I chose to stay at this hotel because I had great childhood memories of being here with my parents. Now that I have two children of my own, I wanted to make those type of memories with them. Initially, I had booked the cheapest room. Upon checking in, they have kiosks that you check yourself into and it hands you the keys. The kiosk offered a room upgrade for $30 more so I accepted. The place is very lively and super packed. The parking situation is a nightmare. The spots are so small and you're going around in circles forever hoping someone will leave. We parked in the structure almost at the very top and had to take the elevator back down. The elevator was absolutely repulsive. You can tell that it's never been cleaned since 1968 when they opened. It's supposed to be a smoke free hotel but reaks of cigarettes. Once we found our room, we were hit with a tremendously awful smell. I sprayed my boyfriend's cologne everywhere and even that didn't help. There's no fridge, no microwave, no coffee pot, nothing. The toiletries are a prison bar of soap and a conditioner that's drilled to the wall. The place is ghettoooo. Ladies so drunk their breasts are out and guys so sloppy drunk they're dropping their belongings. I will say that AdventureDome being just downstairs from your room is a really nice touch. There's also a Starbucks, Popeyes, and Pick Up Sticks. They are incredibly inflated though and customer service is terrible so I wouldn't suggest it. They also have a splash pad that looks super fun but it's sooo crowded I didn't even bother. I think the worst part of this stay were the hotel elevators during checkout. It's a huge mob of people all waiting for the same elevator and when it finally arrives, it's too crowded to even go into. There was people shoving each other or cutting each other. We legit waited thirty minutes until we decided to just take the one million flight of stairs. Overall I would not suggest it at all. I paid $273.05 for two nights and I guess you get what you pay for so I think next time I'll spend more money and go elsewhere.

Mr. Ruffin has now decided to bring back vintage Vegas Prices with $2 hot dogs, shrimp cocktails, Heiniken, popcorn and $5 table games! Customers who are value sensitive will love it here. That old tune, "the song that remains the same!" You can come here when you're a child and it's the same dance . Same song ! We are reliving the moment where we all met. When I was a little kid again. The demise of the Circus is coming! Remember when come and spend an extra hour of your day to make this not happen as fast . Vegas is changing and with the birth of new hotels this one is going to come to an end. We went old school Vegas. We played at the last slot machine in Vegas that takes coins . Wow and actually won! Celebrate the past to leave it here and move into the future. The midway upstairs is still fun ! The games are in great condition. You can still loose your self for a time and land on your feet being a kid again. Come and see old Vegas that warm feeling before it's gine

Circus Circus feels really old and outdated, and honestly, it comes across as pretty gross in some areas. The room was run down and dated. We didn't stay. The whole place just lacks the clean, fresh vibe you'd expect from a Vegas hotel. It tries to be fun with its carnival theme, but it ends up feeling cheap and a bit run-down instead. Definitely not the best choice if you're looking for a comfortable or modern stay.

This was our last resort because we got side tracked to vegas for a few days after our flight was cancencelled until two days later. This was the only hotel available. It's unfortunate because we do not like this hotel and still do not after this stay. For starters, this place is dirty and filthy as seen in some of my pictures. In our original room, it smelled like weed and cigarettes. We asked to move and were presented with a better smelling room. The staff were overall friendly. Most of the hotel smells. It is also located off the strip so it's a pretty long walk to get to the attractions and main hotels. There are also no circus shows playing when we stayed here!! The evelvator was reliable and the water pressure in the bathrooms was nice. Besides that, I don't have many good things to say about this place. Every door we touched, shocked us and it made me feel dirty staying here. I wouldn't recommend unless absolutely required. For kids however, I can see how this would be fun. There is a whole kid area with roller coasters and arcade games. If I was a child, I would enjoy this for a few hours. The outdoor pool would be fun too

One price came out higher, room no fridge with 25 daily cost, no assistance at Sky towers, repeatedly front desk never contacted housekeeping( they were the best in this hotel) my son are disabled and said no could assist us until Thursday morning with luggage because they are there at 3pm and was given a different room with two bed instead of king size for two.

The check in process is an absolute nightmare and took us over an hour because the gentleman available to help our "pod" was not helpful, refused to help us look up our reservation and just kept pointing us to a kiosk that was not working for us. After an hour I had a meltdown, my anxiety kicked in, and I wound up crying all the way to our room once we were finally able to check in after my husband was made to walk back to our car to retrieve my license, a directive by Ron, husband getting lost in the casino while I waited with all of our bags, no cell service in the lobby, and finally convincing Ron to look up our reservation and find that it was my husbands name even though I booked through my Expedia and Ron flicking my drivers license back to me dismissively and then going to "help" others, leaving my husband and I standing there still trying to check in in a sea of people also trying to check in. As for the room, it was basic, zero amenities

Circus Circus is one of those classic Vegas spots. I've been coming here since I was a kid, and now we bring our son, so there's definitely nostalgia attached. We always head up to the Midway, play the carnival games, and catch the free shows. The games are affordable at around $2-$2.50 each, which is rare these days, and the weekend shows, trapeze, juggling, and other acts, are fun to watch and don't cost a thing. That said, it's more about the experience than the wow factor. If you're looking for a simple, family-friendly place to let the kids have fun without spending a ton, Circus Circus delivers. Just don't expect anything beyond the basics.

I would truly like to understand what they do well here. Arrived an hour earlier than check in and was told it would cost us $30+ if we chose to check in early. We declined. Room had zero frills. Our window had a view of a wall. No fridge, microwave nor coffee maker. I didn't expect much but hoped for better. Only two sets of towels with no hand towels. The shampoo container was sitting on the tub. The crusty double backed tape was still stuck on the shower surround. A simple repair, yet they made a decision not to. Only three hangers in the room. Called next day to get towels. Instead of getting housekeeping, it was forwarded to front desk where I waited a half hour before hanging up. Went to front desk and told them our needs. Handed the phone and she connected me right away to housekeeping. They then delivered towels within the hour. My wife was able to get ahold of housekeeping via phone, as we were getting short of TP. No delivery... again went to front desk and delivery made hours later. Not all was terrible. Water pressure and hot water is great. Because of the convention the rates for this subpar property were over $160 a night. These rooms typically go for $30 a night, though I wouldn't stay here unless I absolutely had to even at $30 a night....

Even with low expectations, the hotel failed to meet them. The place is so run down, old, and smells. It was a ghost town. The room itself had questionable stains on the furniture, no hangers in the closet, broken wood inside the closet, no fan in the bathroom, and just general sense of a forgotten hotel stuck in the past. The server at the Big Chill 2 frozen margarita bar was nice though. They say you get what you pay for, but even at the price which includes a $50 per day resort fee, it's not worth it.

Circus Circus just isn't what it used to be. The place feels very old and poorly maintained -- it really needs some serious updates. The charm and excitement I remember from years ago are kind of gone. The Midway food options were almost nonexistent, which was disappointing, especially since that used to be one of the highlights. The whole area felt empty and outdated, with limited choices for snacks or meals. If you're visiting for nostalgia, it might bring back some memories, but overall it's not the same fun experience it once was. read more

This review is strictly for the midway. I have been coming here ever since I was really young so it's been 30 plus years since I've been coming here. It's been awhile since I've been here and I happen to be staying not too far from here so I decided to walk over. I'm here in the middle of the week so it was fairly dead and it wasn't as crowded so it was still fun to play all the Midway games. The system is different now where you pay for a card that you load money on and then you swipe them at the games. For me the best reference is that it is like a Dave & busters or an arcade. You get extra credits if you spend $30 and more and there are different tiers they have. They have these machines all over the Midway area here on the second floor. Nothing much has changed other than there are a few more arcades here. It was fun for nostalgia reasons to be able to come. The games range in price per play and sometimes there are deals if you pay for more plays. I didn't win as many prizes as I would have liked but I left with a hamburger squishmallow. This place is so nostalgic for me so hopefully it stays around for years to come. read more

The worse hotel I've ever stayed in! Table stake smell, the hotel is dated back to the 80's and needs heavy renovation. The shower wall paper was peeling and the shower had a slow annoying constant drip. The cherry on top is one bed had more than 20 strand of hair in the covers. Save yourself frustration and book another hotel. read more

