I went in for a dip powder manicure. The tech was being very rough and didn't let up at all when I told her that she was hurting me. She ended up accidentally tearing a piece of skin around my cuticles with her tool. Asked to get my brows waxed, and the wax was scalding hot when she put it on my skin (unlike normal. Wax is supposed to be hot, but it is never supposed to burn you!). Once again, I gently told the nail tech that it was way too hot but she did not wait for it to cool after that. All this being said, they were very busy and I understand that. I do not understand the recklessness in the rush, though. Sadly, I don't see myself returning. read more

I went in for a pedi and powder dip replacement and they were great. They had great enhanced cleaning protocols for COVID and were efficient at getting the job done. They communicated pricing and timing well and were very friendly with their service. Two hours in and out and I'm relaxed with fly, fresh nails. Stopped in yesterday, way overdue to get my nails done. I walked in without an appointment and did not have to wait at all. Ann did an amazing job on my nails - I go for Nexgen/dipping powder, and she was amazing. She shaped my nails perfectly and I left completely satisfied! Intended to get mom's nails done yesterday. we walk in and they aren't busy, but it took someone several minutes to greet us and ask what we needed. and the greeting wasn't friendly or welcoming. we asked if they could do a specific design that mom had previously picked out. we showed them a picture and with very little consideration they said they couldn't do it. then we told them they just wanted a basic manicure. we sat there for several minutes and nobody assisted us. so, we did what i always do when i am dissatisfied with the service...got up and walked out. steer clear of this place. unfortunately there are very few nail places in The Colony read more

The salon was dirty and outdated. I got a dip "manicure" that destroyed my nail beds as well as a pedicure that chipped within days. There was no actual manicure process, just filing and color application. The technician began filing my natural nails with the power tool I had to ask her to stop. It was difficult to tell if the techs were lazy or did not know what they were doing. Either way, I will not be back and I cannot recommend this salon. read more

I love this place. I bought a house a half a mile away about a year and a half ago. I've been into this salon maybe 7-8 times and I'm always happy. They're super clean, the service is always great and I've loved my pedicures no matter who I get. I liked this nail shop at first , until my nails broke very easily example : opening & closing the door , washing dishing , folding clothes things like that . I went out of town so i was unable to come back as soon as the nailsssss broke , but i called and told them and both times one of the workers told me my set was going to be free , i went up there thinking what they told me and of course got a different result , all of a sudden they "don't do free sets" after i've already drove in the rain and started speaking in their own language as if i did something to them . don't recommend this nail shop read more

When I come to city nail I get acrylics with nexgen on my nails and most of the time they do a good job and the show is very clean, however everytime I've come in the person doing my nails stops what they're doing to go help someone else , turning what should be a 25 minuet appointment to an hour one. read more

Really disappointed! Used to go here regularly but things changed and they just don't seem to care. Went for a pedicure yesterday with a couple of friends. They arrived before me and got started. When I got there the girl seemed to rush through my service. My heels only got a tiny bit of attention and are still rough. My polish looks terrible. They pulled off the toe separators and put my sandals on way too soon and messed up the polish on several toes that I didn't see until I left. Even the toes that didn't get messed up look bad. I'll have to go get my polish changed as soon as I have time. To top it off they charged me $35 for my pedi and only charged my friends $25 even though they did nothing different (except mine was done in far less time.) read more

Horrible customer service and worst pedicure by far I've ever got. I went in yesterday to have one of my toes fixed, and this is the second time I been in there this past week to fix a toenail. The lady that sits up front by the register told me there was a wait to come back in 15 mins which I didn't mind. So I left and came back 15 mins later. There was 4 other people sitting waiting as well when I came back and the lady that told me to come back ignored me and I had to go up to her and her response was well all these people had appointments. My question why would you make me waste my time coming back if you supposedly knew you had 4 appointments coming in. I will NEVER go back to this place ever again or recommend it. If I could give zero stars I would. I ended up going and getting a pedicure from a different place where they did a great job and the cost was even less which I didn't expect. Ive had issues in the past with nexgen peeling up and this salon does a perfect nexgen manicure! I usually go to Jenny who is absolutely amazing! But I went in on her day off and the person who did my nails got a call and had to leave right in the middle and there was no one else to finish my nails, so I had to leave and go somewhere else with just the tips and glue on my nails. I was appalled by the service and how they just didn't seem to care, and how understaffed they were. I recommend asking for Jenny and if she is not there, then save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else. read more

my mom has been going to Jennifer for years and i recently started going to her and i haven't looked back since! if i ever move i will be driving out the the colony to have my nails done by Jennifer. very accommodating and good conversation. everyone is super sweet and wants to make sure you have a lovely time here! also my nails used to break and lift within 2 weeks of having them on before going here, i haven't had one nail break or lift since coming here! highly recommend if you're looking for a long term nail salon! read more
