I found my new car listed online, called and said I was immediately interested. They were super fast, efficient, and helpful despite my being grouchy. (I was worried about work stuff that day.) We bought a new Silverado and a new Blazer EV from these guys. Thinking maybe we found an honest dealership. Was I ever wrong, they have had our Blazer now for over a month with no end in sight. The Blazer is dangerous; it locks up the drive motors randomly and at times that could kill someone if I was in a high traffic area. It stops so hard that it dislocated my right thumb. The kicker here is the fact they refuse to do what's right and help us with a vehicle. This dealership is crap, they do not care once they make a sale. They act as if you're a headache and want you to go away. Don't expect anyone here to have morals, they do not even know what that stands for. This will be our last Chevy. After 45 years of buying Chevy trucks and cars we are done. read more

Never been to this place Just for the Record. this review is based only on a phone call. I called to speak with Jeff Franke. For one of the simplest questions in the auto industry. has my Supercharger ever been replaced? All he would need is my VIN and within a few seconds he'd be able to tell me. But he noticed my Area Code (called ID) was not a local one and I'd never yield him any $$$ he asked if there was a dealer near me?, there are... but all would like me to come in to give me the info. then he said he generally only does it for friends... then he asked for my number and said he'd call me back (Caller ID). haha. yeah f***ing right. Just say you don't want to do it next time. Thanks for nothing Jeff. Luckily a Canadian dealer saw my post and messaged me within 2 minutes all the information about my car. read more

I'm at a crossroads with Summit Chevrolet. I've purchased my last 3 vehicles there. I've never had to haggle or question a price and that I truly appreciate. Like any new car purchase, the process is lengthy but painless. They clearly explain interest rates and they offer full disclosure of financing information. What I like: their sales area receptionist is one of the nicest people I've encounter there. She's genuine and organic in approach. She's been there so long, my salesman might change, but she does not. What is ok: since there is no commission any longer, the salesman are no longer as charismatic. They are perfunctory , which is ok. There was a time when your salesman remembered you, those are days long past. What I don't like: I had the displeasure of taking a vehicle in for an oil change. When I went to retrieve it, it was not in the designated spot I was told. I made an inquiry with my service tech, he said HE personally put the car there, so he knew the spot was correct. We inquired inside again, no signs of the car. We got several people involved, no car. It was mentioned twice, in the politest way, that maybe I should inquire with my finance company. I was told there have been cases where the finance company used the routine maintenance to retrieve a vehicle. It is at this very moment they had me messed up. This is the left turn into territory that was unappreciated. Where was it mentioned that there was a finance issue, LETS BE CLEAR THERE WAS NONE? I politely informed that that the car in question, an HHR ,had been purchased while my parent was alive and there was no payment, in fact there had not been one in a while. It was OWNED OUTRIGHT. No apology followed, just a couple of lowered heads. It was mentioned that maybe it was illegally taken from the lot and I was on my own devices... to make the long story kind of short, the service tech that PERSONALLY placed my car in the designated spot, well he didn't actually personally do it, another tech did. It was located SAFE AND SOUND outback.....so yeah, that happened, not today but it happened. read more

I would not recommend this dealership for any purchase or service. In Oct 2019 I put 5k down to purchase a 2020 Corvette. Since then there was absolutely no communication by Summit city management or sales staff to me through the strike shutdown, COVID shutdown and model year changes but one time in August 2020 to tell me I would get a 2021 for a 2020 price. When they released my allocation to GM for production no one called to update me or allow me to update my options on the ONCE IN A LIFETIME PURCHASE. I was called by the corvette museum in December to finalize my delivery and cslled the dealership to ask about the status of my car. They said they did not know. I was larer told they finalized my order without any communication to me. As of today, I have not had any attempt from the General Manager Austin Asbury or the owner to make me want to come back to the dealership for another purchase or service.....All Austin said was he was sorry I felt this way and those things were out of his control because of GM. It's awful funny how other dealerships knew about the status of production and relayed it via YouTube but not Summit City. This is my final word onnthe subject. DO NOT USE THIS DEALERSHIP. Just had my truck in for service at Summit. Tom the service manager sent someone to my work to pick up my truck and also left me a car to drive. He then messaged me on my phone and told me exactly what i needed and how much it would be. They did not try to sell me things I did not ask for. Got the truck fixed and delivered it to my work. "Do you want the f*cking part or not!?" That is what Nick, a salesperson at Summit City Chevrolet just yelled at me through the phone. (I recorded the call. If you would like to hear it for yourself, I am happy to share). The part, a middle console/armrest for a Colorado, was promised to me at the time I purchased the vehicle nearly two months ago. After several weeks passed without receiving it, I called back and Nick said that he would have to check to see how much it would cost me. I informed him that it would cost me nothing as it was included in the purchase price as documented under the "What We Owe You" section of one of the forms. Nick didn't seem persuaded so he passed me on to his "manager" Jeff. Jeff was rude and belittling. He assumed that Nick was right and that I had to pay for the part. I pointed him to the purchase documentation and asked him to review it. He said he would and that he would call me back the next day. Several days passed with no response from Nick or Jeff. I called Jeff back and asked about the part. He said something to the effect of "you were right. We owed you the part. It is being shipped out immediately." This was after he said he was sorry because Nick was supposed to call me back. Fast forward another 4-6 weeks to today. I still haven't received the part and I thought I would call and find out what was going on. After being hung up on by Nick (I get it, I'm not his favorite customer) I finally got him on the phone. That is when he used the colorful language above. I am not sure that I will ever receive the part which was promised to me, in writing, at the time I purchased the vehicle. And, to tell you the truth, if I could go back and do it over, I would have never mentioned the part (well, assuming that I couldn't go back and avoid doing business with Summit altogether). I only have had this one experience with Summit City Chevrolet and I hope how I was treated was not commonplace. I, however, will never do business with them again. Also, the experience was such that I feel I have a duty to warn others. If you are skeptical, read my other reviews. They are generally good. I give credit where it is due. Here, however, it is certainly not. And Nick, if you are listening (for once), yes, I want the f*cking part. read more

Me and my fiancé got a 2014 Chevy Cruze from the recently. Apparently the car revived the full check before it was put on the lot yet a lot of things were wrong with it. Within the first week we had to go back 2 times. Well it turns out a bolt holding the back door handle fell off so the handle was just hanging there and someone had stuck it back on where it stayed till we opened it and then the front turn signal fell off and when we took it to see why it did they then told us is was an after market bumper and they told us we had to get a new one or just glue them in. Now we are having problems with the electrical components. The service was horrible and they are not trustworthy. I highly suggest going somewhere else. read more
