I plan on coming back in the near future and giving the spicy sandwich a try, for sure. In all honesty, Popeyes Chicken sandwich has more "boom" to it and City Bird sandwich lacks something I couldn't put my tongue on. Oh hi, friends. I came to report that over on DoorDash, CityBird is having a BOGO on several of their items. I have been craving chicken tenders with honey mustard and ONLY chicken tenders and honey mustard lol. They always hit the spot just right and getting one for free just made it EVEN better. Their chicken is always so well seasoned but not salty, the fries come with a sprinkle of parmesan and parsley but you can opt out of that if you'd like. I also ordered the city sauce, the lemon thyme ranch and honey dijon. Everything was so well prepared and very tasty. I hate when I have beautiful but dry tenders and this was definitely not that. Oh! I also ordered a side of pickles because you can't have one without the other. My total came to 19.63 before tax and 28.63 after tip! Happy Saturday ! Get out and enjoy this beautiful day! Terrible customer service. If I could rate it "0" I would. I drove my wife to work, and we put in a pick-up order via UberEats. We went to the store, and they claimed it was already picked up. OK, great, mistakes happen - make another batch, right? They resisted, saying they needed to get in touch with their manager. We did not have time to argue, so we left. After dropping my wife off, I called back to see what recourse there was. The person answering responded only, "The order was already picked up!!", and hung up on me. Unbelievable. Solid fried chicken spot in the West Loop. I ordered takeout online during peak dinner time and it was ready within 10 minutes. When I walked in, the workers didn't seem particularly friendly but just passed me my bag and I was on my way. I noticed the inside was pretty clean and there were plenty of tables open to dine in. Others had posted (and I saw pictures) of the tenders being on the small side so I went with the medium pack, which came with 6 tenders, 1 sauce, and fries (~$15 with tax). 6 tenders sounds like a lot but I would say 2 of these tenders equals 1 tender size most are used to. A little on the pricey side, but I felt like the whole meal was made fresh and tasted like quality ingredients were used. Can't knock them too much about the fries because fries generally don't do well for carry out, but I liked the parm and seasoning. And I really liked the city sauce! CityBird was the perfect quick bite after class, and I'm so glad I got to experience it. The Sweet Peach Tea is absolutely to die for! The sandwich was delicious, and even the coleslaw--something I usually wouldn't care for--was surprisingly good (and I'm the type who would've asked to swap it out, like at Cane's, LOL). Citybird is a great spot for chicken tenders! All their sauces are delicious and the tenders have a flavorful coating. After trying all their items, my favorite is surprisingly the salad with 3 tenders on the side! The salad has a ton of different high quality ingredients. I like getting the citybird vinaigrette but lemon thyme ranch is also amazing. The fries are really good and such a great deal for the amount they give. The bathroom is always clean. There's street parking along Halsted that you may have to pay for, except for holidays and Sundays. Definitely an underrated, affordable and delicious restaurant and West Loop. If you're craving perfectly crisped chicken tenders in between warm fluffy buns, this is the place to go! I got the spicy chicken sandwich, which contains a spicy mayo sauce on the chicken tenders, with a great ratio of crunchy cabbage sandwiched between the buns! Perfect level of heat, and it's so nice to have the amount of cabbage balance out the fried chicken and carbs. I got a side salad (half salad) with the sandwich and wow! They really put a lot of effort into crafting this salad (and salad-making is an art, especially getting the ratios and textures just right). The greens are cut into small segments, and there is a generous serving of nuts and raisins and seeds, which make each bite of this salad full of variety, textures, and flavors. I got it with the vinaigrette which was a nice light dressing. This size is the half size but it was a pretty generous portion! Love that they have a salad option, for those who don't want too many carbs to fill them up. But if you do want all the delicious carbs, their fries are so delicious as well so you can't go wrong! Very clean place fairly new server was very friendly and informative on the menu and sauces. first time here but have had many different types of tenders and sandwiches guess there everywhere now So got the six tender meal with the City sauce and it came out fairly quickly and everything looked good. Tenders were cooked perfectly and had a good crunch to them and flavor was mild by itself had a few with the City sauce but wasn't doing it for me but the ketchup helped with the flavor and texture . 5/5 Service was amazing - I went for takeout when it was pretty empty and the staff was super communicative about when my food would be ready and even offered me fries on the house. I was expecting a pretty standard chicken sando and fries but this was way better - the slaw was super fresh (crunchy instead of soggy) and the sandwich was loaded with sauce and flavor (so fine let it sit otherwise it'll get soggy). The breading was still very flavorful and crunchy when I ate it while other sandos even fresh the breading disintegrates with barely the presence of moisture. *Not to mention* the chicken itself was crazy juicy - tried to capture the sheeeen of the juice in the third pic - it was practically dripping. TBH on-par if not better than Parsons (sorrynotsorry). Fries were also really great - clearly high quality and really well seasoned with garlic and Parmesan - definitely a step up from what I expected from a fast casual place. Finally, price 5/5 - this sando is extremely high quality and about the same price point as Chick-fil-A - aka significantly cheaper than most quality fried chicken sandos in Chicago. 10/10 would recommend & definitely will be back read more

I love trying new spots. I had for lunch with a co worker last week. The chicken tenders were full of flavor but small. I tried 4 different sauces: lemon thyme ranch (meh) , buffalo sauce , city sauce (ok) and my favorite hot honey. I had the spicy oil added to my chicken tenders as well.
