Great experience at this restaurant that started with ambience. It feels like a seafood restaurant…read more Service was excellent. They utilize team approach where someone else brought the drinks and food runners brought the food. Manager checked on us to make sure everything was good. Our water glasses were never empty. I ordered a Bloody Mary that they returned with a shrimp and celery stick. Nice touch. I specifically went here to try their soft shell crab and it did not disappoint. Others in the party had lobster rolls and the fried shrimp basket. I forgot to mention that we had the appetizers , crab hush puppies and fried oysters and both were excellent. We also tried the bread pudding and key lime pie for dessert that we really liked. Overall we would definitely return.

Definitely recommend a reservation! Our 30 minute estimated wait time turned into 50+ minutes. The…read moreambiance inside is lovely and i love the different fish options. The mocktail was delicious. Our crab fingers appetizers were in a tasty sauce. The salad could've used more flavor to it and fresher lettuce, but i appreciated the amount of Parmesan cheese on top. I personally thought the presentation of the salmon was too much and a bit odd. I wish there was more sauce (or at least a side of sauce). The risotto was too bland, but the brussel sprouts were tasty and lemony. The salmon had a great crust, but it was too undercooked for me and wasn't the best salmon I've had. The filet mignon was ordered medium rare, but too us it seemed a lot more rare and wasn't seasoned well. The mashed potatoes were delicious. Our server was kind and helpful.

It used to be a fresh seafood shoppe, Then? They offered people to cook their seafood for them. Then?, they added tables, Then? They invited a very famous Chinese chef to cook for them. Now? The small shoppe is always packed with a 30 minute wait-time. Good selection of menu items including vegetarian, beef, chicken, pork (but no goat or lamb). Mostly Chinese/asian clientele so it must be very close to NOT "Americanised" cooking style. Who needs all the sweet not sassy or spicy sugar-laden unimpressive dishes anyways?. Round shell Clams - tasty, not salty, pudgy-clams!! Long shell "Razor" clams - Black-pepper beef-uh (Medium) very tender, good meaty portions. Mapo Tofu - FIRE ON A PLATE (not too bad for the white-guy: I love it! I just had to get extra napkins for my sweaty brow) Belacan string beans - (me) how is it?, (wifey) "sooo good, the best!" Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5 Reservation Varies by time / day Noise level Quiet, easy to talk Group size 3-4 people Recommendation for vegetarians Somewhat recommend Vegetarian offerings Not sure Vegetarian options Very small place with limited but always crowded seating. 5 - 4 seat tables 4 2 seat tables. Hopefully they expand to bigger place soon. We arrived at 1:30pm & was informed it would be a 30 minute wait. Dietary restrictions I would NOT come here if you have dietary restrictions. Parking space Not sure Parking options Free parking lot Parking Just park in front of the cleaners they're pretty militant about their parking spaces. Also the rice they gave out .. really they could improve and give more rice. Would have given 5 stars if they had given out more rice.. and rice isn't expensive either. Next time gonna ask them not to use that much black beans.

The phone number(s) given direct one to a general call center. While I'm sure those employed there are knowledgeable, I am more comfortable speaking with people at the actual store, who I have found to be very knowledgeable and helpful with suggestions via their personal experience. In my attempts to call at least three different stores, I get the "Third Degree" as to WHY I wish to call the store...with THIS particular store (Preston and Belt Line, Addison, TX), my reply that I preferred to speak with someone at the actual store was not sufficient, and I was told they DON'T HAVE A NUMBER! RIDICULOUS! In another situation, it took me quite some time convincing a call center rep to get the Wylie, TX location's number until I gave the reason that I was an EXCELLENT customer, but that could quickly change if I was not given the local number! It was only then that it was, grudgingly, given. Perhaps "Corporate" needs reminding that Central Market, Captain Dave's, Hirsch's Meats, etc. are just short jaunts away and I can directly speak to those at each actual location with ease. Again, no complaints with the stores, but I'm sure I'm not the only one who has received the "Third Degree" treatment and I hate to think the stores will suffer for it. In a world being overtaken with AI, much can be said for "one on one" CUSTOMER SERVICE that those at corporate levels appear to have forgotten and place too far down on their list of what is truly important.

She was informative told me the entire history of the restaurant and has a true passion for what she does The food absolutely makes! This is literally transported me back to the oceanfront on the seashore. The best lobster I've had since the area! I loved that they actually had their proper migonette served with oysters that were chilled and properly shucked... I spent twice the amount of money, a big name and this almond pot defend and restaurant and teach all of them! Walking out the simple effective decorated restaurant really felt like I was gonna walk back out to the beach and feel spray hitting my face. Well, done! We heard about this place & since we were in the area so tried it for lunch…read more.. We were seated immediately near the kitchen. Rolando was our server he was attentive & gave us good service. We ordered cioppino & rainbow trout grilled with mashed potatoes & corn as our sides. Trout was finely prepared nicely grilled & seasoned. Loved the corn with chipotle seasoning it went very well with the fish & potatoes were good. But Cioppino was not how it's usually prepared the broth seemed very light , seasoning was not up to the mark & the mussels were ok ... had better mussels in other places... it's a seafood place so we were expecting nice juicy mussels but the meat in clams & mussels were extremely small.... That was a let down... we did take the leftover broth to have it later but it didn't tasted good ( turned very sour) so threw it away... Maybe it was one of the off day but we felt disappointed... will try something else if we visit again.