This review is STRICTLY ABOUT THE ADVENTURE DOME AMUSEMENT PARK- we did not stay in the hotel at all. We decided to take the kids to spring break in Las Vegas and one of the fun places the kids wanted to go to was Circus Circus adventure dome. Basically for each child you pay $60 for unlimited rides all day so after buying the tickets, the kids loaded up on their rides and had a great time. A lot of the shine comes from the amazing workers there who actually have a great time having fun! The highlight of this entire outing was Alex! What an amazing star! She shined brightly, was over the top friendly and really made our experience the very best! You can tell that she has found her happy place! Thank you Alex!!! Two huge roller coasters, good rides for the little ones and a Starbucks right outside for moms and dads- hands down a great place to take kids when you don't want to expose them to the strip! read more

Omg this place is a dump. There's not a soul working in the lobby. You check in on screens and god forbid you need an employee for anything. It's so impersonal and degrading. We stayed in the refurbished rooms in the west tower and they were so dingy and dirty. My sock were black within minute. Water never turned hot. And of course, no on answered the phone when we tried to switch rooms. My family literally left. Never stay here. read more

It is an icon, almost one of the wonders of the world really been around for so long. This casino still has coin machines isn't that fantastic. It's a little more on the ... how do I put it ?.. not so "bougie"casinos. Comparatively, it reminds me of the EQC IN Tacoma and Fife Washington... in that it feels a little seedy. I expect to see some possible drama, louder winners and losers, and possibly the police . But, in my opinion the reels are loser then many and it hits every time I've gone. read more

I stayed one night at Circus Circus Hotel & Casino and it was honestly one of the worst hotel experiences I've had in Las Vegas. Our room was extremely outdated, run down, and not very clean. The biggest issue though -- we found cockroaches in the bathroom. That alone completely ruined the stay. No one wants to worry about bugs crawling around while they're trying to shower or sleep. When we reported it to the MANAGER, the only resolution offered was a $50 refund, which still left us paying $135 for a room with cockroaches. That's unacceptable. Just FYI per their "policy" if you experience this, you have to call for security (even at 3am when you saw the cockroaches) and then they will have you fill out a report and have you change rooms... I was unaware of this policy, which is why I only was refunded the $50... my mom was sleeping so I didn't want to wake her. It was late? I didn't want to disturb the other guests. Yet, i guess I'm at fault for not knowing their policy for cockroaches. We have 4 kids and have been thinking about bringing them to Vegas but we were trying to find a fun hotel for them. Needless to say, this was definitely not it. Las Vegas has so many hotel options at similar prices that are cleaner, updated, and better maintained. This property clearly needs serious renovations and better pest control. Unfortunately, I would not stay here again and would not recommend it to anyone visiting Vegas. read more

Didn't stay at this hotel, but went to visit it and had some fun. All the staff were very nice and friendly. You can see it's a tad dated, but I recommend at least a visit if you have kids. It's located right on the strip. They have different circus acts to watch. The slime making room looked super cool. The midway arcade area is absolutely massive with all of the old school and new school games. I felt like a kid again with the carnival games. Of course there's a huge casino... sadly I didn't win any money off the slots. but didn't play long. The icee land has delicious slurpees! They have a large food court with Burger King, Popeyes and all the popular fast food chains. They also had a lot of stores with good souvenirs that weren't too pricey. There's also a wedding chapel and tattoo parlor on site. I hear they have a huge buffet, but I didn't have a chance to try. read more

I had hope about this hotel! Unfortunately I should've trusted the reviews. This hotel is full of money hungry people trying to sign you up for timeshares, expensive yet disgusting food (pizzeria and the pick up stix chicken tasted old) best part about it was the Krispy Kreme but even the donuts on display had been sitting there all day until the next and never swapped. The internet there had my phone on SOS in most of the hotel, and the WiFi never works. Of course it's a casino so it's filled with cigarettes but I had to hold my breath most of the time. The sheets were stained and there was no free water , I couldn't even get a cup of water from the bar (money hungry) they tried to charge me $5 for the mini bottle of water. Honestly it's better if you check into a cheap hotel and then explore Vegas yourself. Like residence inn where they have free water all day, you can get coffee or tea as well as a free breakfast included in the stay for only $66/night. Why pay $90 on a room for a night when you can't get ANYTHING included, the buffet was shut down the entire time. You have to pay an extra $30/per person for the amusement park. Even the timeshare people said they would give us a ride after the tour and this ghosted us. The hotel is on the opposite end of the strip where there is nothing but crackheads and tweakers that are free to Rome hotel property. And there is nothing on this end ! If your trying to site see in vegas it's like 20 minutes away to be able to enjoy. read more

Wow so for my birthday dinner - my boyfriend took me to the steakhouse heard the food was amazing and unfortunately it failed. The only great thing was the crab cakes. We ordered riveted on bone medium and it was very tough and presentation was nice but I wanted taste at that price to be sensational! Ordered mac and cheese for the kids and it was so bland. Waiter replaced with mashed potatoes-ok The asparagus and rice pilaf had no flavor and rubbery the baked potato was so hard. Only plus was the cheesecake we ended up eating at home. I enjoyed the service by our waiter however the food was not exceptional read more

So the circus circus I can go on and on. I absolutely love this cool fun gaming interactive for the whole family hotel/casino/arcade/inside adventure dome. Even if not staying with kids so much fun . The arcade was fun we won a lot of things from the claw machine. Ate popcorn a little pricey but fair. It was good for the price. Seen circus shows every hour they do them free of charge as long as your there and catch them. I played in the casino won some money. I had a great time free parking . Must check out even if not staying here. They have a section where it's just coin play it was not my thing but we check it out and kept some coins worth a dollar because they have the circus circus design as a souvenir read more

The bartender Shania I'm pretty sure her name was Shania the real pretty lady with a really pretty white Silver hair. Oh my God she is the best tender bar I've ever had. Circus Circus is so underrated! Don't sleep on this place. They even have like the old-school slots where you play with tokens. We decided to go in and check out Circus Circus. I remember when I was a child. This was the best place you could ever stay unfortunately it has gone downhill. There's a very musty smell to the place. The floor is a bit sticky when you're walking I loved the nostalgia the old decor, but it's very rundown and it's sad. I hope that they do something to get this back to what it wants was. read more

Went here two days ago and there are some good and some bad.. things I disliked.. super far from everything on the strip, felt very Smokey inside even though it's mostly for kids, somewhat unclean and closed at 10 which is pretty early.. Things I liked.. tons to do for kids, the amusement park rides in the summer were discounted to $30 a person for unlimited rides, I felt like the tickets for the games lasted us a pretty long time and the fair games that you win stuffed animals by playing you almost always win a tiny stuffy with.. over all my kids had a good time and it was nice to have a place to take them. read more

On [08/31/25], my boyfriend and I played the dart toss game at Circus Circus Las Vegas. After the games, he successfully hit and removed the entire star -- which clearly meets the winning condition. I have a time stamp beginning to end 9:34 pm at darr station til around 10:16 at management office. Which we were unjustly turned away and not heard from. Which might seem small but is big when it comes to your management and true experience of winning a game fair and square Despite meeting the requirement, the booth operators refused to give him the prize. When we questioned this, their behavior was dismissive and discriminatory, making it clear we were being treated unfairly the manager and unfairly as she was sided with the teenagers from the start she turned us away coldly. This experience was both dishonest and discriminatory. I am requesting the following: That the prize rightfully earned be awarded. That the operators responsible be held accountable. That steps be taken to ensure fair treatment of all guests moving forward. Please respond promptly. I will escalate this matter to the Nevada Attorney General's Bureau of Consumer Protection and the Civil Rights Division. Thank you for your attention. read more

The shittiest hotel in the world would still outclass this place and I once stayed in a room where the sticky carpet undulated with every step. THERE. IS. BLOOD. EVERYWHERE. I'm not adding pics but believe me, if you look, there it will be. The aircon doesn't work, there is dust and grime everywhere and despite being "offered" the pool closes early and there is no fridge in the room. I'm not exactly sure what needs to be changed besides, like, everything but the lobby smells, the Casino smells, our room smells (like super cheap cologne) and MY PILLOW SMELLS. BAD. IDC if you have to save up more, do yourself a favor and stay anywhere else. read more

