What a wonderful service department! My son drives a Toyota Highlander. He is a guitarist in a band and they have an out of town performance in 3 days! The brake pedal went to the floor and he needed brake service fast. He called City Ford because they were local and did great work on his Ford Escort previously. They took his car in that afternoon, and the next day got the calipers and rotors and had the car finished in time for him to get on the road. On 23 Nov 2022, I took my Mustang (98,369 miles at the time) to City Ford to replace the rear axle pinion seal. It had a slight leak, and I knew I had a lot of long drives ahead over the coming year, so I wanted to head off any potential problems. Little did I know that City Ford created a problem that would cause me a lot of grief later. Dollar cost for the service was $267.52 + tax. A few hundred miles later, I noticed a noise coming from the rear of the car. Over the course of hundreds more miles, the noise became louder, then turned into a vibration that got progressively worse. On a different but related note, I also heard of a colleague who had taken his car to City Ford for an oil change, and they did not refill the crankcase with oil. The vibration continued to get worse, so I took my Mustang (at 100,223 miles, mid-January 2023) to a different shop, and specifically asked them to check the oil level in the differential before doing any work. The mechanic took me into the shop and showed me that the oil level was about a quart low (using a bent wire to measure the fluid level). It is hard to know for sure whether the damage was caused by low fluid level or if the City Ford mechanic overtightened the pinion nut, or both, but no matter, the repair was not competent. The new shop rebuilt the differential after finding one of the bearings was severely worn. I kept the bearing. The roughness can clearly be felt when rotating the bearing in your hand. This work cost $928.54, plus $223.54 for a rental car to get me around while they repaired my car. My Mustang currently has over 137,000 miles on it; no vibration. The only reason I gave one star is that there is no option to give 0 stars. I do not plan to go to City Ford again for anything--ever. read more

I purchased a lightly used 2020 Ford Escape from this establish in February of 2021. The salesman was nice & helpful. The price on the vehicle was actually quite reasonable. Overall, I thought I was getting a good deal. However, I got lax during the signing of the paperwork & made the mistake of just taking the finance guy's word on what documents said. The finance person, however, slipped in an extra $4K extended warranty despite telling me verbally the only warranty was the original manufacturer's warranty. When I noticed this discrepancy later on in the year, I confronted their finance department about it. They told me I could cancel the warranty & sent me paperwork to that end. However, this time I actually read the paperwork & found out it would have only refunded me part of the money I spent on the warranty. Oh, & as a side note, the remote start did not work on the vehicle, from the day I brought it home, so I have to go get that fixed. Of course, it would have been covered under the original manufacturer's warranty anyways. Overall, very unprofessional & frustrating experience. Would not recommend. read more

I use to buy my cars from City Ford but I won't be now! recently I went in to trade my truck in for a 2013 Chevy Tahoe. when checking out the Tahoe I noticed the AC was acting weird and mentioned it to the salesman Jacob. He said it was inspected and nothing to worry about but if it did act up they would take care of it. I trusted what he said and ended up buying the Tahoe. a few days later the AC started acting up again and I brought it in. They looked at it and found a leak and the sales team refused to fix it. I was upset as I was promised they would take care of it. Their service guy then fought for me and got the lead fixed (the service guy was great). When they fixed the leak they found that the ac compressor is going bad and again the sales department REFUSED to fix it like they PROMISED!!! The service guy couldn't fight it. I AM TELLING YOU DONT GO TO CITY FORD UNLESS YOU WANT TO PAY FOR MASSCIVE REPAIRS!!!!! They haven't even tried to make it right!! read more

My daughter is just 18 and they sold her a car that the tire was bad and the back breaks went completely out in it I called and we have an appointment they said if they missed something they will fix it but otherwise we will pay for it but it has only been 2 weeks and she only drives to work and back. Purchased a gently used ford at a different dealership. Had a few minor problems that I wanted to have fixed using the warranty I purchased. Took my vehicle in, very friendly and honest service. Offered shuttle service and when the repair would take longer than anticipated, was offered a loaner vehicle. They called to keep me informed of their progress and what was happening with my vehicle. Service is terrible in the finance department. Following up does not help as the workers prefer to prolong any inquiry. Note to any future customers do not let them sell you the extended warranty without getting full disclosure. If your vehicle is totaled in an accident before the mileage of the warranty expires your $2000 warranty, which they promise you will get all back with no claims, pro rated becomes $88. So if you purchase the warranty go over all the scenarios before purchasing. read more

I purchased a Focus from City Ford back in August 2014. The sales process was easy and hassle free. They were able to get me a better rate than my credit union. I have since been in for service and was treated promptly as I did not have an appointment. Love the free popcorn and soda. Waiting area is clean and sat TV while I waited. I thought City Ford/Chevrolet was a good honest dealership, but was terribly mistaken! I purchased a car on 06/01/17 from them only to find out the car is a lemon and they knew it. They couldn't push this car off on me fast enough. It looked nice online, so I went in and asked questions about it and was told straight to my (and my Husbands) face nothing but lies about the condition of this 2007 Chevy Trailblazer. The check engine light was on which is a no no to purchase, but the Salesman said "it just needs a new gas cap and that will clear the check engine light, if it doesn't take it to someone to cancel the code". It didn't work of course and so I did take it to get the code off and there were 13 codes on this car. I just put the first code out at the tune of $490.00. Now the next code for one of the fuel problems is about $390.00. Not bad for 2 out of 13 codes so far, plus by the way I haven't made the 2nd car payment yet. Like the Salesman Jimmy said "you bought it as is", nice! Never again...You just can't trust Salespeople and shady dealerships if your credit isn't perfect and you are trying to fix that. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. The vehicle I purchased was used . I was told it had gone through their service department. And was in like new condition . And needed nothing. Less than 1200 miles on the truck and the on board compass has quit as well as the exterior temp . The truck needs brakes all way around the oxygen sensor needs replaced and whom ever did the oil change there put the oil filter on so tight it came off in pieces . As well as I was told the tires and wheels where stock size for the Tacoma sport .they aren't even close to stock size . I don't mind the tires but there was no need to lie about it . And to top it off the salesmen sat on my new hand free headset ($140) broke it then said nothing about it to me . Not my idea of good business not too mention I paid more than retail for the truck because I was assured it was good as new condition read more
