He could have easily gone with the original quote that I already thought was fair, but he didn't. You don't find that type of honesty and integrity every day. Besides doing a great job on the new wrap, he cleaned up a few other spots on my car that I wasn't expecting to make sure he gave it back to me looking brand new. Plus, he took the time to walk me through his clay bar and wax process, which he definitely didn't need to do, but I very much appreciated and will be using myself at home. Most of the jobs were for full PPF + ceramic coating of new vehicles, but they've also performed a couple of non-PPF paint correction, detailing, and ceramic coating work on well-used vehicles not eligible for PPF. In all cases, California Detailing produced fantastic results that made the new cars look better than they were at dealer delivery and the well-used vehicles look as close to new as possible. For vehicles that we've subsequently sold, California Detailing's attentive work helped protect their resale value. Even when we don't have big jobs pending, we drop by their shop a few times a year for installation inspections and touch-ups (no charge during PPF or ceramic coating warranty period). In September 2025, I brought my 2015 Mercedes-Benz S63 to The Wrap Lab for a complete unwrapping and re-wrapping service. I met with Igor, who inspected the car and assured me the work would be handled properly and professionally. The vehicle was in excellent condition when I dropped it off. A few days later, Igor informed me that paint had come off during the unwrapping process and instructed me to have it repaired before they could continue. After the repairs were completed, the wrap job was finished but when I picked up the car, the results were extremely poor. The wrap had bubbles, wrinkles, uneven seams, peeling edges, and visible tape residue across multiple areas. The car was also returned dirty, with a broken passenger door handle and new scratches that were not there before. When I reached out to Igor about these issues, he told me this was "the best he could do." That response, along with the quality of the work, was completely unacceptable for any professional business. The wrap continues to deteriorate daily, and now I have to pay another company to redo the job properly. This has been one of the most disappointing and frustrating experiences I've ever had with a car service.