Reservation check in email in small print at the bottom says: FOR EXPRESS CHECK IN CALL: 1800-5-NOWAIT. I called this number as the hotel lobby was packed; the line snaked all the way to the food court. When I called this number they said THERE IS NO EXPRESS CHECK IN & you must check in at the front either self serve kiosk or front desk (hence the anaconda of a line) . WHY would you even have this on your email and it be false? Not even an option is extremely misleading & false advertising. Regardless & especially on New Yeas Eve. What you have posted & sent to your pre-paid guests versus what you actually do (following provided directions), do not match. Creates layers of stress on whats supposed to be a vacation. A complete waste of time for me to call a number that is a complete dead end. They should've been over prepared to have maximum capacity guests as this hotel has been around forever. "New Years Eve" busy is not an excuse. They SHOULD have mobile/app check in. its literally 2026. PROS: Friendly staff, Free Parking, location being ON the strip/ close to some venues/Resorts World- North Stirp etc. CONS: Carpet needs to be cleaned regularly or maybe upgrade to tile throughout. Outdated rooms with scary yellow lighting. The stench of cigarettes from the 60's, super narrow parking garage, lighting & wall paper throughout. read more

All I can say is damn. Circus Circus was a hotel experience I wanted to share with my kids, and dang, it just did not live up to the memories. It was probably one of the worst hotel experiences my family has ever had. The rooms are unkempt, and the next-door occupants argued and cried for hours. Security came and said, "Well, they stopped when we knocked." read more

It's just a really fun place for kids and families. We all had a really good time playing games, and watching the acrobats. The employees engaged really well with the kids. We spend about 1.5 hours there and they can't wait to go back again. read more

This hotel always has been one of most filthiest and oldest building ever nothing they dodnt try hard enough get remodel and improve more adventure for children,teenagers,adults, and many more can enjoy more for every adventures by seeing enternuanment, playing games winning prizes, adventures, small amusement park, and nothing could be same again after. It took away all fun for children and young adults it's so heartbroken and nothing going be the same as old time back in 1990s! read more

I took my son here for his 21st birthday. It certainly has gone down-hill since mine. The game staff were sweet and helpful but the gentleman at the front desk, when we went to get our players card, was the rudest human we met in our six days in Vegas. Name started with a "T". He couldn't be bothered. CERTAINLY not a "customer service" guy. Maybe put him on toilets? My son and I walked away from the counter with our jaws on the floor. The short circus performance was good and you win about every time you play a carnival game, so we ultimately had fun. read more

I was trying to make my best friend's birthday trip as easy as possible for all of us. The last few times we've been to Vegas we stayed pretty far from anything, so I got us a room at Circus Circus thinking it would be fun to see a classic hotel, play games, etc. This hotel is disgusting. Everything is broken, shut down, trashed, has bugs, or the staff is weirdly aggressive for no reason. There were roaches in our room that I took pictures of. The hotel staff gave zero f*cks. They said we should have "changed rooms, that isn't our fault." I said, "go to a different room with more roaches?" she said "you don't know that!", I said "I do know that, and so do you, that isn't how roaches work." I sent the pictures of the BUGS IN OUR ROOM to management and received no response from anyone. The Circus Circus is a relatively budget hotel, and you get what you pay for. It's located near the north end of the strip, and convenient to navigate to most of restaurants and attractions. Their facilities are fairly old and room conditions aren't very good, not my favorite, although it's still a family friendly and cost efficient place to stay. read more

I haven't stepped foot into CCircus in maybe 20 yrs to be honest. I came w an out of town Vegas visitor bc I told here it probably wont be here for much longer. We got a players card and both won a stuffed animal at one of the horse racing old school games. We caught a couple short acrobat act/balancing clown type act. It was pretty dead inside but mainly parents w some kids etc. Went over into the "Slots of Fun" old school coin operated slot machined but we both lost so we left lol. Overall it just felt old and misty and we prob washed our hands 7x in an hour bc even the slot coins turned ur hands dirty. It was an experience but I wont be rushing to go back for any reason. The staff were nice and hooked us up w one of each color tier empty blank players card so we could collect and frame it for memorabilia. read more

Walked through Circus Circus hotel and it did feel quite old. They have a free show near their casino area, but I was not able to make it to see it. We were here the weekend of the "When We Were Young" festival, so a lot of punk people were staying here. I have also heard this hotel is haunted. I wonder if there would be a way to keep the vintage feel of the hotel without redoing it, Vegas needs to keep variety in their casinos and not every resort needs to look extravagantly wealthy. read more

I've talked about this many times before with reddit, but I'm curious to know if circus circus responds to this. Last time I visited vegas, it was march of 2025. I had came to circus circus to see lucky the clown's lights to be somewhat working halfway but he wasn't fully lit up. for a hotel that brought back bingo, and had the money to even do so why not use it to fix lucky? I know it seems like im being rude, but Im a bit curious on when circus circus will fix lucky. vegas Is suposted to be the city of bright lights yet you can't even fix the poor guy :( read more

4 star for the room rate on a Saturday night, $101. Other hotels on the strip are $300+ so pay the extra or don't complain. Yes, the hotel is dated but it was a great price. It was a long walk to the popular hotels on the strip so next time I will drive and park at Cesar's then walk the strip. It's self check in so have your ID ready. I was in the Skyrise tower. Elevators are a mess and require cards. Each elevator is for certain floors and the elevators fill quickly. I waited 5 minutes for one so it's hit and miss. Again, $100 bucks a night so don't expect it to be the Wynn. I loved the clown act and the acrobatic women show in the midway for FREE. Update: after staying at Planet Hollywood I was charged $20 for parking and $62 for hotel resort. Circus Circus did not have these fees. Also, I was not bite by any bed bugs. read more

This place is a paradox... it's giving Chuck E. Cheese energy inside a Grand Theft Auto loading screen. Didn't stay in the hotel so can't speak on that. But walking through the casino felt like I was dodging side quests. Crowd outside was wild. Folks arguing in flip flops. Someone's uncle asleep by a slot machine. Whole thing had that chaotic "don't ask too many questions" vibe. But... once you step into the kids area, everything flips. Legit felt like we got dropped into a different building. Arcade is stacked. Games for all ages. Big screens, neon lights, the whole vibe. It's like they knew the casino was sketchy and said "let's bribe the kids with unlimited Skee-Ball." And it worked. Staff was posted up everywhere. Surprisingly attentive. Nobody looked tired or annoyed, which is impressive considering the energy outside. Even the claw machines weren't robbing us too hard. It's giving... survival outside, Disneyland inside. Just don't breathe too deep in the hallway and you'll be fine. read more

I was lead to believe that the newly renovated west tower wasn't as bad as people were claiming the hotel was, and I decided to give it a chance against my better judgement. From the second I walked in and smelt the air that filled the lobby I should have trusted my gut that was telling me to just leave. To be fair, the women working the kiosks were quite nice, and I won't fault them for taking a job with such a crappy hotel to make income, everyone needs to be paid, especially in this economy. However I wish better for them in life considering whatever diseases are running through the circulation system in that hotel shouldn't be inhaled long term. I was switched to 3 different rooms during my stay because each room I was put into was somehow worse than the last. 1st room had food caked onto the desk and glitter on the floor from the last visitor. 2nd room had stains on the bed linens & a plastic bag over the shower head, which the manager was "shocked" because the rooms are thoroughly cleaned (luckily the circus acts are more believable than the response to that hotel room). He then graciously let me know that i was put into a "deluxe room" at "no extra charge" (what a gentleman) but, who would have guessed it, again wasn't cleaned. BUT WAIT THERES MORE! To top off my deluxe palace luxury suite having dirt all over the floor and towels that looked like one of the clowns used it to wash off their makeup after a late night with a meth pipe, when we pulled back the comforter to inspect further, there were more stains and strands of human hair all over the sheets (YUM!). The hotel was an abomination. I went to the front desk to cancel my reservation and the paid clown that worked at the front desk, really fitting into the part of the hotel theme, was refusing the refund and kept reciting the same script of the "72hr policy". I asked her to stop repeating her scripted lines unless they were going to let me know about the policy where I'm forced to sleep in a hazmat zone. She again said that they would either give me another room (that I can only assume Ray Charles himself cleaned if you could walk out of any of my previous rooms thinking that it was sanitary), or not give me a refund for the night. I told her I was going to just dispute it with my credit card and move on, which she was visibility not pleased with. I ended up staying at the Conrad because i would have rather chewed on the glass pipe that the homeless person in the lobby was using than sleep in any room of that hotel. Train your staff better, train your housekeepers better, and seek help from god for the sins you allow by scamming people into thinking this place is nothing more than a cheap crack motel. If i could give 0 stars, I would. But I guess my 1 star will go to the innocent people who will suffer from mesothelioma from having to work in a place like that to make ends meet and the very entertaining performance by the meth heads smoking in the parking lot mixed with the people getting arrested in the valet drop off. read more

