My son, my husband, and myself decided to stay at Circus Circus, and we ended up getting one room with two beds. I don't know what the hotel staff was thinking. Honestly, if you're going to put a room with two adults and one child in one room, you would think that they would not book the rooms next to family rooms with other people who are not family was not able to sleep at all because I kept hearing sex noises while my son was asleep. I was stressed out, hoping that my son would not wake up and listen to everything that was going on in the next room. Honestly, this was horrible. I would never stay there again. Check in at kiosks only. Super easy and quick. May be tougher for the elderly though. This place is SUPER outdated hotel. Just be aware. The AC works but at night I feel like it wasn't as cool as I'd like, but not horrible. However, there was no way it was 65 in our room. It never got that cold in there. It was maybe 70 at the lowest. I didn't like that. Separate manor buildings are lined up all horizontally, not vertically . Like i said, old set up. LOVE that there's parking along the sides Of our hotel room Though! Plenty of parking and I didn't have to walk forever to get to my room. Appreciated that factor. Came here with my girl with her son. His first time here. We walked thru the hotel our first night to see what they had. Had a small game room that we played at for a bit. For $20 we were able to play table hockey, and 5 other games. Checked in here for the first time , I brought my kids for their birthday. Kiosk Check-in. There is a few staff members around to help you if needed and are friendly. Lots of free parking. Our room was on the first building , 1st floor, close to the main street so it was good. When we walked in I went straight to the bathroom first and it was so dirty. Hair , not just from Your head, toothpaste on wall, and what appeared to be a blood stain on the sink. I called to complain so they gave us another room but had to walk back to the main lobby for the key and now we were placed on a room all the way to the last building and the 3rd floor. That room smelled bad but we dealt with it it was just one night anyway. No fridge no microwave really wish they had those amenities. Circus Circus just isn't what it used to be. The place feels very old and poorly maintained -- it really needs some serious updates. The charm and excitement I remember from years ago are kind of gone. The Midway food options were almost nonexistent, which was disappointing, especially since that used to be one of the highlights. This review is strictly for the midway. I have been coming here ever since I was really young so it's been 30 plus years since I've been coming here. It's been awhile since I've been here and I happen to be staying not too far from here so I decided to walk over. I'm here in the middle of the week so it was fairly dead and it wasn't as crowded so it was still fun to play all the Midway games. The system is different now where you pay for a card that you load money on and then you swipe them at the games. For me the best reference is that it is like a Dave & busters or an arcade. You get extra credits if you spend $30 and more and there are different tiers they have. They have these machines all over the Midway area here on the second floor. Nothing much has changed other than there are a few more arcades here. It was fun for nostalgia reasons to be able to come. The games range in price per play and sometimes there are deals if you pay for more plays. I didn't win as many prizes as I would have liked but I left with a hamburger squishmallow. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS DEAD: We were on a road trip with our travel trailer for our 30th anniversary. You can only book online (which is ridiculous), you cannot just make a simple phone call. On a cell phone, with twisty/windy roads en route, online is almost impossible. The thing they send to make sure you're not a robot, didn't work or send? PLUS, it shows you booking a room, not a trailer site?? (even the receipt shows a room charge!) When I finally got through, I wasn't sure I had 2 days as planned, and was told by a gal at Circus (that answered their inhouse phone) that "yes" we had 2 days booked, The receipt didn't show that, so the 2nd day I questioned again and was told that I had only booked one day. That particular gal was apologetic, and gave me a discount for the 2nd day, which was nice. The campground was almost empty. On the way, we had asked their address 3 different times for the back entry address of the campground, and each time got a different answer--as we didn't want the front entrance of the casino. We have stayed at their campground in the past, which is a great location but it is getting expensive for no amenities. It is nothing more than a parking lot with hookups, no shade. One of the restrooms quads was pretty much broken. There is NO LONGER any laundry facilities tho they still advertise it. An employee laughed and said it's been closed for a long time and would check into taking if off their website. I DOUBT it. My point is, a 5 minute booking phone call would have saved me an hour of trouble trying to do online "stuff". I have elderly friends that literally still use flip phones and will NOT deal with the internet, so Circus is probably losing business at least with the elderly--and yes, they have money to spend and gamble! read more

