The glue residue from them trying to glue the airbag shut that I apparently did when grocery shopping

Zero stars! Bought a vehicle from them on 8/9 got myself into a 30k loan. I went out of town for a family emergency WITHOUT the vehicle on 8/10-8/11. 8/12-8/13 I drove the vehicle for work noticed a few issues. 8/14-8/15 Citi Auto was closed. 8/16 I went in there to speak to Joe and tell him about a few issues I was having. Issues are as follows. 1. Wind noise on highway speed. 2. AIRBAG IS SHOWING UNDER STEERING WHEEL. 3. Windshield nozzles are spraying the hood not the windshield. 4. Steering wheel shakes on highway speed. Joe said this list looks easy and I need to bring the vehicle back 8/25 when his mechanic is available. He said before the appointment take the car to a tire shop and have all the tires balanced and see if that is the issue for the shaking. 8/24 I had an appointment at Walmart had the tires balanced but the found a big bubble on side wall and said it needed to be replaced ASAP. I paid $48 out of picked for the balancing. Then drove straight to Citi Auto and told Joe he can have the Jeep for the next two days so he can make sure the list is completed and I can go back to work Friday 8/26. Joe called me a couple hours later and said it was done except for the tire that I have been driving two weeks and they will not replace the tire. Fine! I picked up vehicle nozzles still spraying hood, there was glue residue all over the dash from them trying to GLUE MY AIRBAG SHUT! They did nothing on the list. I'm mad now I call my finance company they did try to help but Citi Auto is refusing to do anything except trying to remove me from their front office. On 8/25 I took the vehicle to Jeep they told me that the airbag is PARTIALLY DEPLOYED AND NEEDS TO BE REPLACED $1800. They also said they have no idea if it is functional or not and they do not understand how the light is not on. Joe's reasoning for not doing any thing is that I damaged the airbag by putting all my groceries under my steering wheel while driving home from the store and it damaged the airbag . He also told me I should just put a piece of Scotch tape to close the airbag and it will be fine. I have made complaints and reports waiting for responses and next step is taking legal action against them. I am a single mother been working hard on my credit and they just made me lose everything I have worked for but I am a fighter and I will not give up and I will not stop until the do right by me!!!!!!!!

I had a very disappointing experience with DeLand Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram…read more I went in, agreed on a deal for a used car, and planned to pick it up the next day because I had to work. I had already sold my previous vehicle so I could use the money as a down payment. Instead, I waited five days and had to make two phone calls before I was finally told the car had been ready, and I was made to feel like the delay was somehow my fault--even though I had been told the vehicle would be ready. When I picked up the vehicle, it still had auction writing all over the windshield, making it obvious that it hadn't even been properly cleaned or prepared for delivery. I brought it up to the salesman, but he didn't seem to care or make any effort to address my concern. When I reviewed the paperwork, I found I had been signed up for a tire package that I don't remember agreeing to, especially since the vehicle didn't need new tires. When I called the dealership, the person at the front desk came across as dismissive and didn't seem interested in handling my concerns professionally. A few months later, I returned to the dealership with my brother, and instead of addressing my experience, I was encouraged to delete my review. I wasn't interested in removing an honest review when I still felt my concerns had never been resolved. To make matters worse, just seven days after purchasing the vehicle, the battery failed and I had to spend about $200 out of my own pocket to replace it. A manager eventually contacted me weeks later and offered a complimentary detail as a goodwill gesture. I accepted the offer, but after that I never heard back. Overall, I felt let down by the communication, the condition the vehicle was delivered in, the customer service, and the way my concerns were handled after the sale. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this dealership.

I purchased a **2023 Kia Sorento** from this dealership in June. The vehicle was sold as **dealer…read morecertified**, came with a warranty, and had just over 60,000 miles. I was excited because this was my first newer vehicle, but unfortunately, it has been one problem after another. Within **two days** of purchasing the vehicle, the air conditioning stopped working. I made an appointment and brought it in. Vincent initially told me the repair would cost **$260**. After questioning the charge, I called my husband, who has extensive automotive experience, and asked Vincent to speak with him. My husband explained that the A/C system is sealed and that the pressure readings indicated there was clearly a leak. Suddenly, the repair went from costing $260 to only my **$50 warranty deductible**. While I appreciated that the issue was ultimately covered, I was left wondering why I was quoted $260 in the first place. Just **three days later**, while driving at highway speed with my children in the vehicle, the car suddenly flashed a warning message and **shut off while I was driving**. The dashboard displayed a message instructing me to put the vehicle in neutral and press the start button. It was terrifying. I had to read the message multiple times before I understood what it was telling me to do. Thankfully, I was able to restart the vehicle safely. When I took the vehicle back for an oil change, I immediately asked them to check for the fault code. I was simply told they couldn't find it. About a week later, the **driver's exterior door handle broke**, leaving me unable to open the driver's door from the outside. I now have to climb across the inside of my own 2023 vehicle just to drive it. I was told the repair would be covered with my **$50 deductible**, but the part would take about two months. Two months have passed, and I have **never received a single phone call or update** about the repair. This has been an incredibly disappointing experience. Spending **$26,000** on what was supposed to be a certified, reliable vehicle should not come with this many issues so quickly. Ironically, my **2015 Nissan Sentra** gave me far fewer headaches than this "certified" vehicle. The only positive part of my experience was the sales staff, who were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the service department has completely overshadowed that. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a dependable vehicle or reliable customer service. **Buyer beware.**