Do not go to this place I had a very rude experience with the front office Manger Pam I have a problem with my room (bed bugs ) which she insists I stay there no matter what she did not offer me a different room she did not offered me a refund I had to leave and get my money back though my credit card company she is the rudest manger that I have ever seen she should be FIRED !!! I love this place. The water slides were closed for "maintenance" and they said that it wouldn't be open for another while, but they weren't working on them at all? The customer service is alright, a bit aggressive but the midway workers are very, VERY, nice. Phone operator was a bit rude, some workers were impatient. Good is great, especially the pizza at the 777 cafe. Bed are fairly comfortable, and AC worked very good. TV had this weird thing where I couldn't connect a fire stick, though. Very annoying, but the cable isn't bad so. Pool is big and fun, good for kids. Adventuredome is always fun too. Wish water slides were closed, but, other than that great experience. Great spot on the strip, and very cheap. read more

We wanted her to have time inside too to play in the arcades. Time doesn't start until your first scan for a race or ride. They conveniently scanned us in for our first race and we were seated, in our car, for a solid 10 mins while they sorted out other drivers and go-karts. We got sick from exhaust blowing in our face as we sat there with all the cars running yet not moving. When we finally started the race, it was less than 5 minutes! Half of the cars were either dysfunctional or set to a slow setting with no rhyme or reason. Our next race, our daughter was so excited she is tall enough to try the sprinter car on her own (58in) so we went to check that out. We waited 10 mins for a race to finish then the worker told us she could only fit 8 racers despite there being 15+ cars. So we had to wait another round. Another 20+ mins gone. Half an hour in, we only had 2 races in. In total, we were able to get 5 races in the hour time frame (one of which was past our time limit, but the worker let us go anyway). We have been going to Mini Grand Prix for years and this was the worst experience by far. The races are shorter, the lines are longer, the wrist bands are more expensive and the facilities have not been updated. Our daughter, on her own told us, it's not the same anymore : (

I also like doing new and different things. I've gone go-cart riding, I took a shooting lesson once, and I have gone sky diving. One thing I've always wanted to do was learn to drive a forklift so this sounded like my thing. I heard about this place while researching unique things to do in Vegas that didn't included gambling or the Casinos. Once I found there website I was excited to give them a try, but was undecided on which option to book. There were so many good ones. The idea of driving a bulldozer and another option to use an excavator and crush a car sounded exhilarating. I was a little nervous about finding a way to get there as they are so far out of the strip. I was worried that the LYFT driver wouldn't want to drive that far out of town to take us there or pick us up. They are located 20 minutes south of the Strip, which is a quick LYFT ride that costs under $40. And to be houses it can be the same amount of time to get around the strip and back to our hotel, the Rio which is off the strip at night when it's the busiest time and traffic is so heavy. The trip there is almost all freeway. I was a bit nervous when I found out you have to sign a waver not holding them liable if you get injured. The price of the big equipment is between $195- $320 ( Each sessions last between 45 to 90 minutes and range form age 8+ or16+) The most exhilarating one was $799 and you get to use an excavator to crush a car.. Now that sounded like the most fun. That's called the Aggression session and lasts 45 minutes. The age for this is 14+. Driving a bulldozer sounded fun too. Being so nervous I ended up booking the kid's dig. There you get to operate a 1.5 ton excavator. That seemed safer if they offered options for little kids and I mean little. Age 2+ can operate the excavator. Depending on their size they may have to sit on someone's lap. The kids dig is $29.50 for 15 minute increments. You can book multiple sessions. And for each session another person can be the operator. You can't split sessions between multiple people. Prior to booking I did call them and talked to Taylor I believe and she assured me as an adult without a child could partake in the Kids Dig. She assured me that other adults have done it and it's still a lot of fun. We went the last Sunday in May 2026. Our appointment was at Noon. I wanted to make sure I had enough time so I booked two 15 minute sessions. Having two sessions allowed us to each try it. My husband said he'd just watch and be my photographer, but I waned to give him the options too to try it out and he did and enjoyed it. Probably not as much as I did, but he had fun. Alex my instructor was amazing. He continued to yell out directions till I got the hang of it. I was doing it with another kid next to me and I felt Alex was really paying attention to me even though he was direction both of us. I was in heaven as I dug dirt out of the ground and created a giant hole. 15 minutes was plenty for time and I relinquished my second session to my husband. I had so much fun that I wanted to share the fun. I had trouble on my own remembering what to do so he continued to give me directions till I got the handle of it. I wonder how little kids so it as I was having difficulty remembering what to do. On the other hand kids play so many video games these days so they may be more used to this rhythm of movement. I highly reccomend this activity to everyone that is looking for something unique to do in Vegas. This was the highlight of my trip to Vegas. I'm so glad I overcame my fear of getting to and from Dig This. I felt very safe using the excavator. It's a little nerve wracking at first as you lean back a bit when you are digging. You really don't need the photo package as your companion can walk all around you and take pictures and videos. This only works if you are confident in their photography and videography skills. I had my doubts so I bought the photo package and I'm glad i did as Alex go a really good action shoot of me. And I'm a total photography lover. I like to capture the moment and I feel like the money is worth it not to miss the moment. When I went Sky diving I hired a photographer and videographer too and it was so worth it. The digital photo package with plaque is $67.93. If you just want the plaque it's $37.93. It's so much of a better deal to get the digital photo package as you get a minimum of 5 shots. We got 17 for the 2 sessions and that was of both my husband and myself. I was thrilled with Alex's photography skills and his ability to catch those action shots. If you have reservations do the Kid's dig. It's only $29.50 and have your companion take your picture and it's a total steal for all the fun you'll have.

There is a "history of the west" preshow video which is ok. But the actual ride really shines. Overall experience is about 25 minutes from pre-show to exit. We did the West video which went through the deserts in the west, up the coast, and also the pacific northwest. Of course there was a flyover of Vegas. The video was very crisp. The ride system was very smooth. My daughter complained it didn't have the neat transitions between scenes like Disney does. This just jumps from clip to clip although they try to keep the perspective the same. Overall I really liked this. A definite must do in my mind!

