I arrived at Verizon today to let the Store Manager know about her employee who violated code of conduct and ethic policies by adding an unauthorized line and phone to my account back in December when I visited the store to upgrade my sons phone. I came across the discrepancy this month when I received my Verizon bill text and the bill was about $78 higher than normal. I tried explaining this action to the manager who I later found out her name was Glenda, but she took up for the EE saying maybe I didn't know what I wanted when I visited. So I asked her well my son has the upgrade but why do I show an ADDITIONAL LINE ON KY ACCOUNT FOR A GALAXY THAT WE HAVE NEVER SEEN OR POSSESSED. Glenda stated she would call Verizon support to see what she could do to help, but instead she sent the EE out to me. He sat down and started telling me "yea I'm not sure about all this ya telling my manager but let me explain what I did and how I did you a favor by adding an extra line to your account". I told the employee that you did something I didn't request or authorize and it's causing me an expense for something I clearly don't have because I don't do androids. So who has the Samsung and is using the phone ending in 9799 that's all I want to know. He couldn't answer me so I told him send your manager back because I didn't ask to speak with you I was instructed by corporate support not to speak to anyone but the manager. Glenda comes back validating the employees decision because she says how he did it saves me $5-$6 a month Then she says she can't return the phone to redo the process and promotion bcus the promotion ended and I would have to deal with having the Samsung 9799 line on the account even though I don't have the phone. Which now causes me the customer to be penalized because your employee made a decision to secure commission on a sale that shouldn't have been completed on my account She goes to the back area and converses with the employee Anthony. She comes back with the Verizon corporate support rep on the line. Verizon phone rep wanted to know where and what's goin on w the Galaxy showing for phone ending w 9799. Glenda says ya know this is my first interaction with the customer I don't know what happen to that phone. The rep says is your employee there right now because I want to know where that Samsung ending in 9799 is that she brought to my attention Anthony says that he created a device to give the BYOD promo and placed the Galaxy, on my account because he created a fake ID for the Galaxy. The rep asked him why did you do that when you were supposed to upgrade and attach the promo to the existing customer line she uploaded and what you did was wrong. Anthony got upset and told the rep I didn't do anything wrong and I've got customers then walked off leaving the rep on the speaker phone with me. The rep said yes you processed this wrong and added a line to the customers account and that's an issue. So per the representative I'm not ever getting the byod promo bcus Anthony attached the deal to a fake ID Galaxy phone and number ending in 9799. So now the manager wants me to pay for 3 phone lines and take the $20 monthly discount or return my sons upgraded phone , she will also remove the Galaxy extra line and not have any discounts connected to my account any longer. She told the rep she didn't need him any longer, she would let me decide what I wanted, she got up walked to the back and never returned. At 4:54 pm we start looking around for her, she never came back she just left us sitting at the table and my son n I walked out at 5:03 pm bcus no one ever returned to resolve the unethical behavior and issue they caused my account. The managers actions are a violation of code of conduct and ethics which is a direct reflection of why her employee Anthony felt justified to do what he did on my account in December. Every organization has policies and procedures, the employees acknowledge and sign when they are hired and are held to that but with Verizon, fraud and ethics violations seem to be acceptable. We walked into the store as existing customers on November 13th to upgrade to the new iPhone 16s and requested a monthly quote. The manager assured us that Connor, a short salesman with a light complexion, would take good care of us. We were upfront about our budget and mentioned that if Verizon's prices were too high, we would be inclined to switch to T-Mobile, which was offering a much better deal. After receiving a quote, we initially chose to stay with Verizon, but then the negative experiences began: 1. **Discount Renewal**: We had to remind Connor to apply our teacher discount--he never asked or offered any assistance despite how important pricing was to us. 2. **Misinformation on Stock**: When it came time to upgrade, Connor claimed, "NO STORE HAS IPHONES IN STOCK." He insisted that no Verizon store keeps iPhones in stock to avoid backorders, leading us to believe we had no choice but to order them for shipment. We didn't check other