Doing a transition that locks members out on the first of the month is extremely stupid, then they didn't even transfer my correct information so I had no way to verify my account on the new app on August 3rd after being locked out for 3 days because they only had one way to verify my identity which was a phone number I haven't used in 9 years! No other way to verify like email, social security number, old account number, or password. Nope! So I call their customer disservice line to get access to my account. After being on hold for 20 minutes the CACU representative have no idea how to help me, he didn't know a single thing, I asked to get access and he said a representative will call me in about TWO business days, TWO business DAYS! Are they insane?!?! Well, I'm writing this two business days later and STILL NOTHING! No calls or emails from them. I can't even pay my Visa credit card on time. I asked him if the checks I've been writing will bounce, HE DIDN'T KNOW EITHER! And he couldn't care any less about my concerns. I tried to get these issues escalated, he wouldn't offer that. They've moved all customer service to Florida, they have a terrible website and app, deposits often take hours or even days to show up, they stick VERY tight to a 9-day hold on large deposits, they question requests as if members are children. They are condescending, not focused on member service, and treat all members as if they're 20-year-olds in hourly jobs. While the staff used to be very nice and kept me coming back, they've lost their best branch people, moved everything to their terrible app, and no longer feel trustworthy. After 33 years, I'm changing financial institutions. It's going to be a hassle, but, oh, well.
