    Beef Brisket Sandwich combo.
    Niccole A.

We decided to place a carry out order for City Barbecue. I opted for the Brisket Sandwich with two sides and a drink. I chose Mac + Cheese and Greens for my sides, and a lemonade for the drink. Everything tasted good, warm, flavorful. The Mac + Cheese is never baked, and I honestly feel like if they threw it in the oven for about 2 minutes on broil to get that baked brown toppings, they would really have a winner on their hands with that Mac + Cheese. My family member opted for the 1/2 slab of ribs, and made it meal which included Texas Toast, Two Sides, and a Drink. We get all the way home only to find out they forgot the Texas Toast. This is the reason for the 3 stars, because forgetting the Texas toast was a big disappointment to us. Not only that, but trying to reach someone at their restaurant is impossible. I attempted to call the restaurant twice. The first time someone picked up and then hung up. The second call I placed, I held for 20 minutes waiting for someone to eventually take the call, but they never did. ‍I'm a bit disappointed because my family member really wanted that Texas toast and we paid for it.‍ I ended up sending a message through their app in hopes that someone will eventually bother to respond one day. Nevertheless, if you like barbecue and you're not too picky, City BBQ is always good enough, in my opinion, to hit the spot. UPDATE: City Barbecue got back to my email and not only apologized, but added a $5 credit for them forgetting our Texas Toast. WAY TO GO CITY BARBECUE!!!! For that reason, I can now give them 4 stars.

The environment was fun and the music was good. But the food was delicious and they gave so much we couldn't even finish it.

This place is awesome. The staff is welcoming and very friendly. Andrew took my order and was very knowledgeable of the menu and helped me select what I ordered. Andrew was very friendly and super nice. Would recommend coming here

Potato salad, baked beans, corn bread, Texas toast, brisket, and ribs. So MUCH FOOD!!

I ordered the two meat sampler and it came with two sides and a piece of Texas toast. I didn't know that it came with Texas toast and I ordered a piece of cornbread. It was way too much bread and the cornbread was just okay. The Texas toast however, was delicious. I got the potato salad and baked beans and unfortunately I didn't care for either. The potato salad was too creamy and lacking in flavor and the baked beans were just a tad too sweet. Next time I'll try something different. The meat made up for all the shortcomings. I got the brisket and the ribs- for a charge up. I preferred the original bbq sauce over the others. All in all I enjoyed this meal and will be giving this another shot.

Family member had ribs and greens w/ bread.

Parking: I have been here several times and never had a problem finding a parking spot. They have ample parking. Staff: There was no wait when I arrived around 1:30pm on Thursday, I walked right to the front and was greeted by 3 employees who were very friendly and willing to help. I placed my order and was handed a cup for my drink. By the time I had filled my drink, a staff member let me know my food was ready and waiting for me to picked up. I was surprised by how fast the employees prepared my food. Food: The temperature of the food was just right, the taste of the food was excellent. I ordered the Pick 2 Meat Sampler with pulled pork, brisket, fries, and corn bread. Delicious meal. Ambiance: This place is perfect for casual Lunch/Dinner with friends or even a first date during lunch. Very casual lighting and ambiance. Well done. Well done. 5 stars.

Tried City Barbeque when I was craving some comfort food. As far as the main food, the meats, the chicken leg & thigh and beef brisket were very tasty. I love that they have all the sauce choices from sweet to spicy to choose on your own. We loved the spicy bushfire sauce most. I ordered the chicken leg & thigh which came with texas toast and my husband ordered the two meats, choosing the beef brisket and chicken leg & thigh. We then got the 3 side sampler as our side dish to share. It was definitely enough for 2 people. We got the hush puppies, corn pudding, and mac & cheese. The corn pudding was by far my favorite, so good! The hush puppies were crunchy and warm, perfectly savory. The mac & cheese had to be the worst part of the meal. It did not have a good cheese flavor nor did I care for the sauce and pasta combination, it was also a bit cold. I would definitely not get the mac & cheese again. I'll definitely give this place another try when we are looking for barbeque.

Within 20 minutes we received our text and were seated. The ambiance was fun and relaxing to the seating to the music, all a good vibe. Our waiter, Preston, was amazing. From start to finish he brought the energy and recommended a few things! White Sangria was amazing. Make sure to get the biscuits and you'll need more because they are . We shared the street corn nachos and you'll have to try the freshest jalapeños on them, by far the best nachos ever! I kept with the theme and did the Al pastor tacos but with grilled chicken plus queso and chips on the side! Stuffed and amazed at how quick yet fresh and delicious everything was. Every single person kept saying how great their meal was. Danielle, the manager even stopped by to make sure everyone was taken care of! After an amazing meal like that we had to try the desserts, the butter cake and banana were both great but definitely think if you only get one, the butter cake is where it's at. The ambiance was definitely vibey and perfect for socializing, with a lively atmosphere that fit our group of 13 well. Unfortunately, everything after the hostess stand went downhill on the service side. Our server felt disengaged from the start and rarely checked on us. It was hard to tell if we'd said something wrong or if he was just having an off night, but even after asking other staff members to send him over, he never came back to check on our table. With automatic gratuity already added for a large party, it was disappointing to experience such minimal attention and care. What I had: * Mediterranean Salmon (shared): The portion split felt more like 75/25 than an even share, which was a little odd for something asked to be split. The salmon itself was decent, but the hummus quickly overpowered the dish if you mixed everything together. * Teriyaki Ribeye: I requested medium rare and received a steak well past well-done, dry enough that it was basically inedible. It almost tasted like it had been reheated rather than freshly cooked. Since our server never checked in, I had to flag someone else down to get it replaced, and the remake took about 15 minutes to arrive--even though the cut was thin and already marinated. * Old Fashioned: The cocktail came out quite watered down, with very little depth of flavor. I would've asked for it to be remade, but again, our server was nowhere to be found. The bar program also felt surprisingly limited for a place that leans into a social, cocktail-forward vibe, which added to the letdown. Between the uneven service, lack of follow-through, and several misses on the food and drinks, it's hard to say I'd rush back--especially when there are so many other strong options in Columbus.

