I settled for an item came to the register and waited for 2 minutes for some rude lady to check me out. She then asks if I had an email there, I said no and she said what's your phone number. I said "I don't have one" assuming she was asking if I had a number there. She looks at me with a dirty ass look and then looks at my phone that's in my hand, and says with a BITCHY ass voice "you don't have a phone?" I laugh it off and say mb I thought you asked if I had one here, bruh she signed me up for it EVEN THO I DID NOT ASK, she didn't clarify why she even needed my number for. My mom goes to check out her items and she switches up and is all sweet to her. Pricey pricey ! Even with sale price ! Well organized but Aisles are too narrow , too many merchandise stands. Brought 6 year old granddaughter for a birthday shopping spree as per her request. Oh boy! We were in trouble as she went browse each aisle. Although they had sale on buy 3 get 3 free on hair and jewelry items, the items still add up cause the free items were the lower priced ones. As long as she was happy we were too!! Didn't have a chance to take pics of items she picked cause she suddenly felt ill. My twin girls wanted their ears pierced. So we decided to come to Claire's @ the mall. Thank goodness I read the other reviews about making an appointment. We got there like 10 minutes early for our appointment. The place was already packed. We had to wait in the long line just to let the lady know we were here for an appointment. Maria the cashier working was welcoming and friendly. She advised me she had one person before my girls. That if we could please browse around until she was finished. Also had to sign paperwork to authorize my girls piercings. I felt awful for Maira as she was the only one there working. So I thought as a bigger line began to form with customers waiting over 10 minutes. A younger girl comes out of the back of the store. She didn't have an sense of urgency at all. She had the nerve to start looking at things on the shelf and bypassed the line waiting to get rung up. I was like wtf is wrong with this girl! Finally someone asked her are you going to help ring us up? This was all while we continued to wait for our turn. About 20 minutes later it was my twins turn. one of my girls picked some colorful daisy flower studs for her 1st ear piercing and my other girl picked colorful heart ones. It took about 35 more minutes to pierce both girls ears. Maria went over after care and then rang us up. She was working hard and pretty much solo so I didn't mind as much that it took over an hour from start to finish. Most likely won't visit the store probably will buy online instead. read more

I haven't been to a Claire's in years. I remember coming here to buy cute things as a college student. If I had a little daughter, I would bring her here and spoil her with anything she wanted. There's so much to chose from hair items to cute jewelry or just something fun and sparkly to own. At the front of the store, there was a selection of Mother's Day gifts as well as Graduation gifts. It was more of nostalgia browsing through this store. Fond memories. Glad to see that it survived the pandemic. read more

The WORST customer service EVER!!! i made an appointment to get my baby's ears pierced but we were lost so I called to get the exact location and ended up getting there 10 min late because we had to walk in the heat from the parking lot to the store! they BARELY greeted us, then were like " you're 10 min late, we can't take u in. you have to wait an hr for the next appt" I told them " sorry but the baby's sleeping now is it ok to just pierce her ears ?" she looked at me and was like " 3:45 or 4, that's ur only option" and rolled her eyes. I get that we were 10 min late but there's a way to speak to your Paying customers!!! super rude, avoid going there!! read more

