Seems they sell similar stuff to when I used to shop here back in middle school and partly high school - lots of costume jewelry to nicer earrings and variety of accessories/decor like small purses, plush animals. (Our visit was on Aug 29, 2025) Spoke to Xochitl the day before bringing my 10 yr old daughter to get her ears pierced for the first time. Xochitl was so sweet, thorough, and professional and answered all my questions so we could visit with ease and comfort. Vanessa pierced my daughter's ears the next day and her skills were on point! The placement of the piercings were perfect! I am an artist with the keenest eye and had absolutely no requests to change a thing. The process was so quick, my daughter didn't even realize when her first earlobe was done lol. Got my piercings done @Claires when I was in high school. Now I get to bring my babies! It's been a little over 3 weeks now and healing after both my daughter's (3y/o & 10mo) ears have gone well! What can I say about this place. The associates were amazing with my girls. Huge shoutout to Xochie. I called multiple places, even a physicians office. Xochie answered all my questions and made our family feel the most comfortable. I truly was scared bringing my daughters, just because I wanted a reputable place since they are so young. I was absolutely terrified about my girls ears getting infected. So we went with their recommendation and chose real gold/diamonds for some prevention and I think that is helping. Stopped by on a whim, looking to get a cartilage piercing. To my surprise, they offered that service in that location (not all Claire's do). The staff (Monica and Xochilt) were so kind, knowledgeable and helpful about the process, answering all the concerns I had about its healing and cleaning process. The piercing process itself was smooth and relatively painless; the shock I once felt from piercing guns was replaced by a slow/gentle pressure that ended faster than the countdown. They had a nice sale going on while I was there, that applied the piercing purchase. Will definitely be coming back for more piercings! read more

I came in to buy a new pair of 50$ earrings on 4/8/25, around 10:20am. I did not know which earrings matched the ones i had, so i brought in one of my old earrings. Patricia VERY quickly glimpsed at the earring I showed her, told me which ones she thought they were, and charged me $50. Very soon after leaving the store I realized she had grabbed round earrings instead of the square ones I showed her. I checked out and paid for the wrong earrings and was refused a refund SOLEY because PATRICIA brought the wrong ones up to the counter, did not double check that they were the right ones, and I never even SAW the earrings until after I checked out. I wasted so much money because of Patricia and I will not be coming back even though I know for a fact I will need to buy earrings again at some point. read more

I cannot even explain how rude the sales girl was to us just now. I had an appointment for an ear piercing. She ran through what was available and she sped through it super fast, impatiently and with an attitude. I felt her energy right when we walked in, but man, after I literally asked her just 2 questions about the pricing, she just talked to us in such a rude condecsending manner, rapped her nails on the earring board pointing to things and talked to us like we were idiots for not remembering the first time she said it. After that, I did not feel good about such a brash person who already clearly didn't like me touch my ear. I'm still so in shock at how badly we were treated. Never going back there now And now I'm at the earring place upstairs giving my business to them instead, and the sales girl here says she gets it all the time that they are rude over at Claire's. We visited Claire's in Brea Mall today to have my 4 year old niece's ears pierced. My sister also had additional piercings done. Alex assisted us and could not have been sweeter! She was so patient with my niece and took the time to explain what she was doing at every step. My niece had a meltdown after the first ear was done and Alex gave her some time to regroup before moving on to the second ear. After a little cool down period, my niece was so proud of her new ear piercings! My sister's experience was just as good and Alex made it as quick and painless as possible. For reference, the most inexpensive option for ear piercing was about $65 and the most expensive option was $80+. Claire's offers a 20% discount on all purchases with a piercing. Overall, we had an awesome experience at Claire's and this was primarily due to Alex's kindness and professionalism. Thank you, Alex! read more

This store is terrible and the employees lied about their polices and provided bad customer service. I've only gone to this store twice and I will never go back. First time was to purchase, and second time to try to exchange a broken product which they would only exchange by providing me a less than 50% credit for the broken product that I wanted to exchange. I stated I do not want a refund. I want an even exchange for the same exact product and I have my receipt. They still argued that I would still only get less than 50% credit for the $20 item I purchased. My daughter left crying because they would not provide her an exchange of equal value. She would need to spend more money just to be able to exchange the broken product for something of equal value. Do not spend your hard earned money with this sad excuse of a boutique. The very first time I went they had a game for St. Patrick's Day that if you find at least three Shamrock stickers around the store that you would get 20% off of your purchase. So my daughter went looking for three shamrocks and found them. When we got to the counter, they asked me if I would like to open up an account with Claire's and I said no thank you. I said I'm glad to have the 20% off with the three Shamrocks my daughter found. Then the employee lied and said oh actually you have to have an account with us to get the 20% off for fnding the shamrocks so you have to open up an account. The employee lied and would not honor finding the three shamrocks to get 20% as she had originally offered when we walked in the store. She said I also had to open an account. It was very clear to me that the employee was being dishonest and benefited from trying to open up accounts with people by fraudulently telling them that they would Get 20% off by finding three shamrocks, but then also obligate them to open an account to receive the 20% discount that she originally offered for finding the three shamrocks. As I shared, I will never ever go back to the store again- the employees lie and if you try to exchange a product, they will give you less than 50% of the credit back so that you cannot exchange for something of equal value. Went in today 03/24/21 to get my daughter ears pierced, I'm a mom of 2 girls 2 1/2 and 8, my 8yr old was going to get her ears pierced and my 2 1/2yr olds mask is a bit big where it slides down barely exposing her nose and she tells me she has to wait in front of store, you got to be kidding me, yeah let me throw my daughter outside idiot she's 2 1/2, I will never come back to this store so I chose to leave after that disrespect and went to "icing" got them pierced no issues. She said her name was kris, she had colored hair very disrespectful girl and she even had the audacity to roll her eyes at me, she's lucky I can control myself but could definitely see how things can quickly get out of hand. Great For Kids Came here with another Yelper to get mah little friend's ears pierced. Two people pierced both ears simultaneously and made the event less tragic. It went as smooth as can be imagined. My only issue is that I wish they had a bit more selection. The white gold with pink flower was her choice. So, three months later and no issues, thanks to the care package they gave. She loves the earings and sports them around her school. Apparently, little girls like this stuff very early on. She is only 3 and had already been bugging me about getting her ears pierced. I went in to get new earrings for my piercing I had gotten earlier in the year & since they were healed I was super excited to find some hoops. I wasn't sure what was the best size to wear & the worker Alex helped me out. Very bad experience! My daughter got a second ear piercing which got infected within 2 weeks in-spite of good cleaning as instructed. It was bad so we had to remove the earring. I called them up They said no discount, no refund we have to go for a brand new piercing and buy another earring. That wasn't cool. read more
