At approximately $20, it's essentially a steal. Diners get a slab of bovine that nearly takes up half the plate alongside vegetables and loaded mashed potatoes. I was very impressed how my steak came out just as I requested - medium rare - and I couldn't get over how super tender and juicy it was. Maybe it's just me, but when the meat easily melts in your mouth, you have to slowly enjoy it. The veggies were fresh and seasoned nicely and the mashed potatoes came alive flavor wise thanks to the shredded cheese and bacon bits. I just wished they were a bit bigger to match the steak portions wise. As for the establishment itself, a bit noisy, but it can be easily overlooked by the laidback vibe. I really dug the music that was blasting through the speakers. One minute, it was Luke Combs. The next, Pantera. I'd say this place can be a hangout for me when I want to catch the Astros, Texans, or Rockets.

Has 3 pool tables, 2 electronic dart boards, 2 golf games & 2 shuffle board games Only popped in for drinks. Didn't try the food. Prices were surprisingly low for top shelf liquor. Tanqueray gin & tonic, $5.50; Don Julio reposado margarita, $8.50, but the Don Julio anejo shot had more standard pricing at $17. So many sports bars no longer have the electronic (auto scoring) dart boards which I love so much. Thoroughly enjoyed playing. Machine takes cash only & costs $1.50 (6, 25 cent credits) for two players to play a game of cricket for example. I would definitely return to try their wings. They had a large variety of wing flavors. I was there during an Astros game. Pretty cool place to chill & catch a game.

So it's a New Orleans style restaurant, but tonight they decided to play loud headbanging music. after a long time and my bar buddies complaining about it, I asked the bar tender, if they could change the music because it was horrible for this place. She said NO! She told us that if we all wanted the music changed we had to down load an app and then we could play what ever music we wanted. So I asked, so you are playing music that your patrons don't like in order to force them to pay for music that is more acceptable in a new orleans style place. And she smiled and said EXACTLY. WTF. Fn Rude, double WTF. The Garage closed down a year ago, there's new owners now and it's called the "Big Easy" Great Cajun style food, attentive staff, rebuilt kitchen, DJ's, Karaoke, Special events, great prices etc. Hopefully Yelp will update their data. 13 big screen TV's full bar, knowledgable staff. Food: 3/5 Service: 5/5…read moreAmbiance: 4/5 Overall: 3.4/5 This was okay. The crawfish was pretty flavorful but verged on being too salty for me and my family. The seafood platter we got was extremely salty and really hard to eat anything in it. The boudin was solid, though it was a little oily tasting and was extremely heavy. The fried platter we got was pretty good, as well as the oysters on the half shell. The sandwich and wings were both pretty okay, with nothing really special about either. With so many places here that do a similar thing, though, I feel that this restaurant doesn't strive to do anything to make itself stand out other than certain deals that they offer. Wish I enjoyed this more. Still, I really love crawfish...

Not exactly... there were two spice flavors to choose from, spicy and extra spicy. Our friends went with the extra spicy and said they were very salty. We went with the spicy, they were very far from any kind of spice. We also were not aware that on Wednesday night they have singo bingo, so getting a table is pretty much non existent. Luckily, I saw some friends so we joined their table. The restaurant also has a smoking section. It wasn't super smoky which was a pleasant surprise. Hopefully they will get the spices for the crawfish down because this could be a really great spot!

We wanted…read moresomewhere to chill for happy hour before we had to pick up my nephew from school and this came up on the Google Maps search. It was a hit for all 3 of us! We decided to get the tasting option and try some of the nice variety of beers and sours they offered. I can't remember which ones I got but I also tried my daughter and sister's choices. Everything was delicious except the wings we ordered were dry-rubbed and were too hard & crispy to me. I'm very picky about my buffalo wings, though. The service was fantastic and it's a fairly big place that is probably packed on the weekend. It's family friendly, too, with a playground right next to their outdoor patio.

**Tip-Shaming Warning**…read more I really want to love this place. The atmosphere is great; I hear they are community minded; and everyone here has always been nice. But this joint can't decide whether it is a bar or a restaurant. I have previously talked about how spectacular the fish & chips are -- then they removed them from the menu. This weekend, I took my father to this place only to find out that the lunch menu selection wouldn't fill a napkin. Not to mention, they were out of mustard. What respectable joint in Texas runs out of mustard when hamburgers are on the menu? About the burger... The cheeseburger and fries are quite a bit more expensive here than legit burger joints in our area such as Stomp's or Tookies. Further, I've had better burgers in a commissary and at amusement parks. There is nothing fresh about the meat. And then there's the mustard. When I order a burger with mustard (and you don't have mustard), why bring it to me dry? A decent server would come to the table and say "Sir, I know you wanted mustard, but we don't have any." Additionally, I asked for a side of pickles with my burger, which didn't come. So I asked the server, in the presence of the food runner, "Can you bring me the side of pickles?" The food runner chimed in "They're on the burger." -- I wanted to jump down his throat, but I instead ignored him and redirected my comment to the server (whom I requested the side of pickles when I placed my order.) In addition to the marginal food, the customer service here is quite lacking. Though our server was a nice guy, he seemed to half-ass everything. And then he brought the iPad and stood over us while we paid the bill ... which included pre-set tip amounts. I've worked in food service, as has pretty much everyone in my family. When you stand over me while I'm calculating your gratuity, you are likely to get squat. -- Even the Wall Street Journal has written about the gauche nature of this "tip shaming" practice. And so, our server got what he deserved ... very little. (If he'd left me with the iPad and moved on, I likely would've felt more charitable. His mistake.) This place could and should do better. But it needs to decide whether it wants to be a restaurant or a bar. It could do both, but not for long in the way they are currently operating.
