The Claremont Pharmacy has been my go to pharmacy for many years. I've recommend them to folks in town, and my mother in law recently switched when she moved to Claremont. Nikki and her staff go above and beyond to renew prescriptions, answer questions, even suggestions with insurance coverage. They provide excellent service to the community. Nikki the pharmacist is an incredible person who actually cares about their patients, gets our medication almost immediately after doctors calls them. She once helped me and went beyond to get my migraine medication in the middle of an episode. Nobody at any pharmacy has ever cared before. After suffering and going thru rude and careless staff at different chain pharmacies like CVS, WALGREENS all over montclar, claremont, pomona, upland etc, where they don't even make an effort to ask for the correct spelling of patients names, faceless corporations where employees sees us as an annoyance. In general going to the Pharmacy is a laborious task, that fills me with much displeasure. However, while getting my Covid-19 booster shot at the Claremont Pharmacy they change my outlook. Located in the same plaza as Subway and Dollar Tree, this seemingly sleepy strip mall hides a diamond in the rough in the form of Claremont Pharmacy. I was getting my not-so-five dollar foot long sandwiches at Subway when I noticed a now open sign at a store down the way. Intrigued, I stopped by. Immediately upon entering, I was greeted by a bubbly young woman at the counter, whose name tag read "Michelle". "Hi, welcome to Claremont Pharmacy," she said, with a beautiful smile. Stunned by such radiance, I found myself unable to respond. "Uh..uh... a-uh.. Hi," I said awkwardly. "Oh God," thought I. "Why am I so awkward?!" After regaining my composure, the thoughtful and kind Michelle asked if I needed any assistance, while also explaining how Claremont Pharmacy was in the midst of a soft opening. I was then greeted by who I believe is the owner of Claremont Pharmacy: a woman wearing a white coat whose name tag read "Nikki". Nikki was so nice and inviting! She explained their intent to have a grand opening ceremony on July 31st, where raffles, food, gifts and refreshments would be offered! Though I had no need for prescriptions to be filed, their selection of bathroom toiletries and OTC medication, coupled with their friendly demeanor and inviting personalities have made a customer of me. I regularly go to CVS for these sorts of situations, but there are no chain pharmacies that will make you feel as welcome as Claremont Pharmacy. So go and support your local businesses! Give them a shot (they actually plan on providing immunizations in the future), you won't be disappointed! read more
