I used to really like their pizza but the last few times we ordered it wasn't as good. Too much cheese and under cooked. Decided to give them another shot last night and decided never again. I'm not exaggerating but I would compare it to Ellio's. It was TERRIBLE!! Ordered a small Sicilian pie and a few other things for delivery. Came super fast and food was piping hot. When I opened the box it was just a pool of cheese. The dough was again under cooked and not thick at all as a Sicilian pie should be. The sauce, which makes a pizza good or bad to me, was disgusting. Really sweet and no seasoning. Probably the worst sauce I've had on a pizza. I will NEVER order from here again. A great neighborhood shop serving up one of my favorite slices of pizza in NY. It's a nice corner shop on a little strip of stores in Franklin Square. It has that classic pizzeria feel, and the pizza is fantastic. The staff is solid and welcoming too. I usually go for the plain cheese, but their specialties are great too. Their buffalo chicken slice is fantastic, and highly recommended. The crust is super thin and perfectly cooked. It's a little chewy, crispy, but not overdone. For the plain slice, the sauce is super flavorful, seasoned and savory, and not sweet. It's the perfect amount and thickness of cheese, again flavorful and a little salty, and not greasy at all. Prices are also super reasonable. They aren't open too late, so check the hours first if you're looking for a late dinner or night snack. read more

This pizzeria is a hidden gem located on a corner of a strip of stores on Franklin Avenue in Franklin Square. There is street parking. They have tables outside for dining ,weather permitting. The staff is always welcoming and willing to please. They do have delivery, if that is your choice. This is our go to pizzeria. There are so many choice of different pizzas. My favorites are margarita, white, upside down Sicilian, vodka sauce and of course a regular slice. The crust is perfect. Also a favorite of mine is their cheese calzone. The dough is just right, plenty of cheese and not doughy.. Chicken Marsala, veal or chicken parmigiana, seafood fra diavolo is so delicious. Seafood salad is another one of our favorites. We also like the penne Ala Vodka. There hero's are also very good. One of my family's favorites are meatball, chicken or eggplant parm hero or potatoes and eggs hero. The soups are also delicious. My favorite is minestrone and tortellini soup. Compliments to the chef, pizza makers and staff. They also serve cannolis, zeppoli and Italian Ices. The prices are very reasonable. Good spot in Franklin Square. Recently renovated and it looks great. Vodka slice is my favorite for sure. They also always decorate the place for whatever the season is. They have lots of different slices with all sorts of toppings. Located right on Franklin Ave so street parking is available. There is also some parking along Fentworth. The pizza is soooo good. I ordered the plain, Buffalo Chicken, and the Chicken Parmesan slice. All 3 were perfection. The Buffalo was not too spicy with enough of a kick to enjoy, the plain was a perfectly balanced slice of cheese and sauce, and the Chicken Parmesan was also a great blend of breaded chicken with little bits of extra sauce. Service is great and there's a decently sized seating area with large tables. I'll definitely be back for my pizza fix! read more

They make the best cheese pizza I have ever had. That is not an exaggeration. I've had New York slices my entire life and had many cheese pizzas. But something about the combination of the dough, sauce, cheese and crispiness of the crust is just dynamite. Ordered pizza and 2 other items. The delivery came WITHOUT the pizza and waited about 15 minutes for them to return. When I opened the zucchini sticks there was only 6 small pieces. When I called them back I was told only 6 pieces come in an order. Seriously?!?! Almost $9 for 6 small pieces. Breading fell right off and the zucchini itself was wet and not fully cooked. Pizza might be good but service stinks. We ordered in tonight (Friday) and were going to eat 2 pasta dishes and a side of meatballs. The food came out to the front together but was split up before arriving together at our table. One dish went to another customer and one to our table. We waited to see if the other plate was coming but when it did not, went to ask what was up. They were befuddled and we heard them ask for the other plate of food. Of course when it arrives 3 minutes later it was not hot. It was warm around the edges and cold in the middle. Went to complain about it and the owner had the worst attitude. He threw it out and they brought the side dish which we hadn't already gotten. He asked if we still wanted it, but he then took it and threw it away as well. Now my appetite had soured so I asked them to wrap up my plate. We had an argument with the owner about how to bring an entire order to a customers table and he was going to give our money back, supposedly, but said he doesn't need our business. I am sorry, I thought the customer was always right? Not in his world. So the last plate was thrown away instead of wrapping it as we asked. As far as I know I didn't get a refund and we didn't eat. Crappy attitude for a small business owner! We will not be going to this place again and giving him any of our money for a piss poor attitude like his. Stopped in with a groupon Saturday night and the place was empty. Apparently, there used to be another pizza joint here before Little Enrico's, but I never even noticed it. I wouldn't have noticed LE either if it hadn't been for the groupon deal. First, I have to say, I loved their pizza oven and the giant shark on the wall. We had a large pie with pepperoni, an order of garlic bread, and a 2-liter soda for $15. The counter-person was very nice, and gave us no grief about the groupon, which I appreciated. When we got our carryout order, the first thing I noticed is how light the pizza box was. I assumed it was because their pizza must have a very thin crust. When we got home and started to eat, I realized that the pizza crust was thinner than I have gotten elsewhere, but also the sauce and cheese were lighter too. The pizza was a little skimpy--as was the garlic bread. I started to feel that I didn't get such a great deal with this groupon. That flavor of everything was good, but overall I was underwhelmed, which made me sad. I've been looking for a new pizza joint to call home, but this isn't it. I will probably give LE one more try in the future, before writing them off for good. read more

When I stated the price was on the sign, I was informed numerous times that it's an old sign and they have to go to what the register states. SERIOUSLY?????? After being a loyal customer for that length of time, you want to rip me off for a bottle of soda? Keep your cheapness and the money that was charged to me!!!
