The reviews were awesome and the car had a clean carfax report. 4 days after I purchased the vehicle I started to get a leak on the right passenger side floorboard. Per the sticker on the car it said "purchase as is" I called them anyway and was told they would take care of it at no cost. They really care about the people who purchase their vehicles and want everyone to have a good working car from them. They fixed it with no issues and I'm back in my car less then 12 hours later. When I arrived, they rode my bike for a "test ride," but then refused to allow a water test of the boat they expected me to trade for. That's not how fair deals work. If you expect to test someone else's equipment, you should be willing to provide the same opportunity. Wasted time, gas, and effort dealing with this place. The owner of this company is the most dishonest person I've ever done business with. The brakes went out 3 days after I purchased the vehicle. The car isn't safe to drive and now needs $1500 brake line replacement. The owner persuaded me to conduct the transaction under the table in cash. Our experience with Citi Auto was great. They had the car we wanted, so we made the trip there to see it. Joe showed us the car and we took it for a test drive. Decided to buy it. It is a beautiful car at a fair price. Melissa was very efficient in taking care of the paperwork. There were three issues with it after we got it home. Joe took good care of us! It took a couple weeks to get parts in, and they have a great mechanic who completed all the work. You have to remember when you're getting a used car, it is a used car and bound to have a few issues. We are very pleased with the car, the price, and the people there are great. Zero stars! Bought a vehicle from them on 8/9 got myself into a 30k loan. I went out of town for a family emergency WITHOUT the vehicle on 8/10-8/11. 8/12-8/13 I drove the vehicle for work noticed a few issues. 8/14-8/15 Citi Auto was closed. 8/16 I went in there to speak to Joe and tell him about a few issues I was having. Issues are as follows. 1. Wind noise on highway speed. 2. AIRBAG IS SHOWING UNDER STEERING WHEEL. 3. Windshield nozzles are spraying the hood not the windshield. 4. Steering wheel shakes on highway speed. Joe said this list looks easy and I need to bring the vehicle back 8/25 when his mechanic is available. He said before the appointment take the car to a tire shop and have all the tires balanced and see if that is the issue for the shaking. 8/24 I had an appointment at Walmart had the tires balanced but the found a big bubble on side wall and said it needed to be replaced ASAP. I paid $48 out of picked for the balancing. Then drove straight to Citi Auto and told Joe he can have the Jeep for the next two days so he can make sure the list is completed and I can go back to work Friday 8/26. Joe called me a couple hours later and said it was done except for the tire that I have been driving two weeks and they will not replace the tire. Fine! I picked up vehicle nozzles still spraying hood, there was glue residue all over the dash from them trying to GLUE MY AIRBAG SHUT! They did nothing on the list. I'm mad now I call my finance company they did try to help but Citi Auto is refusing to do anything except trying to remove me from their front office. On 8/25 I took the vehicle to Jeep they told me that the airbag is PARTIALLY DEPLOYED AND NEEDS TO BE REPLACED $1800. They also said they have no idea if it is functional or not and they do not understand how the light is not on. Joe's reasoning for not doing any thing is that I damaged the airbag by putting all my groceries under my steering wheel while driving home from the store and it damaged the airbag . He also told me I should just put a piece of Scotch tape to close the airbag and it will be fine. I have made complaints and reports waiting for responses and next step is taking legal action against them. I am a single mother been working hard on my credit and they just made me lose everything I have worked for but I am a fighter and I will not give up and I will not stop until the do right by me!!!!!!!! read more

There was an active wasp nest in the inside rear of the vehicle. Thankfully, my friend found it as I am allergic to them. Vehicle had too much trash in the seat compartments. my wife and went to look at a jeep wrangler that was listed as "like new" and posted on the jeeps windshield "like new". the jeep had been repainted to black which the paint was peeling off in several areas. i stated if any more paint peeled off my daughter would be embarrassed. the rep stated my daughter was spoiled. there was also an oil leak. we did give a lowball offer and the rep said he couldn't go below the advertised price only the boss could. the only way i could see the boss was to commit to buy the jeep that day and give a deposit. i asked again for their lowest price and a carfax and was denied unless i met his demands. i stated clearly it would be a cash deal we would decide by monday and we would not leave a deposit. the rep refused so we walked. red flags were waving. i have purchased over 30 vehicles in my lifetime and would not recommend this dealership to anyone. extremely unprofessional read more

Being totally transparent, I did not purchase a vehicle from Citi auto, I purchased a vehicle from a private seller who did. My name is Dennis Quantz, and I purchased a low mileage 1996 Ford Mustang from my co-worker, Whitney Goss. The vehicle runs great, and is in great condition. Whitney, as a last minute decision, decided that she was going to sell this vehicle to me. We made our transaction, and everything went smooth accept for one thing. The title. She gave me the title that she received from Citi Auto, which I could not use. I was told by the tag and title office of Volusia county, as well as the state DMV office that to remedy this situation, we would need to speak to the dealership that she purchased the vehicle from, and that they would be able to resolve this issue. "They are obligated by law to do the title work", they said. They were correct. Whitney intended on moving to North Carolina with the car, so she never officially got the car registered in Florida, which is fine. She does not need to get the car registered to sell it, She just needs a title so that it can be transferred over to me; the person who would be registering it. Whitney and I together went up to the dealership to get this process started, and they were quite unwilling to aid us in this process. They told her that she needs to get the vehicle registered in the state of Florida first before she could get a title. This is entirely false. We could have gotten an electronic title, and they did not allow us to do that. Citi auto is completely aware that this car was willingly sold to me, and that my name is on the title that they gave her in the first place, and she has now left the state. I have had this vehicle for 6 months now without the ability to register it, and everyone that I have talked to told me that I need to contact the dealership, which I have to no avail. They said things to me like "We could have helped you out if your woman didn't have such an attitude problem" and "We have wiped our hands of this issue" You can't wipe your hands out of title work that you are obligated to complete. I will be filing a complaint with the state DMV office, for being lied too, and for Whitney being charged money that she should have never been charged. My name is on the title for this vehicle. I have a bill of sale, and an ample amount of proof that I have purchased it from Whitney. Yes, it was 6 months ago, however it was 6 months of talking to every agency that I could speak to trying to determine how I can get this car registered that will otherwise sit in my driveway and rust until it falls apart. It is actually hard to comprehend how complicated of a mess that this has been The dealership made the mistake by telling Whitney incorrect information that has gotten me to this point, and that is all there is to it. I expect this to be resolved, or there will be legal action taken. She had already paid to have a title mailed to her so that it could be transferred in my name. This is a conversation that has been had with the owner, and I would like to continue with this process with or without her present. read more
