There was a wait even at a less busy time, so I'd recommend reserving your spot in line before going (I think the My Verizon app lets you do that). And their customer service reps on the phone are horrible, too. One major issue, i chatted with 297 agents (i kept track). The second major issue, i chatted with 87 agents. NOTHING WAS RESOLVED ON BOTH ISSUES. I have also went to Ubreakifix twice, once for each issue. HORRIBLE!!! HORRIBLE!!! HORRIBLE!!!

If I had Apple Care, it would've been a $99 deductible. I paid less than that deductible cost alone for Empire to replace my charging port! 10/10, I would absolutely recommend coming here for this, and the charging port isn't something Apple looks at when you trade in a phone. I decided while I was there to get a new battery as well since mine was two years old and only charging to 79% of the original capacity. Cheaper than Apple AND the phone recognizes it as a genuine Apple battery. The technician was friendly, answered all my questions, and finished in less time than quoted. The business was also speedy to reply to my quote request.

I fixed the front screen and the back screen. I somehow made it to their shop and the guy there told me that with the price I paid for the screen, (which he did not tell me until two weeks later when my phone stopped working is not the highest quality) and that this happens sometimes and I can pay $50 more to get a screen where this will not happen . I did say I was just fixing the screen to send my phone in and get an upgrade, but I was not told that this would happen, and it has happened multiple times since then where the screen stops working and I have to restart my phone. So I just think other customers should be aware of this. Definitely pay the extra $50 but that also seems like something they should've communicated when I purchased this.

So, I had numerous files on this drive that I wanted to recover. I bought a new drive to hold the files and took both the old drive and the new drive to Westcoast. I explained what I wanted and they provided a rough estimate of the cost that depended on how damaged the old drive was. They would look at the drive to see what the issue was and call me within 3 days. I got the call and luckily the old drive was still accessible so they would be able to transfer the files to the new drive. The cost was less that I expected. I had checked several businesses in the Los Angeles/Orange area and there services were a couple of hundred dollars more for basic data recovery. The new drive has the files and I am glad I found Westcoast. They also repair computers and mobile phones.

Wait times are pretty lengthy as each customer signing up or transferring data to a new phone takes quite a while. Anyways, when it was my turn, Chris helped me transfer my phone number from Verizon and set me up with a new plan via my employer discount program and a free iPhone 17. He was knowledgeable and spent time explaining all benefits in comparable plans. He even put screen protector and case on my new phone. Prices are inflated but I did it out of convenience. Overall, I am happy with my new mobile plan and new phone. T mobile offers so many perks that Verizon doesn't. And most importantly, no interruption in my cell signal or service
