Been driving by here for a couple years, finally decided to stop and try it. This place doesn't look like much from the outside but inside it's really nicely decorated. The food is just as good. What a great little Florida gulf coast style place. Food was fresh and taste was outstanding. I had the catfish and shrimp basket, very good! I had fries on the side which were fresh cut same day and fried to order, and pinto beans which were very tasty. The wife had the catfish with fries and slaw, she was planning on bringing some home but ended up eating it all. We shared a cup of gumbo on the side which admittedly was missing some of the veggies of traditional gumbo but had outstanding flavor. The place was very nicely decorated and the service was quick and friendly. Overall a place I would highly recommend and it will become one of our go to places. read more

I've stopped here twice last year and decided to come back. We ordered a double burger combo and 3 grilled shrimp tacos. We sat in the restaurant and waited for our order. We've watched as the employees did not use a single glove the entire time our food was prepped. We even saw a young lady and gentleman empty the trash in the seating area and back kitchen without gloves and returned to the kitchen to drop fries into the fryer. God bless the owners of this restaurant because their taste buds have to be turned OFF. THIS IS SOME OF THS WORST FISH AND SHRIMP I have ever eaten. My score is purely based on the taste, size and cost. I ordered the shrimp and "catfish" filet basket with baked potato. Which cost $10.99 with an up charge of .75 cents to substitute the fries for a baked potato. Everything was prepared fresh, the baked potato was hot, but could've used some more time in the oven. For the price everything was under portioned the catfish "filet" were definitely strips. The coleslaw shouldn't be served ever again as it was awfully bland and disgusting. I forced myself to eat the shrimp simply because I paid for it. Honestly the Valero gas station in Greenville across from Graham Park has better fish and fries for half the price and double the portion size. I have had ciros a handful of times, but have only ever got the catfish! It is delicious! The fillets are a good size and always cooke perfectly. Crunchy on the outside and a great fish center! Their coleslaw is also really good. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because I am not a fan of their fries. They are kind of thick so that makes them soggy. read more

Man I'm not going to lie, my husband and I have been looking at this place for the past year and finally had the time to go in and try it out. The outside and inside of the building is super clean, the staff is really friendly and ready to listen to what the customer wants. My wife and I have been trying to get to Ciro's for quite some time. We finally made it and super happy we did. We both had the 6 piece catfish, and a cup of gumbo. The 6 piece catfish is actually two fillets cut into strips, they must be really big fillets, because it was plenty of catfish, and I am a big eater. Okay for fried seafood in the middle of small towns (aka no other options), it is pretty good. Expect to smell like a fryer if you plan on dining in. So maybe not for a 1st date where you have plans later on. The decor is very white thanks to the fluorescent lighting and the paint. It's very wide and open but tables seem to fill up pretty fast. You place your order on the counter, grab ur number and wait for ur food to arrive. It took us almost 30 mins for a tilapia po boy and a platter. The food was tasty and price was fair. My husband and I just moved to Greenville, I've been craving seafood. We went to Ciro's tonight. Great little find, right off bat you feel like your out of town. Great vibe, great atmosphere. Very nicely decorated and super clean. Good simple menu, we had the fried oysters and 2 orders of oysters on the 1/2 shell. To go we had a couple of their pies. I would have loved to take more pics, the place was so cute. The service was great and the most important part, the food was Awesome. The French fries and hush puppies were so good the breading in the oysters was great. If you are a seafood lover check it out.