How can you go wrong with an electric powered vehicle that was designed for bumping into other cars? Well, head on collisions can really mess up your back, spine, or whatever other skeletal terms you wanna go by. That is why for this track you are only supposed to go in one direction. In this case, counter clockwise. Still you will have those people that either dont know how to drive or just wanna be idiots and bump into everybody or both. You must be 54 inches tall to drive, at least 42 to ride. Before you are even let on to the track, you have those measuring sticks there at the entrance. Make sure to buckle up or the attendant walking around will not let the fun begin. Each car can fit two people if one is not tall enough to drive. There is only the one gas pedal on the left. To slow down or stop, simply just take your foot off the pedal. Or you can just bump into somebody if you wanna stop right away. To back up towards whatever direction you wanna go just turn the steering wheel to all the way to the extreme right or left. In the end, even after all this info, some people just dont know how to drive. Dont let any of these people drive you to the hospital. I stayed there 2 nights Friday and Saturday night March 2nd and 3rd 2012. We chose the circus circus because this was the only place that was kid friendly as we were meeting a family member there that wanted to visit with the kids too. (otherwise we would not have brought our kids to Vegas period) Friday night we were approached by the same black man trying to sell us weed right in front of our kids next to the elevator in the skyrise tower twice in one night. Then Saturday i had gone downstairs to smoke as I always get a non smoking room. (i know I'm a smoker but cant sleep in a smoke filled room weird I know) Anyway, I sat down at a slot machine next to the elevators and was going to play a few minutes why I smoked. Next thing I know I am being grabbed from behind, my arm was pulled out of socket by some crazy old lady that was yelling... I was sitting there thats my machine... I get her off of me finally and she came back punching me. WTF??? I was simply minding my own business... Thank Goodness there were a few witnesses... cause that old lady told the police I hit her... and I never touched her even after she started punching me because of her age. Then come to find out... the circus circus's policy is that in any incident, that they kick both parties out, regardless of who started it??? Even if your the one being attacked for no reason... even if they have it and see it all on video (which they did capture it all on video in my case) unless the Las Vegas Police sign some form stating your the victim (which luckily for me that is what happened) Still though that is craziness that someone can get attacked in their hotel and there is NO justice. You can be kicked out too??? What kinda crap is that??? That wasted about 3 hours of our carefully planned day.... They did kick that old lady out along with her entire family. They escorted them completely off the property... and on Sunday low and behold they had security posted in there where they should have been all along!!! Especially on a Weekend and Especially being it was the beginning of college spring break?? I agree with the other reviews that the food had no flavor the blue Iguana mexican place had no flavor whatsoever.... The food looked nothing like the pictures... (we had the ultimate grande burrito) it was a dollar more for rice, for beans and for sour cream... 3 extra dollars and then it was 3 bucks for each drink as well... They only sold one size! We didn't even bother after that to try their buffet as we had read these reviews before we left.. The room in the Skyrise tower was alright but everyone was right about the outdated TV. The beds were comfy and loved the pillow... Loved the pillow so much in fact I ordered one off amazon. The bathroom was alright too until we realized the things in the shower were not ours (we all assumed they were each others things eww) and were left by the guest before us,,, they were still in the bathroom when we left as well. we had 2 rooms adjoined and only one key out of 5 total keys worked... they mixed the keys up too... we were supposed to have 3 keys, my family members was supposed to have 2 keys and their key worked only on our room... (Thank Goodness we had the ajoined doors left open to each others rooms) The slot on her door was completely broken.. It did not even light up at all... Our keys all had to be re-keyed. After spending forever in a long line to get that done. Ugg (forget it we sucked it up and used the one key... until after the incident when security took me straight to the front of the line to get it done) We also signed up for and received players cards when we got to the circus circus and mine quit working, so I went to get a new one... everything was supposed too and should have been transferred over to the new card but... I lost all of my points... The kids 14 and 8 had a blast at the Adventure Dome and at the Midway carnival games. The circus acts were much better then we expected! Those were actually spectacular and a joy to see!! The kids loved it!!! The roulette table on the other hand had an admittedly strung out on crack guy at the table... He was clearly messed up and kept saying loudly how he needs to stop doing so much crack? Rockin Ritas was full of hookers... They were bragging about being hookers and the bar tender seemed to know they were hookers too... It is so sad that the Circus Circus is turning into a drug and prostitution hub for Las Vegas! So all in all we had a good time and bad time all in one trip... It kinda evened itself out with the good and bad... Circus circus not great but just Okay. We also stayed 2 nights at the Flamingo and 2 nights at the Cosmopolitan... So the circus circus was defiantly a downgrade but was perfect for the kids!!! read more

I very rarely write reviews, but after reading all of the terrible reviews online about it, I felt the need to share my experience. My 5 year old son and I stayed for 10 nights here in October 2014 for personal fun and our room was 100 percent free due to points. There was no check in line (approx 1:15 p.m.) and the check in staff was friendly, let us check in early with ease, they were helpful, gave coupon books, offered directions, etc. It was a very efficient and easy process. Our room was in the West Tower which has been newly renovated. Our room was equal to or comparable to a Hilton/Marriott room. It was a non smoking room, no smell of smoke in the tower, all new furnishings, bedding, etc. and the room was clean and perfectly fine for our stay. The maid service was extremely friendly and helpful for extra shampoo, etc. The bellman were attentive and friendly as well as the head staff that assisted with cabs daily. Yes, the hotel is an older hotel. Yes, it does allow smoking in the casino which does require a sort walk through to get to the Midway, etc. Yes, the pool is not the caliber of other Vegas hotels, but then again, neither is the price of your stay either. The carnival games were great, they were super nice to let me son do "do-overs" so he could win, the arcade was well maintained, the circus acts were diverse and enjoyable, the buffet is not the greatest on the strip, but it is also probably the cheapest on the strip. We did see long lines to check in later in the evenings, and we did see some larger groups staying there that had a children majority. However, since we were not loitering in the lobby, it was really no issue to us. Check out was a breeze. This hotel was great for my son and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a budget friendly experience. After all, we spent our days at all of the other hotels seeing shows, dining, etc so it really didnt matter...I am accustomed to staying at The Bellagio or the Paris so I'm aware of all that Vegas has to offer and I elected to do a different trip in light of making my child happy. I was scared because of all of the reviews, but most I found to be inaccurate when I arrived and considering the length of our stay, I feel like we had a good representation of the hotel as a whole. The shops are not Fendi and Gucci, but that should be no surprise, and they are only a short walk away if you prefer to shop with them. We walked to the Fashion Show Mall area and it was completely safe, well lit at night, etc and I was traveling along with my son. There were tons of people on the street to walk with you and it was perfectly fine and less obtrusive on that end than the main strip with pamphlets, pan handlers, etc. The beautiful Wynn was a super short walk away for the Lake of Dreams experience and 5 star dining, etc. It is not a 5 star hotel but they dont try to be nor do they promise that. But it was clean, friendly, fun, and certainly fine to stay there for budget or other reasons. Do not let the other reviews scare you. Just have reasonable expectations for what you are paying for. :) read more

Stayed for 3 nights got complained about ALL 3 nights. 1st night Guy next door told us at 11pm the to shut the fuck up bc we were being too loud in the hallway. Uh NO we werent wr were litterally jist getting into our room. 2nd night same thing of being too loud in our room n security came. Um no we arent and it is not our fault our door slams shut! 3rd night security guard has to keep harrassing us like fucking really? Sir take your kids to your room if you are staying here bc they cant be in this area.. Wtf we r walking thru to the prominade from the parking garage actually n not our fault there r damn machines on the way to the prominade.. This was earlier in the evening like 11:30pm. Then at 3 am we were gambling n we r being too loud walking thru to the machines by our elevator and being disorderly according to the SAME security officer? N wanna know what room n floor we r on to report us? Like we aint even being loud at all n aint no one even around over here.. The security guard was egging my bro n law on too. He flipped off the cameras bc the security guard was all say hi to the birdies in the sky. Well ofcourse he flips them off n says idgaf about no cameras.. that security guard was a miserable piece of shit. Then we ended up calling and complaining once we got back to the room because i was pissed off. Fuck that. He was even harrassing me while i was playing a game on their machine for my room number and what floor we are on. Security manager said well kids cant stop in that area. Bc the area from the parking garage to the prominade has a little slot machine area to the left and the machines surround our entry to the elevator to our room. I was like well we have been here since tuesday evening and not once have we been told kids cant stop in that area for 1 and 2 the kids didnt stop my sister walked by went n put her cigarette out at a machine and the kids n her bf kept going to the prominade and ur officer didnt say dont stop he said kids cant be here! The manager said well if that is true he said that then i apologize for the way he said it he should have worded it differently and I will speak to him. I told him i feel your officer was racial profiling him and harrassing us. Because when we came back this way n stopped to gamble without the kids your officer was harrassing us. He said your bro n law was being loud and disorderly. I was like look he wasnt being very loud and honestly we talk loud in general. I also asked other patrons and they were not bothered. He said regardless of what the other patrons say it is up to the security guards discretion if he was loud or not. He said the way my bro n law acted after he was asked to be quiet was grounds to b evicted. I told him how he reacted yes was not the best way. But if your officer wasn't rude and racial profiling and acted a different way then he would have reacted differently. He said he will speak to his officer and investigate the situation. WE EXPERIENCED A BAD SITUATION WITH TWO INDIVIDUALS KNIFING EACH OTHER IN FRONT OF OF US AND OUR KIDS. PEOPLE STAY ALERTED AT ALL TIMES. I've stayed at this casino before but this time our experience was horrible. I'm completely disappointed. From the beginning when I was checking in till the very last night I stayed there. As I was checking in I asked the receptionist if she could kindly provide me two mini fridges for the two rooms that I booked. I explained to her that we needed it for medication and she was charging me for it. When I know that they waive the fee only if it's for medications. Eventually she decided to order the fridges to our rooms and finished checking us in throughout the process she was giving us a awful attitude. We got to our rooms and left our stuff there and left to do some touring on the strip. We came back late and as we where getting ready for bed I noticed there was blood on bed sheets. That only gave me the impression that they hadn't changed the bed sheets. I striped them off and called the housekeeping department multiple times and they didn't answer. Lucky I had packed a set of bedsheets and I used mine. The next morning I told the housekeeper that the sheets had blood and that they were dirty. Instead of letting her supervisor know of the situation she decided to put me down and told me that they couldn't change the blankets because I didn't inform them the first day immediately. As we were leaving the supervisor was there and we told her the situation and she told us that she would have the housekeeper change the blankets and offered me to move to another room. I told her just to please change the blankets. She also told me that I could file a complaint for the way the housekeeper expressed herself to me. On our 3 night there we came back around 7pm from having dinner and on our floor three individual were getting into a verbal altercation. My husband, kids and I were stepping out of our room to head over to the arcade. When these individuals rushed down the hallway towards where we were with their knifes out trying fight each other screaming that they were going to kill each one of them mentioned that they had a gun. Unfortunately it was to late they seen us face to face. We rushed in into our room. Locked the doors called front desk. They told us that they were aware of the situation. We called again and told them we were scared and the said that they would send security over. Security came to our room but they didn't apologize for the terrible moment that we' had to experience. My kids were scared to go to the restroom. They didn't want to go out anymore. Security said that individual would leave the premises and that all they could do and move us to a different room. I am deeply concerned on how they handled this situation. It's very upsetting that you go with your family to circus circus to have a pleasant time and end having a life threatening experience. Many people go here because this a place where kids could also have lots of fun but with situations like these happening its unacceptable. read more

