If I could give this post zero Stars I would. From the moment we walked in and got our water strawberry lemonade I knew this place wasn't it.I understand is 4th of July weekend but customer service should be a priority and not an option when it comes to food. I don't mind paying $70 to $100 for a good meal but when I could have went to in and out and got better service and better food I have a problem. My husband and I had breakfast here and not dinner. I found portions very tiny for Claim Jumpers. My husband and I were both extremely hungry and looking forward to a big breakfast. To start the waitress was very nice and very prompt, the food was served very fast after we ordered it so it started great until we started to eat. As we were eating we uncovered little bugs in the food. We showed the waitress and she showed the manager. First time visiting this restaurant chain and I have to say I will be coming back again. Service at this location was excellent my drink never went unfilled and we were frequently checked on my several waiters. Our waiter James was by far the most amazing server I have had in a Laughlin restaurant. James was attending, kind, and speedy. She ordered me the fish and chips it came with 2 small burnt pieces of fish and and some of the coldest skinniest french fries I've ever seen. That being said you would think they couldn't screw it up any worst but they did, when we unpacked the bag with the food there was no tartar sauce and no malt vinegar. We were in Laughlin for the weekend staying at the golden nugget and came here for a late night dinner. Claim jumpers back home in Santa Clarita, CA is a disappointment but all 6 members of my dining party agreed that THIS claim jumpers was a 5 star experience. Everyone enjoyed their food but of greater note was the exceptional service. The server attended to us like we were in a 5 star restaurant. The service, I think her name was Sonya or Sophia, gave great suggestions, offered options that weren't apparent on the Menu, and was super friendly and efficient. One couple in our group had some pretty restrictive food allergies and asked for their burger with the thousand island on the side. The cook put it on the burger. When my friends pointed this out to the server, she took the mistake very seriously. She got the manager who came over, offered to remake the burger and then offered soup or salad on the house to tide them over until their burger was remade. Then, at the end of our meal, the manager offered a free dessert to help make up for the error. FANTASTIC customer service!!! read more

We have not been to Claim Jumper in Laughlin for a few years, and were pleasantly surprised. It was even better than what we remembered! I had Parmesan crusted shrimp (I asked to have it grilled) over spaghetti with a light lemon cream sauce. Absolutely delicious! Husband had Cajun pasta with shrimp & andoulle sausage covered with a Creole sauce. I tasted it too. Also delicious. I have never heard him talk about how delicious his dinner was at any other similar restaurant. Great service as well. One of the best places to eat at reasonable prices. Horrible. Don't know why I went back again since the last two visits were unsatisfactory as well. Chicken and ribs were ridiculous. Chicken breast was about two ounces....seriously and ribs were burnt. Porterhouse steak was poor quality, overcooked and overly expensive. Won't be back to this place. read more

Great food! We had Monte Cristo and a side salad and Tri Tip Dip with fries and onion rings for appetizer. Large portions (we had enough food left over for another meal). Fast and friendly service! We appreciated the honesty in the estimated wait time. It appears their wait staff and hostessing all work as a team. The ambiance was pleasurable energy which might be intentional with the comfort food they are known for. I haven't had potato cakes since I was in grade school. What a nice surprise to find those on the menu. We ordered the tri tip. With the food that we could not consume we had 3 more meals at home. We requested Luke for a waiter and gratefully got him. If I could give this place no stars I would! We ordered onion rings as an appetizer and they didn't come out until after our food arrived which was 30 minutes later. Then my daughters order was wrong. She then waited another 20 minutes for just her food. Finally we had all eaten and left. We paid our bill and were very generous with our tip to Leann who was our server. We were almost out of the casino when the hostess made us return because she claimed we didn't pay our bill. I asked our server if He can reheat it, he replied "no problem" after 30 minutes waiting for my food to come back out reheated I decided to cut my losses and ask for our final bill. We ordered the rib eye steak and a bottle of cabernet. The waiter brought the bottle but had no idea how to present it or offer me a taste before he just poured two glasses. A full fifteen minutes passed before the waiter returned to tell us they were out of rib eye. We then ordered the sirloin which took still longer to come and when it did both it and the baked potato were cold. When we notified the waiter he offered nothing and the manager would not come to talk to us. They offered to reduce the bill be $8.00 which was hardly fitting since neither my wife nor I had eaten much of anything. This restaurant will never see the likes of us again. read more

RAUL is the best waiter! So friendly and making sure we had everything we needed. Food is so good! He even made sure to tell us its a scratch restaurant so nothing is frozen and it is prepared fresh every time! Their margaritas are so delicious and 6 dollars every day, all day! We signed up for the loyalty card which has 600 restraunts nationwide , it was 25$ and we get that money back and 25 extra to spend at the restaurant! This was my first time eating here and we had made reservations. No host at the front so we waited a while then she sat us at a table that was dirty underneath. Another worker had to pick up the mess under our table. Our server Zach was good. The food was okay. Thought it would be a little better. Where to start. Christmas Day lunch. Server took a while to greet us. Took several more minutes before drinks arrived and he took our order. 20 minutes for soup to arrive. Another 35 for food to arrive. Food was cold. I do mean cold. Told waiter who then told manager on duty. Manager stopped by table to speak with us. Asked if we wanted a free desert. The only reason I am even giving one star is because our server David was great. Other than that horrible experience here. We came in at 8:15 Sat night 7/23/16 was told there was an hour to an hour and a half wait for our party of seven when I put our name on the list. I was fine with waiting an hour I knew to expect a wait just not what it turned out like. Waited nearby and checked back in one hour later said we were 2 in line. Waited another 30 mins checked with hostess again said we were next in line she showed us the list our name was up next just waiting for a group to get up. 15 mins later a party of six walks in and starts complaining about the wait time and what does the hostess do she seats them right away at a table that just got cleared that was supposed to be ours. So now it's been two hours we have a toddler and two other children and she sat a party of 6 adults because they were complaining if I knew that I would have been complaining from the beginning. When we brought it to her attention she just said Oh we are setting up a table right now, ridiculous! My toddler about to have a melt down we sat and had to wait almost another half hour for the food. It smelled like throw up nearby and then we saw two people come in with gloves and rags and bags about two tables over from us it was very unpleasant when your waiting for food. I feel extra bad for the people they actually sat at that table not too long after. No one ever came to came to check how we were doing considering we let our waiter now we waited over 2 hours to get seated and given the table clean up nearby. I had a tired two year old and other kids plus I was tired by the end I didn't even want to bother trying to talk to someone especially the rude hostess. Never again! Don't Go HERE! read more

This past Friday night was the first time I've ever had a bad meal at Claim Jumper's, this was in Laughlin. I honestly think the chef called in sick and workers tried filling in for him. That's the only way I can rationalize how OFF the food was. Even the usually delicious potato soup was g r o s s. It had a ton of carrots in it, which it usually doesn't have any carrots at all, and very few potatoes, which tasted canned. Even the flavor of the soup was off. I also had a chicken Caesar salad that was brought to me wilty and soggy- not to mention, the chicken looked gross and wasn't even cut normal. I don't know if I can eat a Caesar salad again, the thought makes me sick. That's how bad it is was. My grandma had pasta with blackened chicken. The chicken was the same color as the pasta, not blackened at all. . I think it will be a few years before I will even be able to fathom eating at Claim Jumpers, and I never thought I would say that. Before this stomach turning experience, every meal I had ever had there (including at Laughlin's Golden Nugget) had been DELICIOUS. Again, I really think the chef must have called in sick on Friday.
