The rack of ribs split into two plates! So much food
    Jenny T.

Service was fantastic. Our server (white hair, male, with tattoos) was on top of it. He would anticipate our needs and checked in on us at the right moments. We got a booth that had the tropical trees and waterfall as a view. The cheesy bread was tasty and the clam chowder was hot and delicious. Our full rack of ribs was shared and the server split our dinner and sides on different plates and we still couldn't finish it. The portion was huge! We really enjoyed ourselves and our experience.

Easy to locate inside the Golden Nugget by the waterfall at the front entrance. They offer daily specials. Seating choices include booth or table. They have multiple TVs that can be seen from every seat and Keno. Breakfast is served all day. Hostess seated me immediately, there was no waiting. Serving sizes were perfect and filling. Nice place to take a break from gaming. I'll be back.

We decided to have claim jumper for an early dinner while we were out in Laughlin I thought it was very pretty all of the greenery and plants in there made it very nice. We got there about 5 PM and the young lady was very friendly and sat us down pretty quickly. The restaurant was not busy at all. Our waitress was awesome very friendly very helpful superfast service. We placed our drink water ,our appetizer order and then ordered our food. Everything came out in a timely matter. Everything was delicious! great big portions. Was great had a good experience Would definitely be back

Quick and easy dinner. It's located near the front entrance of Golden Nugget. The service was friendly. The Shrimp & Chips were very crunchy and good. There was a lot of batter but the shrimp size was decent. The ambiance is fine like an upscale diner. It's kind of pricey, but is consistent with the other Claim Jumpers.

Great meals and Mary!! Something for everyone. Breakfast special, fish tacos, and Widowmaker. Service was a bit spotty; we had to ask for water twice, but we did move sections, so perhaps our server was overwhelmed. The dining area is cozy and the view of the atrium is so pleasant.

Went to Claim Jumper inside the Golden Nugget around 1pm today. Honestly, not the best first impression. There was no one at the front to greet us, and no one came out right away to seat us. I actually had to go grab a waitress just to get someone to seat us. At that point, I was close to just walking out. Thankfully, once we got seated, things picked up. Our waiter came by pretty quickly and brought out warm bread (which was so good -- soft, fresh, and just heavenly). I do wish they didn't make you ask for butter, though. We ordered the shrimp pasta, the country fried steak, and a breakfast special, plus I had a side salad. Everything was seriously delicious -- we cleaned our plates. That ranch dressing on the salad? One of the best I've had in a long time. All in all, the food was excellent, but the front-of-house service needs work. If they could fix that part, this place would be a solid win.

Zero complaints here! I split the pasta with my partner and it was perfect portions to split. The flavor was simple yet refreshing. Chicken was cooked perfectly on it. I will be getting this again! Mom god the fish and chips and she loved it. It's a lot of fish for one person. She couldn't finish it all. Little sister got the pizza. She loved it too. I had a slice and he was top tier! Not too greasy, not too doughie. We had a great experience. Our server was very attentive. Always ready with a drink refill! The seats were comfortable and the place had an all around relaxing atmosphere.

Stopped in for breakfast. Coco was my server and she was so sweet and make the best Bloody Mary I've ever had. I would go back just to have that Bloody Mary. My breakfast was hot, fresh and delicious. If you are ever in Laughlin stop by ask for CoCo.

My wife and I enjoyed lunch here Friday afternoon a couple days ago. Food was delicious. My especially loved her grilled salmon. I had the potato skins and a frosty cold beer. Service was good and ambiance pleasant with the scenic waterfall feature flowing in front of the restaurant.

This was honestly the worst Claim Jumper I've been to. Really disappointing. Our server on the other hand was super amazing. (I think his name was Paul). Very attentive and checked in with us often. It's inside the casino and a little different setup than most CJ's I've been to. More like an express. Nice view of the fountain and foliage. I asked for French onion soup with bread on the side (in their case, croutons). Someone else dropped off my soup and forgot the croutons. Our server came by and noticed it was missing and immediately brought me some. The soup was basic. I didn't expect much but it didn't seem like real cheese on top. Disappointing. My husband had the French dip. Fries were hot and crispy. Au jus was basic. The meat was blah. Chain restaurants should be consistent, and this one wasn't. Bummer.

Picked here to eat to get a 25 dollar birthday redemption...little did we know that when you pause this, you only have 45 days to redeem. Five stars alone goes to the Manager who still granted our very expired Birthday dinner credit. They did not have to do this and they claimed that they just wanted to make sure we would come back....well heck yes we will...and next time we will use this in a timely manner. Waitress and manager SO nice. I ordered the Chinese chicken salad..it was huge and delicious..Hub got the prime rib sandwich and loved it. Great atmosphere and Christmas deco added to the ambiance. Thank you Claim Jumper...I will always come back here when in Laughlin!!

The wait times are somewhat long but that's not their fault...you can't make people hurry when they're enjoying a great meal after a day on the water. The real purpose of my review is to talk about my experience with the Manager, Michelle. She handled what was a very serious and sensitive moment for me and my large group with such sensitivity and grace. She was understanding, empathetic and she made one of my least favorite moments so much easier with her willingness to work with my group. She found a way to accommodate us even though we mis-counted our party size by 2. I am so aware that this wasn't easy for her and that it adds to the already stretched staff. My wife and I ordered the rib-eye steak; mine was bone-in. The steak melts in your mouth. We did not leave any leftovers since our dinner was delicious. The waiter came by asking if we wanted dessert. He mentioned that the desserts are made from scratch every morning. With both of our stomachs maxed, we decided to order the carrot cake to go. My wife was tempted to try the carrot cake while I was driving, and gave me a piece. If I weren't diabetic, I would have snatched that cake from my wife and eaten the whole slice of cake. We will be back with the family. I highly recommend you try this place. The steaks come close to the Golden Steer in Vegas.

