Meat was good. Collards too. The Mac and cheese was dry. The potato salad is good. But the price around 26 is not with it. Little pricy for what you get. By the way this only came with 2 sides so Mac and cheese and corn bread pd extra for collards and potato salad. So spent about $35

This wasn't it by any means. I really don't eat bbq often but had a quick craving and was on the Battleground side of town so decided to go to City BBQ since it's been a while. Regretted it. Went at a still solid hour 730ish and they were out of Mac and cheese...one of the main sides we wanted. Opted for the potato salad which was the best thing of the entire meal. Hush puppies were dry and small, one more minute and probably burnt. The worst thing was the brisket and the bbq pork. The brisket....looked so, so odd and tasted very bad. Was not appetizing one bit. The pork was the smallest portion and dry itself. The most bothersome thing was the price - ridiculous. Would not recommend.

The food was delicious, fresh the variety was good, and it was authentic southern flavor. The service was good, the gentleman at the counter was helpful and nice. The location itself is great and very enjoyable to be at. The restaurant was clean, interior was very neat, and there was a good variety of seating.

I was craving ribs so I turned to Yelp to help me find the right spot. I had passed this spot many times but just didn't have it on my mind to try. We got the sampler platter to split between two people because of the price and we knew we wanted to try several things. This wound up being a better deal for us as you need to purchase any sides separately. We chose the fries and the okra and I must say I enjoyed the fresh cut fries and perfectly fried okra as much as we did the meats!!! I especially loved the ribs. They were tender and meaty without a lot of fat. The flavor was perfectly smoked and the sauce was light with a slight char. I also really enjoyed the brisket. The BBQ and chicken weren't anything super special but it was delicious. We mentioned going back again! There was so much food we took some home which is a statement!!

Professional and prompt service with a perfectly casual barbecue atmosphere. Many sauces for the finicky and my sandwich was stacked with very flavorful barbecue. My only complaint was with the hush puppies. I'm sorry to say mine were overcooked and not very tasty. Next time I'll choose a different side and hopefully upgrade my experience to 5 stars.

Great BBQ at a fair price. Its not the fanciest BBQ place, but it's also a step up from wax paper and white bread. A nice casual place with the best BBQ I've had outside of Lockwood Texas. We ordered 2 city platters for 3 of us and had some leftovers. The brisket was awesome. BBQ Pork was delicious and tangy. Sausage was great. The sides were also very good, especially the collard greens, hush puppies and fried okra. Ok, it was all great!!! The only request is to please upgrade the beer menu. Would be nice to have some local beers on the list. Highly recommended!

I stopped in here for curbside service. It was super quick. Much faster than planned! I ordered off the kid's menu which ended up being the perfect portion for me. However, I would have been more comfortable with it costing $1-$2 less. The pork was good but less flavorful than I prefer. The hush puppies left much to be desired. They were gooey inside instead of being fluffy which I prefer. The tea is sweet and tastes good.

The restaurant was clean, ample seating with booths, table and bar area. The individual unisex bathrooms were clean and large enough for accessible entry and family usage. The food was excellent, ordered the Barbacoa breakfast tacos with breakfast potatoes which were amazing. This was some of the most tender, flavorful barbacoa I've eaten outside of Texas. The breakfast potatoes were seasoned perfectly and just awesome. And you can't go wrong with the Tri-Fecta, which is a pretty standard, satisfying breakfast plate which we chose pancake and extra crispy bacon with and additional side of bacon and scrambled eggs and everything was cooked to perfection..well done! After more than 20 minutes waiting outside, we went back in and were told we could be seated. The hostess confirmed our name, then immediately seated another couple who had just arrived. We then watched another party who came in after us get seated in better booths and served right away. We were placed in the worst seats right by the check-in area, while those tables were greeted, given menus, and served immediately. We hadn't even been acknowledged properly. The difference in how guests were handled was obvious and hard to ignore. Whether it was poor management or something else, it didn't feel right. We chose to leave and went to The Cheesecake Factory nearby, where the service was respectful and consistent from the start. This needs to be addressed. No one should be treated differently walking into a restaurant.

On a Saturday afternoon, I was in Greensboro and in the mood for some good pretzels and a draft beer, and this hit the spot. Old Town Draught House has a very old bar ambience, without feeling worn out and dated. I love the old dark wood throughout the building. They have a pretty broad draft beer menu, along with normal bar offerings. I was happy to see multiple sour beers on the list, because that's exactly what I was in the mood for. There's no table service, and it is seat yourself, but the bartenders were very attentive, and it was never difficult to place an order at the bar. We ordered a few beers and decided to get deviled eggs and the pretzels as appetizers to share. Food came out very quickly. The pretzels were pretty good, but I've had better elsewhere. Rather than being crispy, they were soft and a bit soggy, but the flavor was great. The beer cheese was on point, although I would've preferred a spicy brown mustard over yellow mustard. The deviled eggs were a bit of a letdown, because it was just a hard-boiled egg cut in half with a little bit of sweet chili peppers and dressing that tasted like 1000 Island on top. When I think of deviled eggs, I anticipate the egg yolks being removed, mixed with a few ingredients, and piped back in. For what was basically two eggs cut in half, the six-dollar price tag was steep. Overall, we had a great experience, although I would likely choose different food options next time. The bar staff were great, the beer offerings nice, and the ambience was a good vibe.