I took screenshots of the offer before I went in. I'm glad I did because when I was done with my oil change they tried to charge me twice what the offer was. $59.99 they tried to charge me 109.99 When I showed the screenshot I was told"why didn't you say that when you came in". I said you sent me the offer! Why should I have to tell you about it when I accepted it online and set an appointment for it online. Then I was told that it would be $68.?? I asked for a print out of the bill. The advisor said that they sent it to my email. ( As of 12 hrs later I still haven't received the said email). I asked again for a print out. I was told "we have a new system that sends everything electronically". I asked a third time for a print out. When I finally received the print out it had a 10% shop supply fee!!!!!!!!! That was on top of parts, labour and taxes I asked about the fee and was told it's an environmental fee. The government sets environmental fees not Coggin and the fee definitely isn't 10% So then I read the disclaimer on the printout that said they charge a 10% shop supply fee( not environmental) to the customer. I asked why was I being charged for shop supplies? Shouldn't that be apart of the cost of parts and labour? The service advisor was obviously getting upset with me and mentioned that it was only $3.15. I said perfect then you can pay for it. The customer should not have to pay a shop supply fee on top of parts and labour. Any brake job is costing unsuspecting customers $40-$50 more for their service. If you don't get a printout most customers wouldn't even notice the additional fee. It's unethical and malicious! Coggin Hyundai is taking money from customers on every servic

After 2 very poor purchase experiences and an unsuccessful 3rd attempt last year at Gary Yeoman…read moreHonda in Daytona, I had decided I had enough and for our 3rd Honda purchase decided to try Coggin Deland Honda. Went in Monday morning, made the deal without much hassle, went back to work, and picked up the vehicle that evening. They had to get a black on black from their storage lot or sister dealership otherwise I would have driven out with it right then and there in record time (comparatively speaking). I remember my 2 previous purchases with GYH had a lot of back and forth, took ALL day (my first purchase at GYH literally took the entire weekend) and were just painful, miserable and exhausting. I think their strategy is basically to beat you into submission. Truly befuddling compared to my Coggin experience. At Coggin, I had Sam as a Sales Rep (good cop) and he was a little more involved than the sales rep from GYH which meant I didn't have to deal with the Sales Manager (bad cop) as much. In all 3 of my experiences at GYH, the Sales Manager(s) were very rude, unprofessional and disrespectful (even as a repeat customer) so tbh I had a short fuse going into Coggin. When it came to talking price the sales manager put up a little fight but (smartly) knew when to back off so we agreed on purchase price and trade in value without too much BS. The finance guy also was also pretty laid back and was "no pressure" in terms of add-ons after the fact which I appreciated. So overall, I would say it was a fairly painless experience all things considered. In terms of a sales rep, I'd like to think that whoever you get at Coggin will also be as professional, polite, respectful and thorough as SAM as their overall corporate culture (on this visit) seemed more relaxed than GYH. So hopefully he is a representation of the rule not the exception. There's a lot of negativity that comes with buying a car at GYH. Not so much at Coggin. I can only hope for positive experiences with the service dept. Time will tell..but based on my experience thus far I would recommend giving Coggin a shot. Best of luck.

Ultimately the work was excellent but they didn't keep promises and we're not honest. Did not feel respected or valued. For me it was a new car purchase and I suppose I had higher expectations for new car service at dealer prices. Unfortunately Coggin Deland missed an opportunity - and I'd say lived up to the most common "car dealer" conceptions. Sad. Good cars - all of the components were there for a good visit - they just fumbled the ball on their own 1 yard line. Bad service from the beginning... but still value the Honda and the tech's skills. Very poor execution on the service end. This may just be a "Deland Honda" thing or it may have just been one bad visit - but it was none the less.