Not terrible or awful, but bordering on being a nuisance in regards to time to table. That being said, the food quality was lacking. That is the issue. And it only matters because this restaurant is larping as a fine dining experience. I frequent vegas restaurants who pay more for overhead and location and their quality is far superior and similarly priced. The water tasted awful. Basically, If I could describe it, it tasted tainted by river. Like a swampy dirty smell with every sip. I basically stopped drinking any water during my whole dining experience there for this reason. Granted, it could have been my particular glass was dirty, or partially washed. It may just be that the water isn't filtered and it is tap. However after tasting my wife's, hers tasted similar albeit not as strong. The problem is, the tri-state area has the worst tap around. Everyone knows this. This wouldn't be a big deal if this was dennys. The problem is, like I said, this place is masquerading as a fine dining experience. It should be held to that standard. The minimum would be filtered water. So it's either a problem with the dish washer or the water itself is poor quality. Or they get the water from the casino bar which are notoriously bad quality in laughlin. Next we go to the meat itself. It may be that it was lacking because I went on their discount day, which I was unaware that it was, the special was a "prime" Rib for a good price if you get the package with the baked potato. Which is fine, but it may be on that day they use choice meat instead of prime to get a better margin for price and so they can sell more. That being said, I still ordered the full price prime rib, not the special. It still lacked in quality. Seemed very tough and full of connective tissue. Ordered medium rare. Alas it was Grisly. Which is indicative of lesser quality meat selection. Likely choice/select cuts, not true prime. I don't mind, but they are charging vegas quality restaurant prices but not in vegas. The quality needs to match. I don't understand the high reviews here because I gave this place 3 chances and this sadly was the third. I won't return ever again. You can get better quality if you just enjoy a drive to vegas. I thought it may have been a fluke but now I realize that is the norm there. There is some good but not worth a return. The asparagus and potatoes were cooked wonderfully. However, I don't go to a restaurant for their garnish dishes. I go for their proteins. We paid full price and I didn't bother to complain to the servers because it isn't their fault. I just won't come back.

We assumed there was a restaurant, I'm sure, but didn't realize that this would fast become one of our favorite places to dine when in Laughlin. Service here has not let us down, so friendly and personable. We always have fun banter with the staff and they all seem to enjoy their jobs. Besides friendly, service is fairly quick too. Food is served timely and drinks refilled quickly. We are not a fan of the weird bread they serve prior to dinner. I love Kings Hawaiian bread but not with whatever the topping is here... doesn't go together for us. But it is different and apparently draws people in for it! It's fine that we don't eat the bread... we certainly don't need it. The food here is healthy portions and really delicious! My favorite is the crab and shrimp scampi, makes everyone at the table jealous too. So yummy!! I'm not a big steak/meat eater and there are plenty of terrific options for me here. Others that I've dined with really love their prime rib and grilled steaks, no disappointments there. One suggestion is that they should use bleu cheese dressing on their Wedge Salad... that is what the wedge salad is all about, not ranch. Have the option at least. So even though we don't do the bread and wish there was a different dressing on the wedge... we are still extremely happy when we choose Stockman's for dinner! Dinners will run you $25-50, then add on any drinks or desserts. Oh speaking of dessert, there is creme brulee and a chocolate cake called a "lovers dome" which is big enough to share (if you want *wink*) I teetered between the 4 and the 5 stars on this review... but I think overall it rates higher towards the 5 than the 4. The only problem we encountered was that a window table was not ready for us until thirty minutes after the time of our reservation. But the river view was worth the wait! We began with a complimentary Bread Basket that included excellent lavosh, and a Shrimp Cocktail Supreme sporting five shrimps. This time the crustations were meaty and flavorful dipped in a two-tone sauce. We requested and received extra lavosh with no resistance. Next up for me was a good French Onion Soup Au Gratin with a large crouton laden with a mix of Parmesan and Swiss Cheeses. Then I tried the Steak Diane Soup that came with Diane's order. It was the best version of this soup that I have sampled to date. Tender chunks of beef dissolved in the mouth carried along by a sea of broth that tasted like Mushroom Gravy. A complex dinner salad followed, with Mixed Greens (no Iceberg Lettuce at all), Grape Tomatoes, Artichoke Hearts, Bleu Cheese Dressing and Bleu Cheese Crumbles. It was here over 25 years ago that I first tasted wonderful Bleu Cheese Crumbles in the same type of salad. After cleansing our palates with Lemon Sorbet, for mains I had lean Veal Piccata with Capers and Spaghetti slathered with a delectable Lemon Cream Sauce, while Diane enjoyed her usual order of Coquilles Saint Jacques. This time the included Scallops were very small but the Shrimps were very big, and portions were generous. For dessert we splurged on two orders of delicious Bananas Foster prepared tableside, and I had a Decaf Coffee. Richard, our server, did a wonderful job of flambeeing this treat, that by this time was accompanied by a few bursting fireworks that were visible to us just across the Colorado River from our perches above. The elegant ambiance of the restaurant this evening could not have been better. We left in time to observe most of the Rockets Over the River fireworks show from our parked car on a hilltop overlooking the Laughlin Strip well above Casino Drive. It was a magical night!

The appetizers were delicious. Overall, the food was good but I found the appetizer better than the main course. Everyone else had giant portions of food and mine was just a few bites.
