A new hole in the wall bar near home. Hooray! What you see is what you get with this place. Deep fried pickles are listed on the appetizer menu. Twice. Probably because they're damn good. Spear-style, not chip-style, with a crunchy batter and good ranch. Have them, you'll like them. Thin crust pizza that reminds you of your favorite hole in the wall bar back home. Only complaint? This place is exactly what you would expect from the wood paneling and attached liquor store - a dive. However, it is a dive with cheap beer and tasty thin crust pizza that is worth visiting if you happen to be in the area and hungry. It's a "come as you are" kind of place with warm waitresses and fast service, where you could linger for hours while getting countless refills on your beer. We don't make it to Jordan often, or really ever besides this one time, BUT if we do, we would totally come back for the pizza. read more

Clancy's is a great place. If you're looking for a place to stop in Jordan, I'd definitely suggest it. The restaurant has a darn nice feel, a great place to hang out and eat some pizza! Its been a tradition of my family to visit Clancy's on the way home from a tennis tourney. I'm always hungry going in, and feeling great heading out! I usually like a thicker crust personally, but the thin crust is their style and they do it well. I have never been overly concerned about the time it takes to prepare the pizzas. When theres a lot of people there it might take longer, but it shows that they're making great food too! This sort of small town pizza place is great. read more

it doesn't get much better than this for small town american food; the restaurant is even still polluted by cigarette smoke! it's glorious to choke some smoke and cancer down with your meal. fried chicken takes a half hour to make, but while you're waiting you can have have some fried mozzarella sticks or fried anything else you could dream of. aside from beer and pop served in cans, the main draw here is its delicious thin crust pizza. bonus: on and off sale liquor for sale. that's my kind of dessert. read more

The wife and I love to try new small joints in the area. We heard Clancy's had good reviews and food, so we went there for dinner on a Wednesday. Our pizza was made wrong and when we told the waitress, she acted shocked that we wanted them to make it over. So, after waiting a half hour for the first pizza, we waited 20 minutes for the second one. There was no apology and no one stopped by to refill our drinks. When I went to pay for the meal, there wasn't any deductions for the mistake, not to mention, the waitress short changed me. I didn't "expect" a discount, but it could have been offered for the inconvenience. I understand that mistakes happen, I've worked in the restaurant field. What surprises me was the annoyance that we actually wanted what we ordered. First impressions are big. We won't be returning to Clancy's again. read more

Happy hour deep fried pickle spears for 1.40! Im in. Above average bar food. Pizza is solid. Burgers are good (get the Rory). Dont expect fancy pants food, just order some motz sticks, a burger, and a soda and bring a 10 dollar bill. That will cover it. read more

We seated ourselves outside on the patio which was fine. Our waitress arrived promptly and took our drink orders. The iced tea was tasteless. We ordered onion rings to share but the different server didn't bring plates so we passed around the basket. Our original waitress only came back again after we were done with them. The ketchup tasted weird, like vinegar. We ordered the Audrey's pizza to share and that was very bland and the edges were burnt. Go there only if you have low expectations. read more

Decided to try their pizza since we are new to the area. Trusted the previous reviews here on Yelp and we were not disappointed at all. Their pizza is really good especially for an unassuming place. I would have liked a little spicier sausage in it but the flavor was very good. They also did not put huge amounts of sauce on it like some places and big chains do. We are looking forward to trying more of their food in the future. read more

The owner at Clancy's bar is a great person in Jordan Minnesota their broasted chicken is number one they're little skimpy on their French fries other than that it's sad to say that they're closed on Sunday hopefully they're open on Sundays in the future read more

Went on a Saturday night, the pizza was good and service was OK. as the place started to fill up. The wait staff seemed to moved towards the regular customers. Our food came out fast but other tables seemed to get partial orders. Price seemed good for the food. read more

Fast and attentive service. We ordered the Robin's nest (fried mixed basket of goodness) to start, then a pizza (which was perfect, sausage and pepperoni combo) and tried a little bit of chicken to follow. Perfection! If any other Yelper's complain about the wait time on chicken, it's clearly stated on their menu. The staff worked wonderfully, as a team, to give the best and most prompt service. This won't let me rate it 0 stars for which is deserves from what happened today (8-4-2017). I came in at 8:20 PM and ordered a 12 piece chicken dinner to go. I paid for my meal and the server (Shelley) said it will be ready in 25 minutes. I am the only person in the place ordering food. At 8:58 PM a different person asked me if I needed anything. I said that I am waiting for food since the person who took my order never checked on it. I can see the people from the kitchen walking by with baskets of food that they made for themselves. Shelley was told by the other person to check on my food and a few minutes later she came out with 2 To Go containers. I walked out to my vehicle and thought that it was strange that the containers were so light and I couldn't smell the chicken. I opened the containers in my vehicle and noticed that I had someone else's order for 2 cheeseburgers. I brought the food back in and told the server that I thought that I ordered a 12 piece chicken meal to go with fries and coleslaw. She said yes you did and looked into the containers. She went into the kitchen and came back out and said that the kitchen never received my order and that they turned off the equipment for the night. While this is going on the person who ordered the burgers showed up and picked up his food and left. Shelley told me that they could make me a pizza instead. I thought that I would have been offered a refund and a complimentary pizza. I had asked for a refund and that's all that was offered to me. Thank you for wasting my time. I do not think I will go back to this establishment again. read more

Thought we would stop while passing through... Wow what a mistake. Most of the food is bland, especially the pizza sauce. We had to get up to order more drinks, the server never came back. We even had to get up to pay the tab. Getting up was bad too, the older gentleman, maybe the owner, was a complete ass! Next time going to McDonalds or getting stale gas station food. Honestly one of the worst places you could possibly go. Like others, I love stopping in to small town joints at small town locations and while the family and I took a trip to MN largest candy store we decided to get lunch at Clancys. We had Rory as our server (or thats what it said on our receipt) and this guy is a delusional buffoon. I feel embarrassed for this place, the service is terrible, the food is all garbage. They don't make anything fresh here, everything is premade frozen items either thrown on a grill or deep fried and sent on out. I promise you they go to Wal-Mart and buy most of their items and they upcharge their customers. This is a not a place you should ever go for food or to ever subject your family too. Took 45 minutes to get food when there was only 2 other tables, never once was asked for refills on drinks, Rory obviously has a memory issue and cannot take an order to save his life since he messed up on multiple occasions. This place deserves 0 stars but because they give you your receipt with your food upfront so you can get the heck out of their as fast as possible you can get 1 star from me. read more