stores, trusting him completely, which turned out to be a huge mistake. MIKE: Mike seems to be a Team Leader, Supervisor, or someone the other employees highly respect. When my wife and I were there, his many co-workers were constantly approaching him during our time with him to ask him questions and seek his advice. I personally sought out Mike without even knowing him. I read the Yelp reviews and he got a lot of positive feedback. I got the same treatment. Mike knows his stuff. The good thing with him is that he deals with personal accounts and business accounts. The advantage of that is that he knows and understands complex cellular phone/Apple Watch scenarios faced by businesses/organizations and how they apply to teams, the workforce, and its applications. For example, my wife asked him if it was possible to do what I thought was absolutely absurd with our cell phones. Personally, I didn't think it was possible. Mike says we absolutely can do it and some of his current business clients are doing it now. Awesome! So we ended implementing it for ourselves. We actually had to come back twice to finish up because our first visit was towards closing time. We came back to finish setting up our phones, Apple Watches, etc., & all was done smoothly. Mike has several years of experience, so he knows what he is doing. My wife and I had the utmost confidence in him taking care of everything we needed. He is very professional, communicates well, expresses his expertise easily, works with customers patiently, answers all your questions, and simply knows what he's doing. Now let's talk about some of the negative reviews I saw. Prior to seeing Mike, he was taking care of 2 ladies. I was sitting right next to the 2 ladies. He was trying to educate one of them on a better, newer plan and that it was even less expensive. The one lady was on a plan that was several years old. Maybe 10+? Mother couldn't believe that the plan he was offering was better and less expensive. I stayed quiet because I felt it wasn't my place to say anything. I think the other lady understood the new plan was better, but the primary lady may have thought she was getting scammed. Hence, experiences like this can end in a negative review. Mike never tried to get me out of my old plan. He told me immediately, I was on an old plan that could not be beat. He wasn't even trying to upsell me. He said he didn't have anything better and that I need to keep my plan. Mike also placed the Zagg shields on our new phones. He took a training class from the Zagg reps on how to put them on. When I watched him put it on, I mentioned how professional, near perfect, and DIFFERENT he put it on. He mentioned that amateurs will do it a certain (as mentioned in his training class & the way that I personally used to do it) way and this is also the way the Zagg trainers advised NOT to do it. JOSE Jose is a life-saver. As Mike was helping my wife and I with our Apple Watches, I unknowingly dropped my old watch (to the ground) that replaced my Apple Watch. Jose approached us and asked if I dropped the watch (referring to the watch on the ground). I said it was mine and got it. Jose did not have to mention that. He could have left it alone, grabbed it for himself, or anyone else. Instead this guy saved me A LOT OF HEARTACHE. After dealing with one rude employee giving me the side-eye (literally.. he had a lazy eye), another incompetent employee who couldn't explain our extra charges without sounding like he was making them up on the spot (Talking about you Ramon), and an overseas support team that may as well have been speaking in riddles, I was left feeling about as helpless as a fork in a soup factory. My parents traded in their phones during an upgrade, but Verizon lost the devices -- and now they're being charged full price for new ones. Keep in mind that my parents went to the physical store in person and handed in their phones.. Instead of fixing the issue, Verizon made me follow up by texting an employee daily. That person has since stopped responding, and we're still waiting with no resolution. There was a very stupidly obvious solution for this. Don't tell us you lost our trade-in phones, and give us the full credit for them. This is the corporate location for Verizon in the Torrance and Greater South Bay vicinity. Meaning, this is the place you go if you want direct access to Verizon powered phones and/or repair. The people here all work directly for Verizon, so they know their jobs very well. The staff here are all very nice and are happy to help you out in whatever way they can. The location itself is very well-maintained and you should have no problem looking for what you're seeking and/or waiting for help. The way this business works is that you walk in the front door, you then scan the code on the banner, near the front door. After you do this, you will be placed in line and they will text you when it's your turn to speak with a representative. Easy as that. As this is that the primary Verizon corporate location in Torrance, sometimes there's a bit of a wait if you need to speak with a representative. Just keep this in mind as if you arrive here during peak hours there may be a bit of a wait. Overall, good place for service and/or purchases. read more