The check in process is an absolute nightmare and took us over an hour because the gentleman available to help our "pod" was not helpful, refused to help us look up our reservation and just kept pointing us to a kiosk that was not working for us. After an hour I had a meltdown, my anxiety kicked in, and I wound up crying all the way to our room once we were finally able to check in after my husband was made to walk back to our car to retrieve my license, a directive by Ron, husband getting lost in the casino while I waited with all of our bags, no cell service in the lobby, and finally convincing Ron to look up our reservation and find that it was my husbands name even though I booked through my Expedia and Ron flicking my drivers license back to me dismissively and then going to "help" others, leaving my husband and I standing there still trying to check in in a sea of people also trying to check in. Didn't stay at this hotel, but went to visit it and had some fun. All the staff were very nice and friendly. You can see it's a tad dated, but I recommend at least a visit if you have kids. It's located right on the strip. They have different circus acts to watch. The slime making room looked super cool. The midway arcade area is absolutely massive with all of the old school and new school games. I felt like a kid again with the carnival games. Of course there's a huge casino... sadly I didn't win any money off the slots. but didn't play long. The icee land has delicious slurpees! They have a large food court with Burger King, Popeyes and all the popular fast food chains. They also had a lot of stores with good souvenirs that weren't too pricey. Everything was awful. It was a really bad experience My experience was absolutely terrible from the moment I arrived. The nightmare started in the parking area. The check-in process was extremely frustrating, and there were unexpected extra charges. The elevators were a complete disaster -- some were not working, and the lines were unbelievably long. Guests had to wait around 20 minutes just to have a chance of getting on an elevator. To make things worse, there was no air conditioning, which made the situation even more uncomfortable. The room was also very disappointing. The beds were uncomfortable, and the overall condition was far from what you would expect. Wow so for my birthday dinner - my boyfriend took me to the steakhouse heard the food was amazing and unfortunately it failed. The only great thing was the crab cakes. We ordered riveted on bone medium and it was very tough and presentation was nice but I wanted taste at that price to be sensational! Ordered mac and cheese for the kids and it was so bland. I had hope about this hotel! Unfortunately I should've trusted the reviews. This hotel is full of money hungry people trying to sign you up for timeshares, expensive yet disgusting food (pizzeria and the pick up stix chicken tasted old) best part about it was the Krispy Kreme but even the donuts on display had been sitting there all day until the next and never swapped. The internet there had my phone on SOS in most of the hotel, and the WiFi never works. Of course it's a casino so it's filled with cigarettes but I had to hold my breath most of the time. The sheets were stained and there was no free water , I couldn't even get a cup of water from the bar (money hungry) they tried to charge me $5 for the mini bottle of water. Honestly it's better if you check into a cheap hotel and then explore Vegas yourself. Like residence inn where they have free water all day, you can get coffee or tea as well as a free breakfast included in the stay for only $66/night. Why pay $90 on a room for a night when you can't get ANYTHING included, the buffet was shut down the entire time. You have to pay an extra $30/per person for the amusement park. Even the timeshare people said they would give us a ride after the tour and this ghosted us. The hotel is on the opposite end of the strip where there is nothing but crackheads and tweakers that are free to Rome hotel property. And there is nothing on this end ! Absolutely horrible hotel! It has a wonderful adventure land for kids and a wonderful little pool with a little waterpark. But they don't tell you that their rooms don't come with refrigerators, microwaves, or coffee machines, their furniture and bedding is really old and crusty! I stayed in the sky rice tower. I'm not sure if they have any other locations in here that are Better but this was absolutely ridiculous. I've stayed in motel sixes that have a fridge a microwave and a coffee maker not to mention in order to get to my room. I had to walk almost a mile through the casino! Went from the parking garage to my car to inside the lobby had to go to the second floor in order to go to a whole different side of elevators to go all the way through the adventure land with all the kids it was like almost Universal Studios on a Saturday; to the ninth floor. Then with checking in my reservation wasn't found and they were really rude to me when I tried to ask them in person to check my reservation. They have these kiosks that you check in through a computer yourself instead of being helped by customer service. This has definitely lowered the quality of Circus Circus because now you