Conflicted about writing this review, but I think others would want to know about my experience so here we are. I'll start by saying I was a regular customer at CK Nails for the last couple of months, and was always happy with my acrylics, gel manicures, and especially the pedicures. I really have no complaint about the quality of their services. My issue is with the customer service. The last time I came in for a pedicure and fill, the lady who normally does my nails was busy so another lady (the manager) started my fill instead, and while removing the gel polish, she seriously cut my finger with the drill (see pictures). I, not unreasonably in my opinion, was pretty upset by this, as it was very painful and bled a lot. She did not apologize or try to remedy the situation. I was jumpy as she continued, and she asked me if I was scared - I said "yes," and she told me to go somewhere else. I said ok and agreed to leave, but I was very put off by how quickly this person was willing to drop me as a customer after a few months of regular visits without issues. She made it very clear that they neither want or need my business, so I will be going elsewhere. Really disappointing. Just know that they will be very nice until there is a problem, and then out the door you and your money go! read more

This joint is a classic southend nail shop. Not the prettiest aesthetically (4stars) but these ladies are professionals! Massage with my pedicure was AMAZING but my feet wanted more. Got a mani/pedi upsold to Shellac-I'm a sucker it was $70 which seems to be the average these days. What ever happened to the $40 mani pedis? read more

Today I took an impromptu day off and decided to try a new nail salon. I was able to get an appointment within an hours window of time and it was totally worth it. I needed a fill, nail repair and re-shaping. My nails look fabulous thanks to Mia! I will be visiting again in a few weeks. read more

Welcoming! Took my mother here and they were eager to greet us. Called my mom "mom" which I thought was so cute and gave a personal feeling. We got pedicures and my mom got a manicure. They were clean and efficient and very friendly. Gave us 2 bottles of water each. They are very considerate. Color choices for the nails were great and my deluxe pedicure was fabulous and very relaxing. They were talkative with us and their decorations and music playing was very fun. Found this little nail salon on Yelp and was pleasantly surprised at how cute, clean and professional it was. Upon opening the door to go inside I was greeted with a warm "Hello!" By the 2 women who I assumed worked there. I was a walk in and was seated immediately when I requested a gel manicure. I typically don't enjoy nails salons that have televisions blaring and although this salon had a TV mounted and on, the volume was low and the TV was mounted on a far wall so I didn't need to pay attention nor did it distract. Jenny did my nails and was friendly and professional, she took special care to trim my cuticles without pain and was happy to chat about herself and to explain the difference between shellac and gel (apparently the only difference is the brand name!). After she meticulously applied 3 coats of gel and our gel light process was complete, she treated me to a nice firm ha d and finger massage, after which she toweled off with a nice warm towel. All this for only $30! I was happy to tip 20% and I will be back again. This is a little gem in Renton town. read more

Walked in for a pedicure and was immediately helped by Jenny. She was very nice and gave me a very deluxe pedicure with scrub, masque and hot stones before giving a long, gentle leg/foot massage. I don't like the way they treated me! I called them in the morning and I made an appointment to remove my gel nails and I asked about the price she said $15 then after I'm done they charged me $25. When I got there, the store was busy and she treated me very bad, my fingers were in pain and she was like it's normal( she was trying to do 3 people nails at the same time), I told her no please no rush I'm in pain then someone else came and did it for me and she was super nice! Very friendly staff, clean. Nice pedicure at a good price. Massage chair comfortable. They keep the door open so fresh air circulated which is nice with Covid, etc. The only reason I didn't give five stars is I find it annoying and strange they tack on $5 to the pedicure if you want callous removal. Very rude. Would not listen to what I wanted done, dead skin taken off and shape. Told me over and over "I do it". When he went to put the polish on I had dead skin hanging off my cuticles still and shape was not what I asked for so I stopped him from continuing. They drilled the top of our nails, and the bowl I soaked my fingers in didn't have soap, but did have a piece of dead skin floating in it that I'm not sure was mine. read more

I wanted to give a rating of no stars, but I couldn't submit this review without it. My rating is no stars. Don't bother going in. They charged my credit card $195 for the services with the gratuity included in the total. But they were arguing for an additional $60 tip in cash. The customer makes the decision on how much tip to add, not the seller, but they were demanding another large tip. They're super nice upfront for the services, but at the point of payment, they're very shady. There are other nail salons out there to avoid this. read more

I went to CK Nails yesterday to see Mia and Lee. My experience was AMAZING! It was very clean and they complied with Covid rules and regulations. I saw Mia for my dip manicure and Lee for my pedicure. Love seeing Mia, her dip application isn't too thick, it lasts forever as in over 6 weeks and I get so many complements every time I get pedicure from her. As for Lee she's super friendly and preformed the best pedicure I've every had. I highly recommend CK Nails. read more

How nice to walk into an salon where I was met with a smile and a greeting!! Mia was amazing. Such a perfectionist. The massage chair worked beautifully . The salon was clean and comfortable.
