8/24/26 I have been…read morelooking for jewelry repair shops in my area for the last month. I have one eternity band that lost a stone, one bezel ring needed to be downsized and another bezel ring needed to have the stone replaced (due to poor quality). I drove over and got confused thinking this place was in the jewelry mart that I once visited prior. I noted that the jewelry mart was dark without any open signs or people walking inside. I called the Yelp number to ask if they were still open since it stated they were open until 6pm. A nice gentleman answered to phone and told me where they were located. Come on in, we are still open. As I approached the store, I saw two armed guards in front, and an empty queue line outside. The guard opened the door, I walked in and was welcomed by approximately 10 people to my left. It was slightly startling at first/like a car salesman place but it was less intimidating. I walked to Sean who greeted me and asked me to meet him at the counter behind me. I glanced around and noticed ICE, ICE baby everywhere. So much bling, I would have benefited from shades for sure. Sean came over quickly, introduced himself and got details of what brought me in today. We discussed each repair, resizing and stone reset or replacement request. He wasn't too sure about the elongated, bezel stone swap out. He said it may be pretty expensive and not sure if I would like to proceed. He asked why I wanted to replace it and I told him the quality of the stone was poor so I got a replacement. He gave me on the spot pricing for the repair and resizing. He offered to try something first for my swap request... he took the ring back and cleaned it up thinking it may have just needed a freshen up. Unfortunately, he agreed the stone quality was not as good. He then offered to get a second opinion about the swap out. A few minutes later, he and owner Gabe came out. Gabe gave me a quote for $400. He read my face and offered $100 less for the service. I agreed to the updated pricing and was happy. I agreed to the price to get all three items worked on. He informed me if I came in 2 hours early, I could have brought all 3 home with me same day. I was surprised and asked for details. Apparently, they have multiple repair folks, stone setters and watch workers in back. You can see all the staff members working in back with live camera feeds. I even saw a lady recording her stone setting process. I found this to be a very cool experience even though I didn't get to see it done on my own ring. Sean documented all the work for each item and placed it in their respective envelopes, I paid and off I went. ETA for completion next day or the following day latest. He gave me a heads up about the completion notification will come digitally when each item is ready. I can choose to wait for all three to be done before pick up. I greatly appreciated Sean's patient, inquisitive attitude concerning my swap out stone and attention to detail when it came to documenting item specifics. So far, a great experience with them! If you're looking for jewelry repair or looking for a new piece of bling, please stop in! Will provide an update when I get my rings back :)

I placed my order understanding it would arrive within 3-4 weeks. When that window passed with no update, I reached out through their online system -- no response. I then sent a text and was told my ring was still being made. I waited two more weeks, and still received no shipping notification or FedEx tracking. I called the store directly for a follow-up, only to be told they had never actually made my ring. They offered a return and a gift as a resolution. I waited for the refund -- and again, no communication. No email, no confirmation, no follow-up. The refund eventually came through, but only after I had to chase it down myself. After more than a month of waiting, repeated follow-ups, and zero proactive communication, I was left with no ring and a very poor impression of how online customers are treated. In-store customers may have a different experience, but as an online buyer, I felt completely overlooked at every step of this process. I hope this feedback helps improve communication and order tracking for future customers.

Zak is one of the best piercers I have ever encountered. I've lived all over the damn country and have been poked lord only knows how many times. Zak is by far my favorite piercer. Down to earth and really just a rad dude, but does not lose his professionalism in all that. He explains what he's doing, and does not make you feel awkward at all. Answers all questions and encourages you to call and ask if something doesn't seem right. Idk about you but having your legs spread open in front of a guy you're not sleeping with can be pretty awkward when they have to clean around and look at the area like inspector gadget...not once was I uncomfortable. I got my forward helix and she got her nose pierced and the whole experience was amazing. There were two workers there, and I believe the piercer was Craig. He was incredibly kind, professional, and made us both feel so comfortable and excited. He has such a gentle hand that the piercings honestly barely hurt at all. You can tell he really knows what he's doing and cares about making the experience a good one. Overall, I absolutely love this place and would definitely come back for future piercings. I mean, I had a little user error (wear your reading glasses if you're over 40 like me!) but Simba was so kind to give me a call to help. The shop was super cool, clean, and bright! I found the warm wood colors of the walls really calming. Even more so, Simba was super calming. He was informative, thorough, and professional. I am glad we found him so I can tell my friends about his shop. I felt uber comfortable in his space and am even more delighted by my cute be piercings!

I appreciate how Simba displays care for his craft, but there were many red flags during my experience. My partner and I had requested stainless steel right away for our piercings clarifying we didn't need a titanium upgrade as we have no sensitivities even after the sales pitches, but once Simba told us the price at the end it was much higher than originally quoted, so we corrected him and he said he pierced us with titanium. Not once in the process was this made known to us. This was an extra $40ish to our total that we had no choice but to pay, when we have no sensitivities or allergies and are used to stainless steel jewelry. Simba was very salesman-y and tried to have us purchase many things until I requested to take them off the total, which I get from a business perspective but it made things a bit uncomfortable. I was familiar with the products too as we sell them at my work, and they are not soundly necessary for piercing aftercare. Any clean saline spray works great. The main problem came with my vertical labret piercing, which the end ball fell out 1-2 hours after he pierced me. I was standing when it fell out, and i didn't even notice until I saw my lip. I had to go back and get it fixed, which I do appreciate that Simba came back to help and screw a new one in. Then, 2 weeks later, my piercing fell out again when I was sitting in a car on a road-trip to another state. I never touched my piercing or did high movements out of caution. Once again only noticed when I saw my lip in a mirror. It was an insanely stessful experience where my piercing came out from the top of my lip and I had to shove it back in with blood leaking down my chin during a food stop in front of my family. Appetite ruined. Though Simba referred me to someone he knew in the area I had to pay to get the ball replaced, and this piercer was amazing. Johnny from Club Tattoo. My body was in shock from everything and I was not all the way there but he was very kind and I wish he was local to the area. He mentioned that per Simba's instructions (which were rather outdated, uncommon, and bizarre: clean the piercing 3 times a day with a spray and then 1 more time with a specific foam soap), I was over cleaning my irritated piercing and needed to let it be instead. I was only spraying it 3 times a day as I thought the soap was overkill, and spraying it 1-2 allowed it to heal better. The real kicker was, once this piercer switched my bottom ball out (Simba was telling me to buy a whole new piercing), it never fell out again! Not even once. I was even worried as the jewelry base was different. And I was very careful out of fear at first but then I started continuing my workouts and being not careful at all, bumping it etc, it still never fell out and lasted me about 5 months, perfectly in fact, until I had the courage to downsize it with The Piercing Shop (they were also very kind, low stress, and told me not to pay more for titanium when I asked as a precaution bc stainless steel works just fine). I even considered going back to Simba to downsize but never got a response. I'm unsure how things could've gone so wrong here, and it was personally a bad experience for me and my partner whose piercing had no room to be downsized as well and hasn't healed well. 2 stars for the early effort in communication at least, but overall a very poor personal experience