can barely get help and when you ask for it, they're super rude like condescending about why you should be even asking questions when there are self check in. But then my reservation wasn't found so I had to ask somebody for help and they had to search for it themselves. They seem super upset that they had to help me in person. Three different people. On top of it , for wifi, it doesn't work or connect or hook up! you have to call a customer service number for the internet company and set up wifi from there... but then it doesn't even work after you do all that. Everything was super off and stressful here. THEN! They messed up on the hotel booking and double booked my room and had to cancel one so they took the key card to the one I was staying in and had me wait for an hour in the hallway for security?!?!. I stayed one night at Circus Circus Hotel & Casino and it was honestly one of the worst hotel experiences I've had in Las Vegas. Our room was extremely outdated, run down, and not very clean. The biggest issue though -- we found cockroaches in the bathroom. That alone completely ruined the stay. No one wants to worry about bugs crawling around while they're trying to shower or sleep. When we reported it to the MANAGER, the only resolution offered was a $50 refund, which still left us paying $135 for a room with cockroaches. That's unacceptable. Just FYI per their "policy" if you experience this, you have to call for security (even at 3am when you saw the cockroaches) and then they will have you fill out a report and have you change rooms... I was unaware of this policy, which is why I only was refunded the $50... my mom was sleeping so I didn't want to wake her. It was late? I didn't want to disturb the other guests. Yet, i guess I'm at fault for not knowing their policy for cockroaches. We have 4 kids and have been thinking about bringing them to Vegas but we were trying to find a fun hotel for them. Needless to say, this was definitely not it. Las Vegas has so many hotel options at similar prices that are cleaner, updated, and better maintained. This property clearly needs serious renovations and better pest control. Unfortunately, I would not stay here again and would not recommend it to anyone visiting Vegas. read more

I mostly post food reviews but I need people to understand what they're getting at this hotel. I've been coming to Vegas for 30 yrs I've seen good and bad. But when I come with kids this hotel has never disappointed. Until now. Let's start of with the check in. They got rid of 90% of employees and it's self check in. We had 2 people there. The guy was very helpful and gave great service but before that happened there was a lady there who would not even acknowledge me I kept asking her questions and she just kept walking away totally ignoring me so I waited until The Guy was finished with the other Customer and got him to help me. Ana for the room we get upstairs. We got a handicap room ADA compliant and refrigerator for our medication. Our room is definitely not ADA compliant. The handlebars are arrested in the bathroom and no refrigerator. I called to get a refrigerator. They told me it's $25 per day, which is absurd I never heard of such stuff but they brought me one anyways after I told them that they were not in compliant with ADA. Their room is extremely hot. Their air conditioning does not work properly. We have it at 68 in the room feels like it's 80 all the time. That's not even talk about the hotel elevator that thing goes faster than a child grabbing food out of your hand clothes so fast before we even got through the door that it cut my husband's leg open and had to get medical assistance. Then we get in at 9 o'clock and the elevator to get to our room. It's not working so we had to wait until almost 1130 until engineering came and fixed the elevator so we could even go upstairs and you know how that is when YOUR TRAVEL traveling with four kids doesn't work very well and you're in a casino and they want to place all the buttons and they're not allowed to touch any of the machines and everything is closed so you can't take them Anywhere.. then we get to our room and the kids wanna watch a little bit of TV or play on the Eye practic calm them down we have no Wi-Fi. Why do we pay resort fee? I have no idea they want $50 a day for Wi-Fi but because they're a guest and they were so nice they made it $10 a day for having Wi-Fi again. Why do we pay the ridiculous amount of resort fees? I don't know so Wi-Fi is not included in the room. Nothing is you don't get anything. There's no shampoo. There's no soap. There's no conditioner. There's no body wash. You have absolutely nothing in this room. It's basically a bed bedsheets and no air-conditioning that doesn't work that's about it so if you guys are planning to stay here with your family, you have to basically pack your own shit, but I recommend even if it's a little bit more expensive go to the better hotel. At least you don't have to come with all your hygiene products. Most resorts fees include Wi-Fi and other amenities. This one does not include anything they want to charge you for every little thing that you have in the room. Do better or circus. I've never been so disappointed in you in the 30 years. This review is STRICTLY ABOUT THE ADVENTURE DOME AMUSEMENT PARK- we did not stay in the hotel at all. We