Clean, good service and good pizza. The cheese bread was fantastic! Definitely will be one of my go-to local spots.

We got the calamari to start. For mains, we ordered lobster ravioli, pasta di la zia, and pasta alla davide. Finished the meal with tiramisu. Calamari- Fried to perfection with a nice chewy interior. The seafood was fresh and tasty. Served with a side of marinara and a lemon wedge. Lobster Ravioli- You get big ravioli pieces filled with meaty lobster and pink sauce. The sauce is creamy and pairs well with the mild seafood. Pasta Di La Zia- You get juicy shrimp offset with crispy pancetta pieces. Arugula and mushrooms add a freshness to the dish. Finished truffle oil in a creamy sauce. Pasta Alla Davide- You get a creamy pesto based sauce with juicy scallops and shrimp. The seafood is fresh and in generous amounts. Finished with goat cheese and sundried tomatoes. Tiramisu- This was a perfect way to end the evening! You start with a strong espresso flavor balanced with creamy marscapone. A classic dessert! Great experience overall!

I think this is on everyone's speakeasy list!…read more Make sure you make a reservation It is very packed. They offer bar seating and booth / table Follow the wall from Randy's donuts and Look for a wall of Japanese sake/beer barrels and head towards the restaurant - the rolling boil. There will be a check in host and stand there and wait (it will be located up against the wall with a big secret door right next to the hostess station) It's very New York inside. When I first came in Spring with the amazing, Karen, the menu and everything was great Now, I took my friend who was in town from Nashville and it was a brand new theme. It's the great Gatsby. Even our waitress, Jasmine was dressed for the occasion. I would say this place is known for Absinthe. They have cocktails featuring it or you can get one of the huge apparatus (huge and glowing green) which, if you are into it? I highly recommend. Just one of the huge apparatus makes one regular drink. Or, what Karen and I did, was split it and make it into a shot for the both of us. The waitress comes out and shows you how it works and goes over everything. Karen, who I came with, was a pro and knew her way around it. She showed me the ropes lol. Honestly, if you are here? When in Rome. Go all out and try it, since it's where they shine here. They took off a few menu items and added some themed drinks. ( a couple new champagne themed drinks) They have big entree items but I suggest small bites and sharing and mostly coming for the drinks. There's no bathroom inside, so you do have to leave the bar and go to the closest one (over behind Randy's donuts) and then enter the speakeasy again Both times coming here I've never had an issue. It's a small, packed place. And yet they still have the cocktails flowing and the food coming out in a good time. So the food and drinks are good Atmosphere is lovely. Service is good. Especially for it usually being very busy in here This place is located inside the Anaheim packing district. So I suggest hitting up a couple other spots before or afterwards for some more food or drinks P.S. it is very dark In here. They never cared if we used our light to look at the menu. However, they do not want flash photography They also do not strictly enforce a dress code (my friend from Nashville asked) however, they suggest dressing business casual and not too underdressed

I really liked the clarified strawberry drink, similar to strawberry and cream. I ordered a drink after that unfortunately forgot the name (photo attached with a tall glass) but there was no special cocktail craft taste to it. Just hard liquor taste and undrinkable :( the bartender kindly offered another drink. Unfortunately none of the food was the least bit good. Steak and fries was ordered medium rare and cooked to medium well with what seemed like no seasoning was on there at all. Crab cake was just ok and the slaw beneath it was drenched in a vinaigrette that was just sour and unpleasant. And the Mac and cheese, as we were very hopeful and looking forward to, was probably the blandest Mac and cheese we ever had. We asked the lady bartender for salt and she handed us, no exaggeration (and you guys will probably think I am) a salt shaker with 10 grains of salt in it and said "looks like there's a lil something you could still get out of there" My jaw dropped. But yeah. The shredded meat on top of the Mac and cheese was cooked beyond the point of edible. That one was unfortunately sent back bc we just couldn't eat it. We were bummed over all mostly about the food.

I like how they implemented marble to some of their furniture like the bar table and the pillars. We got two pasta, wine, and free complimentary bread. Yeah, I know it's very carby, but the flavor profile is all there. The Rose pasta was my favorite because it had a nice touch of creaminess and savoriness. The bread that kinda looks like a Naan is fluffy and soft on to chew on. Doesn't hurt your jaw like most crispy bread. The wine was okay, I forgot the brand, but it was too dry and not bold enough for our palate. Still a good cleanse for each bite of the noodles. If you got a date night, or wanna take your family here, It's totally worth it! My girl and I had a good time vibing and munching, lol.

Everything we ordered was well-made & flavorful. My main criticism is the service on busier days. The food can take quite a while to come out. The staff is kind, but could be slightly more attentive on busier days, as it can be harder to flag them down for help. I've also ordered takeout a few times & they're more timely, usually having it ready within 30 minutes. The dining area has a nice atmosphere, clean modern look but the bathrooms don't match quite match. Being a lady, I personally prefer a cleaner bathroom however it is accessible & that's all you really need for a restaurant. Overall, I'd recommend the food, especially the bread & dipping sauce.

Well, fast forward to this year...and HE was the one who suggested we finally give it a try! We are SO glad we listened to him! The pizza here reminds me of the kind of pizza I would eat in Italy. It tastes authentic, flavorful, and beautifully simple. If you're looking for a traditional thick-crust pizza where you pile on whatever toppings you want, this probably isn't the place for you. But hear me out...TRUST THE MENU! Order what jumps out at you and let the ingredients speak for themselves. We've tried the Contadina, Funghi e Salsiccia, and Rocco's Pie, and every single one was delicious. But hands down, the Vespa is the STAR OF THE SHOW! And then there's the homemade spicy honey. OH.MY.GOODNESS. It is SOOO good that we now order a side of it just so we can dip our other pizzas into it. Trust me...you need it! We're kicking ourselves for waiting so long to come here, but I guess better late than never! Thank you, Fuoco, for giving us a little taste of Italy and for making our son's recommendation such a great one.

Everything tasted like it came straight from your grandmother's kitchen in the old country. The cheese pizza is hands down the best I've had in SoCal. Simple, perfectly done, and exactly what a great cheese pizza should be. The salty white clam pizza was incredible, rich, perfectly salted, and packed with flavor without being overpowering or overdone. Every bite was on point. The baked ziti tasted like a legit family recipe. Deep, comforting flavors and seriously nostalgic. You can tell there's history behind the food here. This instantly became one of our favorite spots. The service was great and everyone was super friendly. We started asking about the history of the place, and they gave us the full rundown, which made the experience even better. Just the sound of appliances going. We got the meat ravioli, the bolognese gnocchi and the meatballs. The food was exactly what we ordered. Just food. You aren't missing anything and I can't explain it well enough. It's just what it is. Italian food. It filled us up, which is what food is suppose to do. I guess what I'm trying to say is that you aren't missing anything by not trying this place. We ate it but felt nothing afterwards. If you want good Italian food with unique recipes, look elsewhere. Otherwise, you get what you get here. Just generic Italian food, nothing special. The cook/chef guy looked like he knew what he was doing but I really wanted to try something that he would cook. It felt like he was forced to cook exactly how the owners want it. Generic bland Italian food. Overall if you and your loved ones are craving Italian, I'd look elsewhere. Olive Garden provides far better food and atmosphere.
