My partner and I came here after being given huge estimates from a dentist in San Diego. After…read moredoing a ton of research and reading all of the reviews we decided to use Washington Dental Clinic. JP was the concierge that helped us through the whole process and he was great. It was a super easy walk across the border. Their taxi picked us up and dropped us off. Had a really nice coffee at a charming coffee shop next-door. All in all just a really nice day and a fabulous experience. (who says that about a day going to the dentist !?) Plus! I went in there with an $800 estimate and my partner went in there with a $3000 estimate and we were told that both of those were unnecessary so we were both able to leave with a $40 cleaning. It's not often that a dentist office is a good experience for me but this definitely was!

My wife has gone through agonizing pain since we visited trust dental on april 23 , 2026 . Before our visit , we had emailed them xrays to make sure they understand what needs to be done , she needed bone grafting and after healing , implants and crowns for 2 teeth in her upper right . We negotiated a deal for $5600 . Upon our arrival at their office , they came up with a $9100 invoice , further telling us that if we pay cash , we could get it down to $8000. They told us that she needs grafting in her lower left side of her jaw as well as upper right . She had implants in that area and her two crowns which we had with us , needed to be secured back in . the dentist was adamant that the implants need to be secured by grafting again in lower area. It required for them to put her to sleep and called in an anesthesia tech ( not a doctor ) and she had oral surgery for more than 3 hours , we were told to return in 4 months , we paid them $2500 and they even charged us $25 for medical pass !!! . She was in sever pain days after , we called them and they said its normal , after a few days , pain had gotten worse so we drove back to mexico and the dentist told us that some food was stock in that area and that caused the pain , told us , she has cleaned it out and send us back after a short visit . The pain got worse , we decided to visit a local dentist in Irvine , CA ( oral surgeon specialist ) who advised us that the area is infected and they should have never operated the grafting in the lower area since it was not necessary at all and now she has open wounds and blisters in her mouth and she has to endure the pain for 6 weeks and it will cost us $3000 more just to undo what they did in mexico and if we are lucky , she will heal afterwards , they have no clue of what they are doing , we visited another specialist and were told the same . I reached out to the dental office in mexico and was told , we are sorry !!! They trick you by being nice on the phone , being polite to get you there and will harm you possibly beyond recovery . Stay away from trust dental.

But dr Ricardo was amazing and actually managed to fix the issue and save the tooth from root canal. I am truly grateful and loved the staff and all I met there. My friend just accompanied me as it was my first time going to Tijuana and walking in and she lives nearer in San Diego and does trips there more frequently. She ended up getting a cleaning and night guards the same day-- gratefully they could fit her in around my appointment. It was such an excellent experience for both of us! Highly recommended. There is genuinely not the words in either the English or Spanish dictionary to describe the…read moreabsolutely HORRIBLE HORRIFIC TERRIBLE job that was done at this clinic. I was given 4 Front Teeth Crowns, giving the Dentist valuable information about my dental history including the fact all 4 front teeth were FRAGILE because of a previous accident and all 4 having root canals. The first incident was when she was working on my teeth (shaving them down) her husband barged into the room and spoke to her right while I was under the table. So unprofessional!! He then starts openly harassing her asking how much longer and that he had the car waiting. She immediately started rushing and did a horrible job putting in my teeth temporary covers "temporary crown" that was made from a mold of my natural teeth before she shaved them down. The mold was jagged and painful to my teeth and gums for several days but I endured because they were only temporary until my crowns would be put in. The second Incident was when she was doing my X-rays she did not offer me the Lead cover to protect my thyroid from the X-Ray Gamma Rays. It was only provided the cover the following appointment when I asked for it. The third incident occurred when she was taking off my temporary Crown Cover (mind you this thing is all one mold) She once again seemed like she was in a hurry and rushed to take it off and in the process Snapped off a large chunk of my natural Tooth!! Also these things are already tiny since that is how they are prepped for Crowns. I felt the pressure and extreme discomfort from her mutilating my tooth and her response was ohh I bet your gums hurt that's normal. I immediately protested that my tooth WAS NOT CHIPPED BEFORE! To which she immediately starts change the subject and put my Crowns on to try. When I see these crowns I almost burst into tears of RAGE. They looked like pieces of square gum from the store. All one color completely not natural, and a florescent White. Again I begin protesting that this was NOT what I asked for that these were horrible. I also told her I had a flight to catch and wasn't sure this could be fixed in time. She assured me it could be! And she proceeded to fix the "little channel" she made on my tooth NO YOU SNAPPED PART OF MY TOOTH OFF CALL IT WHAT IT IS!! And once again a fake mold was placed on my teeth in the interim. She assured me the crowns would be fixed and sent them back to the lab. 2 hours later the crowns were back!' Fourth Incident. Similar to the third once again... what is the point of the molds? To protect the teeth right!? THEN TELL ME WHY ALL OF MY TEETH WERE CRACKED THIS TIME!!! At this point I was fed up and just wanted my crowns on and to not miss my flight that would cost me over $700 in Airfare and personal costs if I missed it. Fifth incident I agree to the crowns being better because I was convinced that turning the light overhead on would make them "look worse than they are" THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN MY FIRST RED FLAG when she didn't want to turn that light on. I got them cemented out of anxiety and frustration. What other options did I have at this point!?! Get another fake mold and lose the 10% of my teeth I have left? I got the crowns on and told her there was gapping behind my Most left tooth my tongue could feel, she just said she's polish it but it wasn't fixed I can still feel the gapping. I also told her my teeth feel tight and uncomfortable. She said it was normal and would go away. It has not gone away my teeth that should have no feeling HURT!' So crowns are CEMENTED. I asked to use the bathroom at this point where I turned on the Circle Vanity Mirror. My heart immediately sank when I saw my new teeth were significantly different than my natural Teeth. Still looking awful although improved. At this point I was DONE. I was defeated and so genuinely AFRAID. I was scared for what was left of my teeth and decided to accept the consequences of my actions. The outside of the building was enough to tell me this place was not good! I didn't listen to my gut! Please don't make the same mistake. I vowed I wouldn't let these horrendous people touch my teeth even again and left in tears after paying in full for my treatment. I will be finding a new dentist to fix the horrible job they did on my teeth. Please pray for me. I need it.