Jill and Kayne, who previously created KAU at Revolution Mill before selling it to Pepper Moon, also own Old Town Draft House and Boulder's Bar and Grill. Each and every one is amazing in its own way. Old Town has been one of the longest standing establishments, and it puts out incredible food! Burgers, wraps, apps, salads, wings, sandwiches, Philly's, even a burrito... you name it. Pretty much everything that comes out of this kitchen is a hit. Today I had the chicken Philly. Yep, the best chicken Philly I've had in a very long time. The classic soft Philly hoagie, chicken that's tender and juicy, peppers and onions full of flavor with the perfect consistency (not too limp, not too raw), all topped with oozing cheese that they're not shy with. I'm salivating just thinking about it as I write this...may have to go get another one tomorrow lol. The housemade chips and dip were perfect with it. Great craft beers, local options, and everything in between round out a perfect pub in the heart of UNCG. This one is definitely in the rotation. No matter what owner couple Jill and Kayne do, they do it amazingly well.

The wings are easily the star of the show: perfectly crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and packed with flavor. Whether you like them classic or with a little extra kick, they definitely don't disappoint. What really made the experience stand out, though, was the customer service. The staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made sure everything came out just right. You can tell they genuinely care about their customers, which makes a huge difference. I'm very grateful that they were very considerate when I drove over for over an hour and found out they were turning customers away due to a leak problem in the kitchen. They did accommodate our request to get our order and have it to go! The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, making it a great spot to hang out with friends, catch a game, or just enjoy some seriously good food. It was our first visit, and it definitely won't be our last. I had the southwest quesadilla with fries, my husband ordered the burger with kitchen fries, and we also tried the chicken sandwich with fries. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and prepared with real care. One thing I truly appreciated was how they packed the loaded fries -- they put the toppings on the side without me even having to ask so the fries wouldn't get soggy. That small detail says a lot about how thoughtful they are with takeout. For drinks, I had a guava margarita (so good), and my husband had a Paloma, which he really enjoyed. The space itself is super inviting, and I loved the creative license plate wall -- such a cool touch. You can tell they've put a lot of love into upgrading the space, and it really shows, especially as the sun starts to go down. We were on a tight schedule, so we ended up taking our food to go, but we're already planning to come back and fully dine in. This is definitely one of those spots you'll want to keep in rotation. Great food, great drinks, great vibe, and thoughtful service. Highly recommend supporting this local spot!

Most have been underwhelming, or inconsistent at best. Stumble Stilskins isn't bad. The burger is the smash burger style -- not always ideal, but pretty good when done nicely, as it is here. "Crispy on the edges" it specifies in the menu, and that is accurate. The meat is also well-seasoned and not dry. Excellent! The cheese is the proper yellow American. The fries, while not hand-cut (which is fine, in this case), have been fried nicely, in fresh tasting oil, and seasoned generously. So much attention to seasoning is really appreciated. The fatal flaw of the burger is that it is apparently served on a "brioche bun." The bun is large, agonizingly dense, and weirdly sweet. In particular, when it's doing battle with the slim carefully structured and seasoned smash burger patties, the heaviness and sweetness are extremely oppressively overpowering. Now, you may say, why didn't I just not eat the bun (which would've been good for the flavor, texture, and my caloric intake)? Well, if you are, as I apparently am, genetically 2/3 sheepdog, you have no choice but to rapidly eat everything in front of you. The atmosphere isn't bad. There's not much to it -- classic bar, but neat and tidy, with TVs and little tables here and there. Not really any nooks and crannies, even in the dimmer half of the restaurant. It would probably be even better if you were drunk. The bathroom was notably clean -- though I can't imagine how chaotic it gets when the place is crowded, since it's a single-occupancy. If you're seated at one of the high top tables, be prepared to be uncomfortably close to the mustachioed open mouth of what I think is Danny McBride.

My daughter used the women's bathroom when we first arrived and multiple stalls were out of toilet paper and there was period blood all over one of the seats plus stuff all over the floor. I went to use the bathroom an hour and a half later and the condition was exactly the same!! The bowling isn't real bowling, the pins are on strings. Also, they say you can order drinks or food but we bowled for an hour and asked multiple times for someone to come by and no one ever showed up so no water, pepsi, nothing! The arcade had at least 6 games that were broke and you couldn't play, another one was missing some of the game pieces and even the DippinDots machine was broken. This place is under a year old and so much is already out of use. We tried to get help from someone so many times throughout the time we were there and even waited 20 minutes to talk to the manager and no one came by!! This was a complete waste of $250.
