Even after moving away, we would often make the trip back just to have them inspect our car because we knew they would give us honest advice. A while back, a chain oil change shop told us we needed new brake pads. We came here for a second opinion, and they explained that the rust we were seeing was normal and would wear off with regular local driving. They were right. A year later, another shop again tried to sell us brake pads during an oil change. We immediately brought the car here, and after a thorough inspection, they told us the brakes still had about 2,000 miles left. That level of honesty is rare. Instead of recommending unnecessary repairs, they only suggest work that actually needs to be done. Their prices are fair, their workmanship is excellent, and most importantly, they genuinely care about their customers. If you're looking for a trustworthy mechanic, you can bring your car here with confidence. In an industry where it's hard to know who to trust, this shop has consistently proven that honesty still exists:)

I recently bought a Maserati Granturismo MC from Signature Pre-Owned. I knew this car inside and…read moreout long before this purchase, and I have kept an eye on this very model, both in person (in Italy & the US) and online. The experience I had with Victor at Signature Pre-Owned was exceptional. Yes, you could sometimes find a better price for similar models on auction websites such as Bring-a-trailer or Cars&Bids (this car was previously listed there as well), but if you pay a few bucks more, in exchange for a complete maintenance history, clear Carfax/CarVertical etc., and literally close-to-new mechanicals, appearance and presentation, this is the place to buy a car. Plus, in my specific case, I got an incredible deal, which made my family and the seller very satisfied. My recommendation: Before you buy, know and love the exact car you want, do your own research, and be clear about the price and what you are willing to discuss. I applaud Signature's clarity, professionalism, fairness, and competence (when I bought it, they even serviced it and ran al the diagnostics again with me present... during the Holidays!). I recommend them wholeheartedly. On a related note, if you decide to buy an Italian Masterpiece (as in the case of this Maserati), I recommend you ignore the rumors you might find online (such as poor reliability, constant issues, quirky or outdated electronics). In my life I was lucky and blessed to be able to own and drive German cars, US muscle, Japanese, French, and British cars, but... the Italians are just on a whole another level. The Granturismo MC is not only a beast (the Formula-1 sounding 4.7 L Ferrari-Maserati F136 Y MC spec is in my view one of the best engines, ever), but it is perfect. It has absolutely no issues to this day, runs perfectly, and there isn't a day where hearing its roar does not put a smile on my face (as well as my wife's and my kids'). I also believe that this Maserati is one of the best (if not "The" best) looking cars in automotive history.

Someone called me pretending to be GEICO and claimed they were adding my son to my insurance policy and explaining the premium increase. This person knew every detail of what had happened at the dealership, including my son's information, my insurance details, and my home address. The scammer was able to withdraw $548 from my bank account. Given how much confidential information they had, it strongly suggests that someone with insider access may have been involved. Unfortunately, my son was later in an accident, and the vehicle was declared a total loss. Thankfully, I purchased GAP coverage and an extended warranty. The accident occurred in early March, and it is now May. The dealership still has not completed its part of the process to apply the GAP and extended warranty funds toward the remaining loan balance. I have spoken with the warranty company, and they confirmed that they sent the necessary funds to the dealership back in March. Despite leaving multiple messages for both the finance department and management at the Nutley location, I have received no response. As a result, there is still an outstanding balance on the loan that should have been resolved months ago. I strongly urge anyone considering purchasing a vehicle from this dealership to proceed with caution. My experience has been extremely frustrating and concerning.

Updating my review after the dealership responded publicly asking me to reach out…read more Unfortunately, the experience has continued to decline. It took multiple calls (nearly 5 attempts) and about 30 minutes on hold just to get in touch with the General Sales Manager. This has been a consistent issue -- no one at the dealership answers the phone or returns calls, which makes resolving anything extremely difficult. When we were finally able to speak with Hussain, the information provided was inconsistent and misleading. We were told that a payoff check had already been sent to Mazda. However, after contacting Mazda Financial Services directly, we were informed that no payoff had been received and no payoff had even been requested until today. We were then given conflicting explanations (including that a check was sent to the "wrong location"), which does not align with what Mazda confirmed. Additionally, there was an attempt to shift responsibility onto the broker involved in the transaction. To be clear, the dealership is ultimately responsible for processing the payoff and completing the transaction correctly. That is the purpose of dealer fees, and this situation is entirely within the dealer's control. At this point, the issue appears to be a combination of poor communication, lack of follow-through, and inaccurate information being shared with customers. Meanwhile, the delay has resulted in a past due account and additional fees -- all of which should have been avoided if this had been handled properly from the start. Extremely disappointing experience overall. Proceed with caution.