I can remember when Las Vegas went through their "family friendly" phase. Most of the popular hotels featured motion simulator rides, IMAX theaters, really stocked arcades, free "tamer" shows, and the like. After "The Hangover" came out, Vegas ran with their "What Happens in Vegas stays in Vegas" campaign, and the family phase was phased out. No more simulator rides, arcades fell to neglect. No more G/PG rates free shows and attractions. So these days, to take children and teens to Vegas is a true challenge. Enter Circus Circus, the only hotel that the younger set has a decent chance at surviving during their Vegas stint. This is moreso due to a very nice amusement park and the ongoing circus acts. But not all is good in Circus Circus Land. Here's the break down: GOOD: The amusement park is a nice bargain. There's enough there to entertain toddlers to teens. I really enjoyed the two roller-coasters, and I'm thankful that Circus Circus is the only hotel on the Strip that still has motion simulator rides. Also, the circus act continue to be a nice add-on. It features great stunts of balance and high-flying acrobatics, and it's a consistent venue that's close to McDonalds. BAD: Kids like buffets, and so do families with kids. But the Circus Circus's buffet is subpar. Yes, it will do the job of getting food into empty bellies, but with so many better buffets on the Strip, and a $17 dinner cost, I'm expecting much more, and better quality. Kudos to the pasta bar; easily the best part of the buffet. The hotel is also way down at the end of things. It's bordered by a vacant lot that has been vacant for years, and the lot is a few blocks long. At night, it's empty, very dark, and eerie walking south from Circus Circus to the main element of the Strip. There are also some unsavory characters hanging out in the area. UGLY: Smoke ventilation is horrible. As a non-smoker, I could feel the nicotine doing a number on my lungs. Circus Circus is an older hotel, and they've really neglected their ventilation system. It's so bad that you can cut through the smoke-odor with a knife. This is bad news for children and their young, developing lungs. All and all, I'm recommending Circus Circus for families with children only because there's no longer any other family-friendly hotels on the Strip (including Excalibur). And while the amusement park and the circus are great touches, families need to be wary of the location, the poor buffet and especially the poor ventilation. read more

This place is a true horror show-don't let the "festive" carnivalesque atmosphere sway you any differently. As others have suggested, it should be burned to the ground. I am writing a book about Las Vegas and therefore interested in the seedier side of the city, however, this place is a true shithole with no redeeming qualities, even from a literary perspective. The one thing that will hit you in the face like a hard slap from a prostitute is the overwhelming smell of mold and decay the moment you step through the doors. That and a carpet stained so many times by so many different bodily fluids it is currently a putrefied shell of its formerly colorful and cheerful self. Unfortunately for me, I encountered a double whammy visiting this place: holiday weekend and what seemed like the end of some performance. Swarms of people swept me into their human wave and I could not escape before taking a lap around the bend-I have never seen this place so crowded, mostly people with their packs of obese children (really is there no better place to take your kids?). I took a brief detour to the casino floor and that's when things really got ugly. There were beer bottles and garbage strewn everywhere, while one listless employee halfheartedly swept a few straw wrappers into his dust pan. At 3 pm there was a man so drunk he could barely walk straight or focus his eyes lurching in my direction, blind to his surroundings. Fearing that I would either be bitten by any number of vermin or mugged in full view of everyone in the middle of the afternoon, I made my way to the door and RAN away. I'd rather take my child (or myself) to a prison yard (which is basically what this was) then EVER come here again. Unless you're a glutton for punishment, you'd be better off staying home. Oh and the best part is that Circus Circus is located smack dab in the middle of a tweaker-deranged homeless person hangout. In one day, I spotted a disabled woman tying up her arm in the street in broad daylight, a very deranged man running down the street, full-speed in 110 degree heat with his eyes simultaneously bugging out of his head, and what I assume was a homeless man wearing shoes 5 sizes too big while attempting a zombified walk/stagger which culminated in his swaying in place in the middle of the street for an undetermined amount of time. read more

These people will steal your money. The have policies of breaking the law unconcerned with the federal trade commission in the least. The laws about the gotcha fees at check out they dont disclose when you book or even when you check in. They say nothing then at check out with a straight face these thieves double the bill at least. I paid $75 as advertised in a travel site. Read every word and no mention of resort fees, skyline fees, or the $175 unexplained charge. $500 in fraudulent charges hit my card 24 hours after check out they want you to clear the city before they steal from you. Do not take this from them do not pay it file a claim with the federal trade commission. They made these practices illegal over a year ago. These people are fraudsters and criminals. They tell you they need your credit card for a deposit that is a lie. A scam to get you to give them your credit card information so they can steel from you illegally. Then not give you any way to contact them directly. They know the government is incompetent and bought off by big corporations just like them . They have the right bought and paid for by our elected officials to steel from you like you ain't shit. They have stolen our country and now act the fool. I am never staying here or going to Vegas again. I don't take shit like this ether so I will file a small claims case. Win my money back plus damages. Best of all whoever shows to defend these scum bags I will beat into a coma in the parking lot. This is war. This must change and that starts with driving out of business shit holes like circus circus. Skyline fees. The room was the set up. For that I paid $75 per night. Checked out not a word mentioned about any such fee. Until 24 hours later then they hit me with $500 in illegal charges. Go ahead and try for yourself to call them. The whole thing is a robbery. This is why corporations are not people should have no rights and are a massive liability to have exist at all. Nine essential and lethal corrupt thieves that add nothing and take everything they have not earned. Time to shut this shit down. Circus Circus is a truly unique Las Vegas experience, and our time there was as enjoyable as always. The casino has a great variety of slot machines, including classics like Wheel of Fortune, and the bonus features keep things exciting. One of the standout elements of Circus Circus is the high-wire circus acts you can watch while you gamble, adding a bit of old-school Vegas charm to the experience. Plus, even in the peak of summer, the place stays wonderfully cool. Slots O Fun is a newly renovated gem at Circus Circus. The coin-operated slots give off a nostalgic vibe, and the bar serves up some of the cheapest food and drinks you'll find on the Strip. For just $2, you can get hot dogs, popcorn, shrimp cocktails, and beer. I was initially hesitant about the shrimp cocktail in a plastic cup, but it was surprisingly fresh and crisp, with a spicy cocktail sauce that hit the spot. The Sabrett hot dogs were also pretty good--definitely no complaints for $2. The staff here are friendly, and tipping well is always appreciated. The atmosphere at Circus Circus isn't fancy, but it's perfect if you're looking for a solid place to gamble and eat without breaking the bank like some of the more upscale spots on the Strip. The crowd here might remind you of the folks you'd meet at Walmart--down-to-earth, friendly, and not pretentious. There's no need to be a snob; Circus Circus is a great place with its own charm. Some people unfairly dismiss Circus Circus as a "dump," but that couldn't be further from the truth. Those who jump on that bandwagon often haven't truly experienced all the wonderful things this historical spot has to offer. Built by Jay Sarno, the same visionary who created Caesars Palace, Circus Circus was designed to be a family-friendly destination where parents could gamble while kids enjoyed games and circus performances. Decades later, it still delivers on that promise. The architectural details are also a hidden treasure--keep an eye out for Sarno's famous breeze blocks (Sarnoblock) and the jesters hidden in the wooden moldings on the walls. So i actually have a lot of places that I need to review, because we literally drove cross country (from Charlotte, North Carolina to Los Angeles, California). My younger sister's birthday was on August 8th! So to surprise her, we counted our coins and surprised her with a road trip to Las Vegas, Nevada. She loves amusement parks and rides, so we looked online for a hotel that was near attractions. What we found was, Circus Circus, which is a hotel that has the amusement park & rides inside of it!!! Intriguing to say the least! & if you are looking for an inexpensive stay on the strip Ok, ok, so enough of the story telling, let me stop boring you, i'll get on with the review!!! lol Circus Circus is a huge ... HUGE family oriented hotel.. There are about six separate individual buildings surrounding the main amusement attractions. What I LOVED: **all amusement rides were inside, so rain or shine, or extreme heat, you can always ride. **good location to the Las Vegas Strip. you can walk, which i suggest b/c parking is horrible on the strip, but if you walk, make sure you don't wear extremely high heels! .. (I made that mistake) lol **Free Parking at the hotel!! excellent!! **cab availability is excellent **you can check out through the television **security guarding all parking lots What I HATED: **pool closed at 9pm !! uhh, can it be opened all night.. come on.. LAS VEGAS!!.. there's never a lifeguard on duty, so why close early? **not enough towels **water pressure in shower, was o.k. looks like i had more things i loved, than hated, but it wasn't luxury nor a relaxation place.. but it was family.. very busy, things always going on.. non-stop, kids everywhere.. the slot machines were ok, i didn't get rich or anyting! lol i gambled 2 quarters and got $6 :") that's about it, so if you looking for a fun family-time and close to the strip.. check it out! `A.D. read more