RUDE RUDE RUDE !!!! Walked in exactly at 5:50pm just to be pretty much yelled at by who I think is a manager since the other girl working was super young. Short heavier set middle aged Latino lady behind the counter Rudely went out of her way to tell me they close in 10minutes which would make it 6 pm when the MALL closes at 7!!!. She was ringing out a customer and said this is our last (customer) hmmmm , your shift ain't over yet lady but Ok no big deal, so I politely asked if we had time to get my daughters ears pierced. Her response , Rudely raised her voice again and pointed towards piercing area "Hurry up and and sit her down we close in 10minutes!! Yeah .... Pass!!! With that attitude you think I would let her or any other employees pierce my babies ears? He'll no. Nothing wrong with wanting to close up shop early one evening , I get it. What I don't get is the attitude and lack of respect towards a customer. It's obvious she was done and wanted to go home . I've been doing sales and retail my whole life and have never spoke to a customer that way NEVER !! I treat people the way I want to be treated and I was so embarrassed to be spoken to this way. I'm a professional, I'm kind and courteous and did not deserve this type of service , no one does. My family and I stormed out of there and are happy we did. Everything happens for a reason. Last thing I want is my daughters getting hurt during the piercing process. Maybe I avoided what could have been a nightmare and I'm thankful. If you don't like your job , QUIT ! If you don't have the passion to serve people change your profession lady. YOU should be thankful your employed during these difficult times , I know I am. Can someone explain to me why this store over charges for ear piercing. Is it because they are charging you for a 16 oz bottle of ear care solution. I was surprised that there was no explanation was offered regarding the solution as we were choosing a pair of earrings. It's obvious they are force selling the 16 bottle of solution. Horrible customer service here. They don't honor any coupons or discount codes (even when they are clearly listed online as *in store and online discounts*) the older lady who is always working here has the worst attitude ever and is so rude to every single customer. She wouldn't even try to help me figure out how to use the coupon for store pick up and basically told me I was "out of luck" because her store computer wasn't ringing up correctly and wanted to charge me full price even though a discount code clearly applied to my purchase. She said her inventory was not ringing up the items correctly so that somehow became my problem? Kept rolling her eyes the entire time during our interaction and told me that whatever was listed on the Claire's website wasn't how it would ring up at her store. The best she could do was offer me 20% off the entire purchase even though the coupon clearly stated "Buy One Get One Half Off In-Store and Online." Like it was let's make a deal or something. I ended up getting so frustrated with the whole situation that I just asked for a refund and left. What a waste of time and energy. Won't be back. What a miserable lady. read more

Drove all the way from Buena Park in Orange County to have Raylene pierce a 2nd hole on my ear lobe and my little sisters first hole. Procedure was so fast and painless! Raylene was so patient with my picky back and fourth decision on which earring to go with. She could tell my sister and I were nervous but made sure to comfort us and inform us how safe and clean Claire's policy was for piercing ears. I got my baby girl's ears pierced here today and I can't begin to describe the amazing experience I had with these women. I came all the way from West Covina just to get my child's ears pierced because in a previous visit they provided customer service that I rarely experienced. Both Crystal and Raylene both explained to me Claire's process for piercing ears. I have to admit I'm a pretty paranoid parent and I was likely going to go to a tattoo shop to get my baby's ears pierced. I asked the same questions repeatedly but they put all my fears to rest and in the end I decided if I was going to get my baby's ears pierced it would be there with them. Went in and she blamed me for not telling her the right earring I wanted for the 2nd ear piercing, when I told her which one I wanted the 2nd time she was very rude about it, I recommend the place but not her to do the piercings she had gave me the earring that she "accidentally " put for $38 it's original price and gave me that for the value of the one I wanted which was $54. Like what $12 off for what not doing her job correctly unsatisfying customers. She kept asking that she would change it to the one I wanted but my ear would bleed and I didn't know what to decide I was stressing on the spot. While I was mad she kept rushing me to decide but at that point I was over it and just had enough. I knew she was wrong because after she already had put the earring in she said "oh I put the wrong one in it's because you didn't tell me which one you had said the ball " when clearly I remember few seconds before that what earring I told you. SHE LEGITIMATELY TRIED MANIPULATING THE SITUATION AND REVERSED IT ON ME! and I just had enough that I payed and left she shouldn't treat customers like that I don't recommend letting her pierce you're ears. read more

My boyfriend got his ear pierced by Elizabeth and we both were very satisfied with how engaged she was on where He wanted them placed. Customer service was Amazing. They both let us know the deals that we're going on with all accessories. If you go into this Claire's for a piercing, ask for Elizabeth or Michelle, I wouldn't recommend Crystal, she was a bit rude. Everything in the store is made pretty cheap. The quality is not 5 stars but for the price, it's fine. Jewelry & accessories are cheap but super cute, especially for young teens & pre teens. I recommend getting your ears pierced, PROFESSIONALLY. I got my upper lobes pierced here, and the minute I got home, the left ear was hurting significantly more than normal. I figured they needed 3 weeks to heal, as was mentioned. I looked at them in a mirror and noticed the left one was actually pierced at an angle, that can only be seen from behind. Since it is at an angle, that earring is a tighter fit on that side (because she pierced into some cartilage towards the back of my ear). The tighter fit is preventing air flow, and keeping that ear constantly moist. (It still is not healing after 5 weeks) I called to see what they would do about an error they made, and she says, "we only correct errors if you tell us before you leave, same day." $75 for this type of service? Save yourself the time and money, and go to a professional place that cares about the quality of service they provide. And do keep in mind that pierce guns are less accurate than needles, especially when combined with minimal training. read more
