My husband and I have moved out of NYC for a few years now and there isn't a week that goes by we don't miss our random slices of New York pizza. Made a quick stop in New York recently and found our way to Ciros of Floral Park for the first time. From the pizza display to the service to of course the taste, Ciros was everything we love about pizza from New York. We ordered a few random items which included some plain slices, sausage slices, garlic knots, and a stromboli. Everything was great and fresh! Dough was cooked to perfection and toppings were generously fixed upon their respective menu items. The staff was friendly and quick. The shop was clean. Pricing was fair and justified the product. Solid, quality food. We were more than pleased with our first visit to Ciros and would definitely visit again when in Floral Park. read more

Ordered on door dash for pick up from work 2 blocks away. 2 stars is because it was clean and the people were nice but honestly 2 stars is very generous. I was so excited about this pizza but was highly disappointed. It was like chewing on card board. They didn't bother to heat it up for me. And if they did by the time I got it, it was freezing because they never hit "ready" so I came at the time they approximated it to be done. I ordered through grubhub. I ordered 2 slices of bianca and they sent me regular pizza. The slice of bbq chicken was dried like it was left out all day and reheated. Tough and dry. Bianca pizza is white and the photo is what they sent me. Again, dried out and burnt. I used to order here alot. I liked their food and pizza. Disappointed this trip. read more

Made it home and the pizza worked like elax....I just made it to the bathroom to avert disaster. Ciro's is a hidden gem in this neighborhood. From the outside, it looks like a regular pizzeria, but as soon as you step in and get a glimpse of the food, you start to realize this place is more than an ordinary pizza joint. First, we'll start with the pizza. As you walk up to the counter, you have your choice of classic NY pizza, Sicilian slices, and then some more exotic slices, such as white, buffalo chicken, and penne alla vodka, if you're in the mood for something a bit different. I am a classic NY slice guy, to the point where I'm snobby about it, and I can tell you definitively that you will not find a better NY slice of pizza than one of Ciro's oven. They use all the ingredients you grew up tasting in a NY slice, along with the gold standard Baker's Pride oven. You can't go wrong with 2 slices and a coke. Now let's get to the true hidden gem part. One of Ciro's owners, Giuseppe (or "Joe"), is from Calabria, Italy. In the back of Ciro's, you will find an intimate dining room that will make you feel as if you were transported to a small restaurant in Little Italy (or trattoria in Calabria). The menu offered matches that of a family-owned Italian restaurant (which this is), as opposed to a typical pizzeria. For my dinner, I had a classic slice of pizza (because I had to), followed by a dish of penne alla vodka and a side salad. Everything was perfect. My uncle had the eggplant parmigiana with a side pasta and swore that would be his regular dish. My aunt had a sautéed shrimp and pasta dish that was so big she had to take half home. On our first trip to Ciro's the service was excellent, atmosphere cozy, and food outstanding. This is your perfect neighborhood Italian restaurant. read more

What happened to Ciros? Ciros was always my go to pizza place! They were always on point with service and food! Especially the hero's. I don't know what happened.. but recently their service has been absolutely HORRENDOUS! It's a shame. From calling and place the order- a girl who answers has a hard accent and often asks to repeat the order because she doesn't hear or isn't paying attention. She never seems to understand the order or know what's even on their menu. Delivery was always in a just amount of time- any day of the week. Now.. you wait over an hour for a regular pie on a Wednesday night at 6:30. It arrives cold and without the 2 liter Pepsi that you now have to wait for the delivery guy to come back with. We ended up ordering a take out order and we ordered plane Pizza Pie. The wait time indicated was 30 minutes. We went there few minutes early as were we're walking there and to our surprise the food was ready by the time we got there. It's a nice family owned restaurant and the servers were Uber nice and gave kids free garlic knots as well. read more

I would like to start saying that until tonight we were very good customers. Unfortunately, we are no longer. Tonight, we went there with another family so there were 7 of us in total. The waitress gave us the plastic menus and we received our food. Everything was fine until we received the bill. The waitress had given all 7 of us the plastic menus . None of us received the paper menu which was the updated one. We were all in shock when we received our bills. The other family's bill was a difference of 25.00 . Ours was a difference of $5.00. The owner came over to us and said he recognized that we were good customers . He was busy with take out so he told the waitress to give us a paper menu which she did not. Instead of making this right in any way he did nothing. He could have charged us the price on the plastic menu. He could have also simply given us a credit of some sort for our next visit. Maybe just have split the difference. Something, anything would have been acceptable. Instead he blamed us ! How are we supposed to know that his menu prices have changed if you don't give us a correct menu. read more

I order this on Door Dash one time, and I just ordered again within one week. I stumbled on Ciros when a pizza parlor I like on Union Tpke didn't accept cash, even when I was about to buy a whole PIE! So, I looked around for buffalo chicken pizza and there popped up Ciros on Door Dash. The best part of it is that you can even order by the slice. Of and it tastes AMAZING. Rivaling then old spot. There was genuine Italian music. You are given garlic knots which are hot and yummy. They even refilled the basket later on. The soups came first. I had lentil and she had the rigatoni. Both were tasty and filling. I had the pasta fiorentina and the hunny had the baked lasagna. I am an Italian food veteran.. and I have to say both dishes were the best tasting respectively that I've had in awhile. Even with all the food we ate and had to take home we still didn't hit the 35 dollar mark for the restaurant.com requirement haha. We ordered dessert which I don't know how we made room for lol. i really liked ciros. although, the boyfriend who grew up in the area said they're not as good as they used to be. i can only imagine what the food was like back then. i bet i would drool all over myself from that kind of goodness. thankfully for me, that didn't happen. i got a slice of bbq chicken pizza and thoroughly enjoyed it. all the flavors were exactly as what i expected in bbq, chicken and pizza. the man behind the counter even asked, as we were leaving, how the food was. he seemed to really care about serving quality food. major thumbs up. read more

Pizza is good. Special slices are good too. Everything is a bit pricey. Service is terrible and person who attended me was extremely rude while giving me dirty looks at the same time. Not worth the price especially when chicken roll isn't fully cooked. There are much better places to go nearby so don't bother if you're looking for a legit pizza place. Papa Ciros on Union Tnpk and New Hyde Park Rd blows this place out of the water with better service and much better food. These two places are not affiliated in any way. I have had the pleasure of attending not 1 but 2 parties catered by Ciro's. The chicken parm was AMAZING!! If they can make a chicken parm for 50 people taste phenomenal...I can only imagine what it must be like to order! Juicy, flavorful...perfectly breaded goodness. The garlic knots have the perfect dough to garlic, olive oil balance without manipulation ( you know how sometime you have to fish for another dunk mid way). Haven't tried the Pizza yet but I'm salivating already. Overall---just super freaking awesome. read more

New favorite pizza place. After living in Bellerose for some years, we finally tried this mom and pop pizzeria and it are so happy we did. Ciros has become our new Friday night pizza spot. The Caesar salad chicken slice is phenomenal. Their large plain pie is always fresh and tasty. The buffalo wings are delicious as well. They make a wonderful house salad and the dressing is very tasty. They also offer free delivery. Tax is not included in the menu prices. read more

Best place to get pizza in Floral Park. Some people say "go to Village Pizza, it's better". But I say go to Ciro's. Village Pizza's pizza is always burnt and the cheese slides right off. Ciro's pizza always stays together and tastes delicious. Ciro's also has decently sized tables to sit at and a little party room in the back. They don't have the best parking, but walking is good for you anyway! I would totally recommend!!! read more