Our waiter was pregnant and super nice and explained the menu and the layout of the bar!! I ordered deep fried pepperonis to try as an experience because I've never had that and I was curious. NASTY SHOULDN'T HAVE GOT IT SENT BACK! They have a doggie ice cream vending machine which is really cool and patio u can chill with your puppy dog on with and they have like game room where there are pool tables, darts etc things u will see in a bar! I walked in like aw a bar let's see what it's hitting for! I was excited to try the flaming hot Cheetos wings and the Grippo wings! So bae and I placed a very large order of wings! I asked if they will charge $1 per 6 wings for flats she said no they will charge just a $1 for the whole order of wings cool (or so we thought). Bae got 12 wings: 6 lemon pepper, and 6 flaming hot wings; I got 24 wings: 12 flaming hot, 6 grippo, and 6 something that starts with an F. Me and Babè tried the flaming hot Chito wings, and they were disgusting. It did not taste like the chip at all so we had them returned, which was a total of 16 wings. Yes, I know that is a lot but it was disgusting and I shouldn't have ordered 12 of the flaming hot for myself, but I could not allow myself to take something home that I wasn't going to eat Now the Grippo's and I do apologize but the other flavor of wings you can see in the picture. They were really delicious. Babè loved his lemon pepper wings as well and then we also got a basket of fries. On the menu, there was some pretzel twist that I wanted to try but when they brought it out, it was a Bavarian pretzel and I was a little confused, but I didn't mind it. I ate a little bit of it, broke it down and took it home also on the menu there was a doggy burger. You can either choose a chicken patty or a beef burger I think so I decided to get my dogs a little little treat; the beef burgers they were five dollars apiece. So in the picture, you will see two containers that has some chopped up meat in it. That is what they are calling the doggy hamburger or chicken patty. There was barely any meat I could have went to McDonald's and bought 10 cheeseburgers and had more meat than what I received for $10 in these two containers I didn't even bother to give them to my dogs. I have big dogs I have mastiffs so I decided to give that meat to the geese that live in my neighborhood. I was so over it that I spent $10 on that and who said that I wanted the meat chopped up like I have over 100 pound dogs why would you give me ground beef versus a whole patty? Just my train thought if it's for a dog! So when it was time for us to check out, they had comped the deep fry pepperonis cause I didn't like them, and then the manager came to us and said that he will give us 50% off for the flaming hot wings so when I got my bill. I was a little taken back by the price. We were originally quoted that they were only gonna just charge us a dollar per all the wings but no, they still charge me a dollar per six wings so in total we ate a total of 16 wings out of 34/35 wings so we got three $1 dollar charges. Then I tipped $40 because I like the waitress she did do a really good job and the owner was nice But if I was already gonna pay 50% for the wings, I might have just kept the wings and just rinse them and did what I wanted to do with them in my own house for my bill to be $105 when I left No, the owner did have us try. His flavor of wings with the white barbecue sauce and it's another flavor of wings with it as well but they were nasty. We didn't like them. Will me and Babè come back of course we will probably come back and just purchase the lemon pepper and the grip of wings but I guess that's just part of learning a new place figuring out what it is that you do and don't like is the ambience something that I like no, I will probably just order for takeout. They do have over 26 different sauces that you can try and blend to make your own wings the way that you like them to be and then on certain days is Dollar wing night she did let me know, but I can't remember what day it was so I do apologize. You guys parking was a little hard as it is a very small parking lot. But you go check them out post your pictures. Tell me about your experience and we'll see you on the next one.

During our recent visit up on Polaris Parkway in Columbus, we decided to sit on the heated patio (which is clutch in Ohio). The vibe inside? Rustic wood, stone accents, mounted TVs everywhere -- classy lodge energy with a side of game day chaos. The staff rock the signature red-and-black checkered flannels, jean shorts, and Ugg boots -- think "sexy lumberjack chic." It's playful, but the atmosphere itself feels more polished ski retreat than dive bar. Our server, Sydney, was friendly and efficient. She stayed on top of refills and check-ins even though the place was buzzing. Now... small rant. We unfortunately sat under a speaker, and it felt like I was eating dinner at a rock concert. I'll never understand the volume war: music plays to drown out conversations, people talk louder, then the music gets turned up again. Next thing you know, I'm basically yelling my sandwich order to my wife. Sorry -- rant over. Speaking of that sandwich... I ordered the Turkey Smashed Avocado Sandwich -- basically an upscale club. Turkey breast, Swiss, smashed avocado, bacon, tomato, red onion, arugula (nice touch instead of basic lettuce), and spicy mayo on potato bread. It came with waffle fries and one of their famous 29-degree beers in a frosted mug. And let me tell you -- that ice-cold beer absolutely hit the spot. The sandwich was fresh, stacked high, and packed with flavor. My wife ordered the Smashed Avocado Burger with fries and said she'd happily get it again. Twin Peaks sometimes gets labeled as "upscale Hooters," but don't believe everything you hear. Yes, the uniforms are on the sexy side, but the decor is classy, the food is scratch-made, and the menu goes way beyond burgers -- steaks, meatloaf, skillet green beans, loaded chips... it's more elevated than people expect. So if you're near a Twin Peaks, stop in, grab an ice-cold 29-degree beer, order a burger or sandwich, and prepare to be pleasantly surprised. Just maybe ask not to sit under the speaker
