Came in for a shave face & head after seeing my doctor around the corner. This place was off the chain. My hair was short so I thought everything would be quick. far from it. I got the full treatment starting with rubbing all kind of oils and lather on my head followed by a number of hot towels. Lathering my using a brush and started the shave with a straight razor. Top shelve shave other shaves I've gotten where pedestrian compared to this class A treatment. I felt like Dom Corleone. Now we move to the face and again he rubs amazing scented oil on my face followed by hot towel, between my head & face he must have used 8 hot towels and five different kind of oils and lotion. Supper relaxing. Other shaves I've gotten the barber uses clippers and a electric shaver the guy was an artist only using the straight razor. Number one top shelve shave. Walked in to get my haircut today and was pleasantly surprised I didn't have to wait at all. these guys did a great job and was meticulous with my hair. I used the Yelp offer that came with a shampoo and rinse but just went with the haircut. Moving to the city a few months ago I was worried about finding a barber that did a good job and was in my price range. Definitely worth the walk and can see myself going back! total class act and great barber. Very detail oriented and meticulous with his process, especially when dealing with my fade. I had never been here until today, but this spot is now a welcome delight to the lack of good barbers within miles. I got my cut from Mike (the new business owner) after he recently moved to this location. I used to get cut from him in LIC and Midtown, but he finally has his own shop (City Barbers).
