Pulled pork, brisket, and turkey w/ slaw and fries
    Ian C.

Came in for dinner as I wanted something barbecue, and was sadly disappointed for the price. Pros - Amount of food was solid - Speed of food readiness was good - Sauces (there were 4 out and available) were solid, not great, but okay. - Fries were good Cons - Brisket was tough and either overcooked or old and had been sitting out for awhile - Coleslaw had very little flavor - Pulled pork was fine, but had a lot of bark and fat, was hoping for better mix - For two meals it was almost $50 and for the quantity of meat and quality, won't be rushing back.

    Pitmaster Nachos & banana pudding.

I come here on a weekly basis & almost always get the same thing, the Pitmaster Nachos. They are great, every single time! Sometimes, like today, I'll get a desert. This time it's the banana pudding. OMg! It is awesome!! I've had the chocolate cake before. It's pretty good, as well. Actually, everything I've had here has been great. On top of that, the people are wonderful, too! From the owner/mgr to the person taking my order, to the person making my food, everyone has been outstanding!! This is one of my regular late lunch stops as I'm on my work route for many reasons.

I will not order at the Lafayette, Indiana location, again. Definitely don't order the brisket (under the pile of pulled pork is the brisket portion in the photo). 2 photos so y'all can see when I opened it and looked for the prize brisket NOT worth paying extra. I gave 3 stars because this time no missing items from the order , and everything taste fine and the lady at the drive thru window was very nice. NOTE: I sure miss our local South Street Smokehouse- just saying.

there was quite a few people in there for lunch but we didn't have to wait in line! the kid taking our order lacked customer service skills i guess you could say, he just didn't really seem to care. we were there to try the food because we were thinking of possibly having them cater our wedding next year, and the manager was like ok... just go online and get information. (told the kid to tell us didn't come speak to us) the food was ok nothing special. well the hush puppies were good hah

The New Cobb Salad was delicious! It was affordable, and I added turkey to it! I would definitely order it again.

Pulled pork sandwich with mac and cheese, was very delightful.

Food tastes so good big sandwich cooked fast, respectable to the guest. Bbq sauce is very tasty

Smoked turkey on Texas toast. So good with the sauces!

I am a BIG fan of the smoked turkey here. It's really delicious and lean. Get the turkey sandwich and upgrade to Texas toast...worth it. I love having all the different bbq sauces on the side to dip. The banana pudding always slaps! The potato salad is also really good. Not a huge fan of the Mac and cheese or corn bread. I've had brisket and pulled pork here too that was also really nice. It's not cheap, but it's totally worth it. I also feel like the sandwiches are a much cheaper way to get some great bbq!

Chicken quarter, Texas toast and green beans.

We stopped in here just before 8pm and they were about out of everything. We were lucky to get these delicious chicken quarters. You know it's good when the meat falls off the bones! They had just the right amount of smoke and the meat was tender and moist. Delicious lemonade and chocolate cake too! We will definitely be back. The service was really friendly and the restaurant was clean and inviting. It's no wonder they ran out of the other items! So when you go don't wait til nearly 8pm

We went on New Years. Clearly they were slammed and had key employees not show up according to the…read moremanager who apologized profusely. We will give it another shot because of that. We were celebrating our anniversary so it was a special night for us. Our waitress was super but stretched thin so she wasn't as attentive as she probably was on another night. This is a very upscale place. Decor and service reflect that. Good old fashioned steakhouse vibe. Oysters Rockafeller were perfect. Bread was fresh and absolutely delicious. He had American Wagyu Ribeye. I had Steak Oscar. Both were cooked appropriately. Maybe slightly under seasoned as we both added salt which is not typical for us. The Old Fashioned was really good and they had a wide selection of wine/beer and a handful of specialty cocktails. Our 2nd round of drinks was comped due to slow service at the bar and dessert was on the house for our anniversary which we really appreciated. We will definitely go back and try other things on the menu. Our steaks were good but I wouldn't say they were worth the price. $110 for his and $80ish for my Oscar. It was a filet with truffled hollandaise sauce and a scant amount of King Crab. They no longer serve King Crab due to the cost. Strange. If we would pay $110 for a steak why wouldn't we pay for King Crab due but that was a minor detail. I wouldn't say have preferred more crab...give me snow crab. The dessert was delightful. Baked Alaska served table side with plenty of rum. Thank you for making us feel valued and special!

If you judge your dining experience based on how much you spend, you're gonna love this place…read more However if you base it on the food quality given the price point, you will not be as enamored with it. Last time I got the lobster bisque and it may have been the best I've ever had. I ordered it again and it was terrible. Just terrible. Tasted kind of bitter and was much too dark for a lobster bisque. The side dishes are enormous and they were all ok. The charred broccoli is an entire stalk thrown on a grill. Char on outside, raw on inside. Lovely. My American Wagyu bone-in strip was good, though it tasted no different than prime meat and did cost $95. I would have hoped for better than just 'good'. Family enjoyed most items. I sampled the wedge and really liked that. Probably best part of the meal. Oysters were excellent. Drinks are always good here. They have upgraded their rum list and have some high quality ones now. That's great! Service is always top notch. I will definitely be back for happy hours. The food at this restaurant is good. But when 2 adults and 3 kids drop $800 on a meal, it really ought to be fantastic, not just good.