decided to take the kids to spring break in Las Vegas and one of the fun places the kids wanted to go to was Circus Circus adventure dome. Basically for each child you pay $60 for unlimited rides all day so after buying the tickets, the kids loaded up on their rides and had a great time. A lot of the shine comes from the amazing workers there who actually have a great time having fun! The highlight of this entire outing was Alex! What an amazing star! She shined brightly, was over the top friendly and really made our experience the very best! You can tell that she has found her happy place! Thank you Alex!!! Two huge roller coasters, good rides for the little ones and a Starbucks right outside for moms and dads- hands down a great place to take kids when you don't want to expose them to the strip! read more

The shittiest hotel in the world would still outclass this place and I once stayed in a room where the sticky carpet undulated with every step. THERE. IS. BLOOD. EVERYWHERE. I'm not adding pics but believe me, if you look, there it will be. The aircon doesn't work, there is dust and grime everywhere and despite being "offered" the pool closes early and there is no fridge in the room. I'm not exactly sure what needs to be changed besides, like, everything but the lobby smells, the Casino smells, our room smells (like super cheap cologne) and MY PILLOW SMELLS. BAD. What you have posted & sent to your pre-paid guests versus what you actually do (following provided directions), do not match. Creates layers of stress on whats supposed to be a vacation. A complete waste of time for me to call a number that is a complete dead end. They should've been over prepared to have maximum capacity guests as this hotel has been around forever. "New Years Eve" busy is not an excuse. They SHOULD have mobile/app check in. its literally 2026. PROS: Friendly staff, Free Parking, location being ON the strip/ close to some venues/Resorts World- North Stirp etc. CONS: Carpet needs to be cleaned regularly or maybe upgrade to tile throughout. The worse hotel I've ever stayed in! Table stake smell, the hotel is dated back to the 80's and needs heavy renovation. The shower wall paper was peeling and the shower had a slow annoying constant drip. The cherry on top is one bed had more than 20 strand of hair in the covers. It's a little more on the ... how do I put it ?.. not so "bougie"casinos. Comparatively, it reminds me of the EQC IN Tacoma and Fife Washington... in that it feels a little seedy. This place is a paradox... it's giving Chuck E. Cheese energy inside a Grand Theft Auto loading screen. Didn't stay in the hotel so can't speak on that. But walking through the casino felt like I was dodging side quests. Crowd outside was wild. Folks arguing in flip flops. Someone's uncle asleep by a slot machine. Whole thing had that chaotic "don't ask too many questions" vibe. But... once you step into the kids area, everything flips. Legit felt like we got dropped into a different building. Arcade is stacked. Games for all ages. Big screens, neon lights, the whole vibe. It's like they knew the casino was sketchy and said "let's bribe the kids with unlimited Skee-Ball." And it worked. Staff was posted up everywhere. Surprisingly attentive. Nobody looked tired or annoyed, which is impressive considering the energy outside. Even the claw machines weren't robbing us too hard. Me and my mom booked a room online to go to Vegas for a day to hangout at circus circus. When we got there, the parking spots were crowded and the poles in between the parking spots were too big and the cars that were in between it made it impossible for parking my car in a parking spot. When we got to the check in lobby. A crowd of people were surrounded by the kiosk and there was only a minimum of 2 people that were working customer service in which when we tried to ask them for help. They gave us attitude and also gave a very snarky attitude towards us when all we were trying to do was get our room keys. When they finally printed out. We got sent into the skyrise tower. When we got to the elevators. It was filled with people just waiting for elevators to open. And also filled with people coming in and out of the elevators. It was a constant struggle because there is a screen right next to the elevators where you have to type in your floor number and wait at a certain elevator car. It took about 5 minutes for each elevator to come through. When we finally reached our floor. The room was not what I expected it to be. The room was outdated and the room was surrounded by walls and buildings. Making it impossible for you to see the Las Vegas strip. The amenities was limited. The room didn't have a coffee maker, a fridge, an alarm clock, and there was only one soap bar. The internet was also limited because you have to pay to have WiFi, the air conditioning filters were very dusty and filled with dirt and the phone service was very poor inside the hotel room. but the amenities were very limited and the view was limited too. Although everything else in circus circus was very thrilling and exciting like the adventuredome and the food was amazing. Just the rooms and the customer service weren't what I expected. Would definitely recommend not staying if you're looking for an updated budget friendly hotel or if you're in Vegas for more than a day. read more