Lasciate ogni speranza, voi ch'entrate. This phrase kept running in my head during my one day at Circus, Circus. Why only one day, you ask? Well, my heart couldn't take it. It wasn't the meth heads or the white, cracked-out trailer park kings or the families of twenty or more with their ginormous asses blocking the walkways, or the creepy gaze of tattooed men staring hard eyes at my 10-yr-old daughter, or the smoky, dark hallways dotted with unwatched and unwashed children, or the hospice-like feel of the midway and its sad, dated video games on life support, or the oversized skating rink feel of the Adventuredome and the Frankenstein-like vibe of its rides like they were all built in a meth-lab-turned-factory with the severed limbs of former discontinued state fair attractions, or the ridiculous prices charged to ride them. No. It was the hopelessness that the collective images filled me with. The feeling that this is where we're all headed-man and casino alike. That when the glitz and glamour of the casinos of the south side of the Vegas strip began to tire, this is what they'll become. An unkept sarcophagus storing the broken pieces of ourselves that no one wants but the desperate and sick and derelict. And that's the problem with Circus Circus. Because Vegas is not supposed to pin you down to the darkest threads of reality. It's supposed to take you away from all of that. The grocery store in your town you can no longer visit at night. The homeless guy you pass by on your way to work every morning. The grungy kid from high school that never stopped being the grungy kid from high school. The Jerry Springer episodes that flash on your television while you're scrolling to CNN. Inner city graffiti, discarded tall boys, young men in trucker hats and baggy jeans gripping the skeletal arms of their young mom girlfriends. Vegas shouldn't remind you of this. But Circus Circus does. "It's where lung cancer goes to get lung cancer," I told my boyfriend. He agreed. "I hate to feel like an elitist..." he began, and I nodded. Follow up on the Hotel Stay at Circus Circus for 12 days during New Year 2016-2017: I have just received the correspondence from Risk Management Cell(RMC) of this Strip Hotel In Las Vegas denying all possibilities of BedBug in our Hotel Bed during our stay. Fact is, that I was bit alive during this period, took some time for me to realize the cause of my terribly itchiness on the underside of my legs. A bedbug was seen alive on my portion of the bed by my daughter and me and it was full of fresh blood when we crushed it. Point is- when you are on a trip to a happening place like Vegas, the only thing you desire from your hotel booking is a peaceful night's sleep without bugs or any other disturbances as you have planned out a busy schedule during your stay. You will certainly not get the time to change rooms or pester the hotel management to pay compensation for your discomfort plus the possibility of carrying home a bedbug in your luggage, especially when you are paying $100/day for booking a room that you will use only to sleep in for a few hours. Friends, please choose else where such as The Caesar's Palace, Luxor, Wynn, The Golden Nugget(downtown) The Lucky Dragon, Stratosphere, New York NY- I have been to these Hotel's cum Casinos's and believe me, they are maintained like show places while the Circus Circus has a huge crowd but the whole setup looks rundown and poorly maintained. Besides, if you have any issues with the room, they ask you to shift to another room which might have its own maintenance problems, apart from the fact that they deliberately hide information such as that, in case of an issue we need to lodge an official complaint with their Security division, approach their RMC for opening a case, etc. It is not so simple as making a formal complaint to room service or the front desk and they should actually take care of all the formalities. They simply push the buck around to escape responsibilities. This hotel is part of the MGM group so one would assume that it is well maintained. We've stayed at Circus Circus a number of times and always had pleasant experiences. However, after our latest "stay" we will never deal with this horrible hotel again. Let me just say the staff is horrendous and the words customer service don't belong anywhere near this establishment. The hotel screwed up our reservation and had us booked for the night after we were supposed to stay there. We were flying in from Miami and knew we'd be getting in late, so we called ahead to make sure the hotel knew we'd be checking in late. They confirmed that we had until three in the morning that night, while neglecting to inform us that the reservation was for the incorrect night. Weary from our travels, we were beyond frustrated to find out at the check in desk that our reservation was for the wrong night. The first clerk we dealt with had neither the authority nor the integrity to handle the situation, and quickly deferred us to his manager. Her name is Janet Edwards and this horrible woman deserves to be FIRED. Janet came over and was instantly yelling at us, the paying guests, for the hotels oversight. Had we been informed earlier on the phone that the reservation was for the wrong night, we would have booked another hotel room. It was now one in the morning, we were tired and everywhere was closed or sold out. Janet didn't care, and rather treated us like unwanted nuisances, despite the fact that we were paying customers. She literally yelled at us, refused to do anything to remediate the situation, and told us time and time again that "this conversation is over." This is the singlehanded worst customer service experience I have ever been subjected to. How a "customer service" agent could think it's appropriate to yell at paying customers for the hotel's oversight is beyond dumbfounding. Anyways, we will never return to this hotel and I would urge you to think long and hard before booking a room here. The prices are cheap, but don't expect any sort of customer service and if there's an issue, know it won't be resolved and you'll be treated like a criminal. read more