I had a several zero star experiences at this store. I upgraded 2 phones online and when I got them decided I wanted other phones. No problem, just take them to the store. At this store the guy told us he could leave them not activated so my daughter could back hers up. Wrong. He had activated them. An hour on the phone with Verizon and the only resolution was to move forward without backup. Next visit was to give them the trade in phones. Bill came in and neither trade in had been applied to the lines. Another 2 hours on the phone with Verizon and they tell me I have to go back to the store because they have been applied to the orders incorrectly. Next hour plus visit to this store (Where the manager would not come out to speak to me even though I asked several times.) I was told it was all sorted and I would see the credits on my next bill. That bill just came in and I did not get the credit for the trade in last month. I''m asking myself, is another hour or so on the phone and potentially another trip to this terrible store worth $30? I already wrote off the money lost on the new plan because the first guy at this store was incompetent. The entire store has a strong musty carpet smell that hits you as you walk in. I traded in my old iPhone for one of their prorate plans to get $600 off any new iPhone I purchased. I WAS NOT GIVEN A NEW IPHONE DEVICE, little to my knowledge someone else had already use this iphone I purchased and it was given to me, crazy! And to top it off I find out my phone was used or hacked by my Bank of America fraud alert system, telling me that someone else was logging into my bank account through the IP address on my phone, under a different name. Even if this place is always packed there is only one employee working with a slow pace and usually either their computer is down or the system is acting up( base on what they keep telling me) I've been here a few times and every single time a similar story . I asked specifically about monthly cost. He showed me a write up on his tablet, an acceptable increase of $15/month based on an upgrade in phone and service. When I got home, I pulled up the future billing page, and the increase was now $60/month. I went back to the store and this same slimy sales rep tried to rush me off by stating the "trade in" had not yet been factored in. I'm slow but not as dumb as he'd hoped. If I could give less than one star I would. I've been a customer for over 20 years, and I am now leaving Verizon due to its poor customer service. For over 6 months my phone has not worked, can't get calls or text messages and I have been calling in to have it fixed, still doesn't work. Two weeks ago, a manager told me that my network was virtually nonexistent, and he was going to call me back after troubleshooting the issue, that call never came. I have spent 4 hours today (9/9/25) on the phone trying to fix the same issue, I've spoken to no less than 8 different people none of whom can help me. I have now asked to cancel my account, and they have the AUDACITY to tell me that I'm under contract! According to that contract I'm supposed to get service that work so the breach of contract is on Verizon's part since I'm not getting what I signed up for. For 15 years I've been happy and willing to pay my Verizon bill. I upgrade my phones every two years and have the premium plan. Doesn't matter, the level of service I receive is absolute garbage. Waits are ridiculous every time I come, and the people in the phone put you on hold and faithfully disconnect before returning. To say I HATE Verizon is an understatement. I received 2 bills within 11days of signing up with Verizon. I was told when I signed up I had the first 30 days free. With the second bill I went back to the location and met with Sam. When you walk in no there is no immediate yelling "Welcome to Verizon" don't let that discourage you. Sam handled me with so much care, kindness and he said " let me take care of this for you". He apologized for the miscommunication. Sam looked up the account reassured me not to worry about this second bill, I was good to go. I believed him. He gave me his information should I have any problems. I appreciate him and how he provided his information and reassurance. I would return to this location even after the miscommunication happened. I switched from ATT&T to Verizon big mistake I've been having issues with my bill every single month. I'm so frustrated that I have to be on the phone for an hour or so every single month trying fix this issue. Then told it's fixed and again same thing the following month!!! I don't get it!!! Also got internet for my home through Verizon, I was told I would be getting a gift card and have not yet received it!!
