Just moved in down the street, thought I'd try to find a new regular pizza spot and was hoping on this to be it. After placing my order, after over an hour I noticed people that came way later were starting to get their food. After a hour and a half I was informed they forgot to put my pizza in. I used to work here in the mid 80s, this is where I actually met my wife! 35 years later, we still visit Ciros, but boy have things changed! After the ownership change, we noticed smaller portions but higher prices on some of the food. Less wings, half a garlic bun, no more creamy italian, etc. As long as the food tasted the same, that's fine Ater Covid, we went there last week. I was never a fan of the pizza, but the lasagna, mmmm! Well, that has changed! They no longer use homemade meat sauce, it now tastes like canned tomato sauce, yuck!!! This did it for me, and wife agreed. The end has come for us and our Ciros visits! We still have the fond memories of where me met, but we're saying adios to the place and food. I hate to give terrible reviews but this place needs some help. The service was exquisitely slow, and sub par as was the food. We kept making jokes about not letting the waitress get away because we might never see her again, kind of like my pen. She finally comes to take out order after like a 1/2 hour and doesn't have a pen. I am not letting her get away again so I offer up mine which she then kept. When I went to order I let her know I was vegan and asked what there was and I got the worst answer "we have fries" So this is very indicative. I asked about getting bread sticks and a side of marinara but this seemed to be a little to confusing so I ordered a cheese-less pizza and a salad. I never got my salad, but at least I wasn't charged for it. The pizza was ok the topping choices were a meat heavy so I got mushroom, green peppers, and onion, They arbitrarily added tomato slices, so thank you but more then a scattering of mushrooms would have been better. It would be great to see this get a makeover and modernization. There was an empty salad bar that they should be utilizing all the time. Offer a few modern items on the menu and just clean the place, it wasn't dirty it just really needs a refresh. The location is great close to Knotts and family oriented neighborhoods. Train the staff on speed, accuracy, and helpfulness. read more

This is a cool little local pizza spot. Pricing is very reasonable, food was good & came out quick. Jasmine is a server there & is awesome, she's very attentive, friendly, provides excellent service. She made it a great overall experience.. Ask to sit in her section!! Only bad thing, games were a little outdated for the kids. OMG! Where have I been that I've never had this pizza?! because of their IG ad (and Yelp reviews) I was convinced to give them try. I have been craving the yeasty/beer flavor for a while and hadn't found any local place that was making it happen for me. I was a bit disappointed that I ordered extra pepperoni & extra cheese (everything was super tasty btw), but when I received the pizza, it looked like they forgot the "extra". Not familiar with buena park but I was craving pizza. I saw the reviews but it is better to have a genuine experience without expecting royalties like most bad reviews. Pizzas here are made to order so it will take up to 15 min to get your fresh made pie. Be patient these aren't precooked obviously! Haha anyway. We tried the Ciros Supreme and it was very delicious flavor and extra cheese our fav. Thank you to our waitress for being for being very polite and taking care of us. My family and I have been coming to Ciro's for years, ever since they had the location on Pioneer and Centralia (sad it closed a while ago) I love it here, it's nostalgic: Coming here after soccer games and even meeting a High school boyfriend while playing the arcade. The pizza is pretty good, I love their sauce... kinda greasy lol the beer is always served in frosted glasses, so they are nice and cold. Family salad with garlic bread is good, but their ranch is watered down. Although we enjoy the food, my family and I always say we aren't coming back because the service is horrible (but we always come back)! Most the young servers don't care and it takes way too long to be serviced, even when it's not packed. The reason why I'm giving it a 4-Star instead of a 3-Star is due to my experience yesterday! Our server Sam was totally AWESOME! He was so quick and attentive and it was pretty busy! He came to check on us just enough times and even updated us on our pizza. Bring back the old owner Mike. Customer service is horrible and has changed so much. We have been coming here for over 15 yrs and has always had great service. Sad to leave a negative review over them charging for soda that was flat and even the waitress verified That it was as well. We talked to the Owner who said he wouldn't take it off the bill since it was halfway gone. After a full day of baseball, it should've been all gone as well as the free refill. $80 worth of not so great service, food and drinks. TERRIBLE SERVICE!!!! I found this place on yelp and despite lots of negative reviews I decided to try it anyway. I live in Alhambra, therefore I drove 24 miles to dine here with family from Anaheim. The girls who work there are the epitome of BAD SERVICE. They walk past your table, won't make eye contact so you can't ask them for anything. If you do happen to be there attention, they literally roll there eyes and huff and puff about it. Wow, right? The pizza was good, but I would never return simply because of the service. My husband has been wanting to try Ciro's pizza for a while and found them on IG. I placed an order online, called to make sure we could get bbq sauce on our wings instead of the regular franks hot sauce and they said yes, just put it in the notes. Everything was great, one of the best pizzas we've had in the area. My son often has texture issues and doesn't always like the cheese, dough, sauce ratio but he had no issues and ate two slices which is definitely a win for us. We ordered the family deal which includes a large pizza, salad, wings and fries. The quality and customer service is top notch. It's a whole in the wall type of place in a random plaza, but my family discovered it when we lived in a house that was couple blocks down. The price is great and the service is good. Why go to a chain pizza place and overpay for pizza when you can get an even bigger, tastier, handmade pizza for the same price? My younger brother and I used to come here randomly or just get there pizza take-out style, so I've had there pizzas for a good year now. It's just cool to see a 26 inch pizza that exists in OC. We recently went here for my graduation dinner and we had a party of about 25. We ordered 3 - 26" pizzas, a bucket of half ravioli and half spaghetti, family style salads, and wings, and pitchers of soda. To feed everyone we only spent less than 10 dollars a person, and that's after including the tip. It's a great place for BIG PIZZA PARTIES, but not the best for pastas, or anything else.
