I feel I should warn anyone to avoid this branch. So much I made this dormant account active. I no longer trust the Glendale Boulevard branch with my finances--and would deter anyone else from doing so. It has predatory practices. Details below: The bank lured me into a credit card; a hard inquiry was made into my credit in error by a banker on the auspice of a credit limit being very easily adjustable. When asked to correct the mistake, assurances were given the card company would do so. Over the phone. The card company sends you back to the bank. The bank denies they made any error whatsoever. This branch effectively sells you a credit without full consideration of its fine print; your problem is assured to be easily adjustable or fixable. When proven otherwise, after long delays, promises of help are deferred, then deflected, then dodged, repeatedly, leaving you saddled with ramifications. The hard inquiry remains on your record for *years.* You are left under the impression that, "You can keep the card or throw it away, but the damage is done so you might as well keep the card." NOW, the response below will put more onus on me to inquire again. So the the Glendale Branch can deny and try to explain away their mistake. read more

I was one of the customers at this branch for many many years and recently, I had really bad experience. I opened an account trusting the new account person here, as i had known this representative very well for many years. I was promised X % and to my surprise that did not show up in my account. I have gone back and forth with this person and it has been months nothing is resolved . This new account representative is working at Eagle Rock Branch. This is the only bank that I never have to wait in line, unlike the other banks that I bank at, (wells, chase....etc) I like coming here because it's fast and there is always parking near by. Only bad thing is the parking validation, it's always a hassle when things take a little long, but I have no trouble getting it validated at the bank. read more

Worst Banking customer service I have ever had. Had to wait a ridiculous amount of time, for assistance, twice. Staff , and particularly the manager of this branch are not attentive to customers. They evidently do not know how to manage or allocate their resources. I got the distinct impression , by the absence of working staff and lack of helpfulness of those there, that this branch is actively trying to discourage people from banking in person. Just on-line., Something I was unable to do in this case.This is not my branch or my bank but I had to deal with an issue here, at this branch, that should have been fairly simple, but took waaaayyyy tooooo loooong. Worst banking experience EVER. I'd like to give them no stars or negative stars. When my father passed away in December 2017, he had all of his assets including annuities, mutual funds, and various accounts not totaling more than about $500,000 with Citibank. There are three successor trustee's, so we opened a trust checking account with Citibank and liquidated all of the assets into it for disbursement. There are five beneficiaries on the trust. One of the successor trustee's was my dad's lawyer who, as expected, charges almost $100 just to open an email. We have ended up paying this lawyer over $6000, and much of it due to Citibank's ineptitude. They have shut down this account three times, having given one letter of notice with me having complied to their terms so the account wouldn't be shut down. They shut it down anyway. Three times!!! Two of the times, they cut me a check for the entire amount. Then they ran around and opened the account again, where I deposited the check they wrote me. Keep in mind, all of this money came from Citibank in the first place. This last time, they cut me a check, even after I responded once again to their form letter, and they assured me it would not close. I am beyond done. I am looking into litigating compensation for the lawyers fees. By the way, the lawyer who is in the same building as Citibank, also left Citibank after they shut down his firm's accounts including payroll. What a nightmare. Citibank sucks. read more

Very incompetent staff. I had to wait for almost half an hour because there was only one person available for new accounts. (I was there to open a new account for my son. I have Citigold). At the time there were only 2 other clients and maybe 5 staff. The personal banker was not very knowledgeable and his information seemed contradictory to what I had read online. I later called citibank and was able to get clarification and open a new account for my son over the phone. And today we went to the 414 Central location and got much better service. read more

This isn't the first time I will tell you people. Stay far far away from these mainstream banks. All they are and all they do is seek fees. I mean they expect you to maintain a minimum amount or they charge you?? Really I'm giving you my money I labor for and you use to make money by investing and your gonna charge me??
