I just wanted to share this information with other yelpers out there that Ciro's pizza is an unexpected spot to find some really good pizza, hot wings, and salad (my order). I just moved to the neighborhood and thought I would venture out to try Ciro's pizza for the first time. The best part is Ciro's pizza has excellent customer service. I have to give a shout out to Ariana who helped me with my order over the phone and gave me a call that my order was done early. I think most places would just leave it and wait for you to arrive. I took my kids here for an impromptu birthday pizza and man was I surprised. My husband ordered this giant pizza, basically the size of our table, and we mad it a supreme! The giant pizza was delicious, crispy, and man did we have a whoole bunch to take home! The cheese was ooey gooey, veggies were still crisp and fresh, just the way I like it! All in all a great pizza! Top that with a pitcher of Heffenwiezen and call it a day! They had a nice little arcade, great for keeping the little ones busy while we waited for our gigantic friend. We didn't have to wait long though. It was out before we knew it. The kids were amazed! I gotta say though, the giant slices are not meant for little tummies, but still a lot of fun to watch them TRY to pick up their slices. The price on this giant pie was extremely reasonable. You cant go wrong with a large group. Next time I'm in BP, I'll be sure to pick up another pie from Ciros! read more

I am a big fan of this place. First of all, the service is excellent no matter how busy it gets (and it can get mighty busy and noisy, depending on the sporting event). The server visits your table several times. The food... I love pizza so I might be biased. The pepperoni pizza is the best. You can taste all of the herbs and spices that make up the tomato sauce. The crust is just perfect. I must say that I am not a fan of the taste of the sausage on the sausage pizza. Just a personal opinion. The Spaghetti is the best. Plenty of sauce to make sure there is enough for the whole table. I am a repeat customer. read more

My best friend lives in the area and I was visiting. We were craving pizza and Ciro's was the only one open especially during this pandemic ... other then dominos (but I'm so over dominos) I was looking for something authentic and saucy! And WOW I was extremely satisfied with this Pizza! It melted in my mouth, I had a veggie pizza and it was just the right amount of topping servings. We also had the pepperoni pizza and it is by far one of the best pepperoni pizzas I've had- it's up there with the New York style! I also tried their wings and love the hot sauce they use! We have been coming to Ciros for over 30 years. I am disappointed at the owners rudeness and lack of customer service. Although the waitresses are awesome.The food is good, small servings, compare to past owners, the prices are not. I keep reading about this Alexus server on here and either they canned her or we didn't get her because I had an excellent experience with our server. We were sat immediately and assisted with any questions regarding the menu. Drinks were served promptly and food wait was quick considering they had two birthday parties going on simultaneously. Pizzas are definitely on the larger side (more bang for your buck). Crusts/dough is a little bland but they make up for it with their generous amount of cheese/toppings. read more

I've been going to Ciros since it was called Ricos... yeah that long ago. My family and friends followed to their remaining location in Buena Park, their service and quality of food was always exceptional, known for their generous portions, giant pizzas and giant schooner beer! Sadly it's changed owners several times, this last time has been the worst... who thought it was a good idea to give tiny ass cups of ranch and then charge .75 for additional dressing! I mean come on I'm paying close to $8 for a salad... not to mention the salad portion is reduced and the dressing is watered down! One thing is inflation and cost of living... but this is just plain decline in all aspects! Probably not the best time to cheapen out, I'm definitely not making the drive anymore. And I know a few people who agree with me! read more

Surprisingly I didn't really enjoy the pizza here. I was really hoping Ciro's was going to be the end of my pizza search but I found it to be mediocre. Not good, not bad. It didn't really leave an impression on me and I found myself losing interest mid-slice. Maybe the magic is in one of the combo pizzas? The pizza just seemed really bland and flavorless. In any case, probably won't be returning for the pizza. My boyfriend on the other hand ordered the submarine hot sandwich and was really pleased with his choice. The fries were perfectly seasoned, crispy, and delicious. I actually abandoned my pizza to pick out of his fry basket. The sandwich itself got a nod of approval. All the ingredient were really fresh and the sandwich was quite large and substantial. Complaints aside, I must say this place has some impressive portions for the price. $6 for an 8 inch sub and $12 for a medium 3 topping pizza. For reference sake, their medium is the size of a pizza hut large... maybe even a bit bigger. They don't skimp on cheese or toppings so if you're looking for a less greasy Costco alternative this place is worth a try. read more

That I remember,this use to be a family business back in the day,and their location was in between Cerritos and Hawaiian Gardens. But I guess they moved! First time back since the 90's,and the pizza is still great! Their staff was decent,I did feel our server Tyler was attentive to my family and what we needed. But it does seem the staff need a little uplifting and a bit of training as far as their hospitality! The entire place was gross. It seemed like the front of house was trying to get it together. We were seated in the mostly empty restaurant, and our drink order was taken. Then another lady came to ask us what drinks the other guy was getting. Um... Ask him?? She wasn't rude per se but she wasn't exactly friendly either. We received exactly one menu for four people. We eventually placed our order after a little deliberation while the lady stood there staring at us all trying to read it at once. The drinks came and all of our iced teas tasted like old, unsweetened root beer. Kind of like they switched the taps or something and didn't clean it well. In any case, it grossed us out so much we canceled our order and paid for the drinks. 4 drinks for $10!!!! In retrospect we probably shouldn't have even paid for them... I have to say I am highly disappointed, I've come here for YEARS. Since I was a kid this was our after knotts stop. I remember the pepperoni on the pizza be spicy and delish. So now I am a mommy and wife, and brought my kids after knotts. The only thing worth re ordering was the fries. Delicious fries. But just okay pizza, they definitely use different ingredients now. Not only is the pizza great, they have Keto friendly options for my wife; like the Cauliflower Crust pizza (her favorite) and the Anti Pasta salad... Called in an order to feed about 30 people. Ordered two parties, one medium, and two salads. This order is pretty big so you would think when picking it up the cashier would be courteous and attentive. Right off the bat, gave attitude. When I asked for to go packets of pepper and parmesan, she just gave me a weird look.. Like it was an outrageous request. When we opened up the Italian dressing for the salad, more than half was gone... There was a hole in the styrofoam container. Save your money and go to Pizza Hut. Pizza was cold, and you have to wait for 10 minutes for a refill , and you will have to end up getting up to get your own. If you ask for ranch, it will never come. Maybe we should text the servers next time because they refuse to get of there phones, that's how you will walk out happy. read more

Arcade games and TVs around the place. Wish I had placed the order before grocery shopping get with my Lil sis. The price is great for the portion.