Hotel deserves 0 star. Check-in was an hour or two long. They have so many computers available to assist customers and only two workers!! RIDICULOUS!!! Rooms don't have microwave or mini fridge even when it's an upgraded room. Carpets are dirty!! This should be a nasty motel NOT a hotel!! filthy n run down!!! Very loud air conditioning and dusty rooms my skin was itchy during our 4 day stay. There are rats because when the lights are off you can hear things moving/crawly all night!!!!!! I COULD NOT SLEEP!!!! waste of money better to get a nicer room n pay a little more even if you have kids and come back for kid's attractions but DO NOT STAY HERE!! This is my first and last time I will NEVER RETURN!!!! Employees attitudes are those from the hood, picked up from the streets!! Uglyass attitude with no customer service!!! You don't get a smile, a welcome, Hi or Thank you. Circus circus employees are all Bergens, unhappy n miserable looking working there which was probably the reason they they treat customers like shit!! They looked unhappy working there especially at the food court and housekeeping. Nora/Sara are both unprofessional. i was told I would be on the list for housekeeping, came back to a dirty room with no towels. i called for room service and was told Sara didn't put me on the list for room service. Called back and this b****h Nora from housekeeping acted stupid and didn't think I needed housekeeping service so she never sent anyone and the b***h hung up on me. I called back to housekeeping and she picked up and hung up. called again to speak to a supervisor and my call was never answered again. Called help desk talked to person in charged and he (David) said someone will call me and never did! Take your money somewhere else!! By the way, plumbing is bad, shower water does not drain. Worst experience with my family EVER!! Many of the negative reviews had the same experiences. Shitty place and shitty employees!!! Don't spend your hard earned money here!!!! I had a nice time visiting Circus Circus hotel in Las Vegas. When I arrived to my room, it was nice to see the old interior designs as I have seen it when I was a child. One thing caught to my attention is that this hotel needs to do some repairs and more cleaning. When I arrived to my room, I saw some damaged dry walls, water stains on the ceiling, and the carpet didn't look clean at all. The bed was clean and comfortable but I was a bit uncomfortable after seeing some damaged areas. I thought to myself that this room might be infested with bugs. Luckily I didn't see any bugs crawling nor dead at any places in the room, so I will let that go. The hotel lost one star from me because of the damaged areas that I observed in the room. I have enjoyed my time of gambling and I was happy to know this hotel saved some gambling machines from the past. I may be wrong but some of the machines that I saw was the same gambling machines as I remembered in the old days. My dad use to come here often and play the slot machines and black jacks while my mom would take me up stairs and allow me to play with the kid's games. Now it is the opposite temperament and this time I get to play the gambling games while my wife takes the kids upstairs to play with the child games just like what I use to do in the 90s. I was surprised that this hotel continues to have the circus arena performing on the second floor. I watched the performance and it has never disappointed me since when I was a little boy. The food inside the buffet was great! I loved to eat their steak they have made and all other foods have the excellent taste with a mixture of spices. The interior design inside the buffet was authentic and if I could remember, the hotel never changed its interior designs and remain as it is when it was built in the 60s. Overall I did enjoyed my stay and I did have a good time here. Whenever I have to chance to come here again with family, I will try to stay here longer. I haven't stayed a night at the CIRCUS CIRCUS HOTEL/CASINO (LAS VEGAS) yet, but, I wanted to write this review because I have been very lucky at this hotel/Casino in my last several visits and I want to share the love with all of the other LOYAL YELP USERS. I have found the other visitors (internationally as well as national) to be so kind and supportive as you win or lose at blackjack, the loosest slots on the strip, or, any of their other MANY, MANY GAMES. Personally, in my last visit, I got most excited when I won $600 playing a BLACKJACK ARCADE-STYLE MACHINE. The buy-in starts at a mere $3 (I am embarrassed buying-in that low, so, I always chip-in $5, at least). After reaching a certain point, I got brave enough to up my bid to $25 & eventually up to a $75 bet. In the end, I felt my luck was running low, so, I cashed out at $600. I would swear that it didn't take me an hour to earn that money and it makes me wonder what I could have earned if I had the bravery required to really risk good money. It's memories like this one that makes me wonder why I haven't visited CIRCUS CIRCUS HOTEL & CASINO - LAS VEGAS, NV more often as I am 47yo. ANOTHER COMMENDING REMARK ABOUT CIRCUS CIRCUS H&C, LAS VEGAS: I suppose all of my ups&downs winning&losing have put me in the eye of the staff there - of which you rarely go a moment without seeing SOMEONE you can reach out to (if you should have questions, need guidance or have a random comment you want to make). I suppose after I joined their players club, all of the points I've earned got me 3 separate 2day/2night stays in the month of October. When I asked if I had any joyous opportunities coming up in September 2023 compared to the THREE FREE 2 DAY/2NIGHT STAYS AT CIRCUS CIRCUS H&C IN THE MONTH OF OCTOBER, A kind worker (female) at the VIP CLUB OFFICE TOLD ME THAT I WOULD RECEIVE $50 IN FREEPLAY IN SEPTEMBER. Too bad zero is not an option. Where to begin. The front desk workers are incompetent and they lie to you. I was asked for my credit card 3 times after already placing one on file for incidentals. I wanted to watch pay per view movies and it told me to call the front desk and lo and behold they asked me for credit card AGAIN!!! They have no clue what they are doing over here. We waited for close to 2 hours for a crib for our one year old and after 4 phone calls we finally got one, at a cost of course. They charged us $20 per night for a filthy little portable crib! On top of a $25 a night resort fee!! Go stay somewhere else!! I'm not a picky person but I get so frustrated when dealing with this kind of incompetency from the whole front desk staff!! But wait, there's more, much more...... Rooms are dirty and smelly. I rented 2 rooms connected and one of them smelled liked urine and the other like ass, no joke. Apparently there is a shortage on pillows cause only 2 are available per bed with no extras. Ok but that's not all, there is construction going on all around this hotel. Even thought it's on the strip you still have to drive to get out of the ghost town section we are in at this motel. Circus Circus is the ghetto motel 6 of the Las Vegas strip and its front desk staff need to go back and flip burgers and not deal directly with customers cause they have zero knowledge on how to treat people. The management here over the front desk area need to be demoted or fired and the entire staff retrained. The cleaning ladies are nice, the adventure dome is fun for the kids. I do not ever want to stay here again and truly regret spending one Cent in this place. The only real fun during our stay here was taking the time to read the other reviews about this joke of a hotel. Stay away from booking here but maybe check out the indoor mini theme park. read more

Were do I start ?? I only giving 1 star because I've been to many casinos, but this one is straight up horrible !!! The rooms are suppose to be clean and redone , well if you call redone with carpet or drapes that smell like a smokey run down bar and the bedding had dried up blood and crumbs on top of the bed spread this is your beautiful kind of place. I was in the sky tower which the elevators are slowest I ever been in. The kids are all freaking over which OK because of the kid attractions which OK you can't blame the kids, but there should be a curfew of some sort. I tried some food places which were the worst ever circus buffet average food nothing special but just barely OK The garden grill was terrible from a waitress that couldn't speak English and the food was terrible, burgers were greasy nasty, sweet potato fries were even worse, the grease was never changed in their fryer, I 've worked in the food business and they didn't do nothing right, the food , the service. This place would be shut down in are area with in a couple of months just freaking terrible. They even let some dude in with no shirt that just turned 21 food place Barista bagels Lazy horrible staff wanted to give me curled up milk for my coffee, the coffee machine wasn't even cleaned along with counters , the bagel I could bounce it off the wall , I asked to exchange but they said they could, coffee sucked, bagel sucked, staff sucked , they sucked If you just want to party and don't gamble there than this is the place to be. Again the Roms are dirty, food sucked, service sucks as I stated above, I got a free room and air fair from are apa pool tournament. Yelp Review: Circus Circus - 2 stars. We chose Circus Circus to keep our Vegas lodging budget-friendly while hoping for a decent stay, opting for an upgraded room in the West Tower. Check-in was quick and easy with the self-service kiosks, which was a plus. The room on the 16th floor was decent--clean enough, but for a party of four, we were given only three towels, which was odd and inconvenient. The hotel itself was fine for wandering around, but our experience took a sharp turn for the worse at 3 AM. Our neighbors stumbled in drunk, talking loudly, and then cranked up their music. The walls were so thin it felt like we were in the same room as them. It was unbearable, and my hopes that they'd pass out quickly were dashed as the noise continued. This is where the hotel's security team earns their five stars. I called them, and they responded incredibly fast. They addressed the noisy group promptly, though the group denied being loud. Security issued a warning and left, but smartly lingered down the hall. Sure enough, the party started up again, and security returned, handling the situation with impressive professionalism. They firmly but politely explained that people were trying to sleep. The group--entitled and argumentative--refused to take responsibility, but security stayed calm and resolved the issue so effectively that the group ended up leaving. Unfortunately, this ordeal terrified my 11-year-old daughter, who was so shaken that she didn't feel safe staying any longer. We ended up cutting our stay short because I refuse to let my daughter stay in a place that makes her feel scared. While the security team was exceptional, the thin walls and disruptive guests made for a terrible experience overall. Two stars for the hotel, but major props to the security team for their outstanding response. read more
