phone call order. Your business attitude SUCKS!!!!! Horrid from beginning to trashing it. Ordered over $30 for delivery Friday night. Ordered a chicken parm with ziti plate, a meatball parm hero, ziti with meat sauce, antipasto and garlic bread with cheese. After 45 minutes waiting, food arrived missing the ziti with meat dish. That took almost an hour to arrive. Everything seemed way too hot no matter when it arrived (microwave?) My niece who was quite hungry for the chicken parm w/ziti ate a few bites, said it was okay and left the rest for the trash. The meatball parm hero was a bad meatloaf wannabe with no flavor. More filler than meat. Sauce and hero bread not great. Half of the hero in the trash. When the ziti with meat sauce arrived, it took a very long time to cool off. Once cool enough to eat, the meat tasted rancid. Out in the trash it went. Please do NOT order the antipasto ever! An iceburg lettuce salad with olives and white onions with some nasty looking pepperoni slices and pizza mozzaerlla slapped on top,. And a sad tiny dressing on the side. If I wanted a green salad with pepperoni and pizza cheese, I would not have ordered an antipasto. In the trash, what a disgrace to antipasto. Garlic bread okay, have had better. That's was edible. Worst Calzone I've ever eaten in New York. Delivery wasn't lat e or anything, but I think even Chef Boyardee could have made something better.
