Then, as I'm signing the paperwork I notice a paper on their wall that breaks down the fee, and part of the fee included the fee for an inspection sticker. So I mention it to them and they said "ummm...yeah I guess I could have someone look at it". If I didn't mention it, they would have just taken the money and not inspected my car. They told me there was nothing wrong with the car I was purchasing (typical used car salesmans). When It came to pass inspection, it barely passed and they said I will need new breaks and a new exhaust VERY soon. Also, I had to repeatedly ask them to clean the car before I picked it up. It was so dirty with stains and animal hair on the inside, they weren't even going to do anything about it. My specific car needed a key for the trunk and they said they'd have to order it for me....that was over a month ago! I have been in touch with them multiple times and they said it was on order and hasnt come it. So I called where they "ordered" it from and they said they don't have an order in the system from them. So I called D's auto and come to find out they never ordered it because he "forgot"!!! They are LIARS and they are the stereotypical cheap, used car salemans...congrats on losing a customer. I don't suggest buying any cars from these guys, they might "forget" to give you good customer service.

This is, without question, the worst experience I have ever had with an auto body shop…read more I was referred to A&M Auto Body by my insurance company, Farmers Insurance, after my accident. Because they were a recommended repair facility, I trusted them with my vehicle. That was a mistake. When I got my car back, it had new damage that was not there before. The left side of my aftermarket wide-body bumper had been damaged and no longer fit correctly. Instead of acknowledging the damage, the shop claimed it was already like that when I dropped the vehicle off. That is simply not true. The problems didn't stop there. My dash cam no longer worked after they finished the repairs. The 10-amp fuse had been blown. My alarm siren stopped working because a wire had been cut and never repaired. While inspecting the engine bay, I found multiple wires that had been cut and left unrepaired. On top of that, my steering wheel--which cost me over $700--was scratched and scuffed while the vehicle was in their care. I take exceptional care of my vehicle and have extensive experience working on cars. I know exactly what condition it was in before it entered this shop, and I know what was damaged afterward. I contacted A&M Auto Body multiple times and spoke directly with the owner. Rather than taking responsibility and fixing the problems, I received excuses. I was eventually told they were waiting on one replacement piece from the manufacturer of my wide-body kit. It has now been over three months, and my vehicle is still not repaired. Waiting this long for a single part, with little meaningful communication or urgency, is unacceptable. To make matters worse, I paid a $1,000 insurance deductible expecting my vehicle to be repaired correctly. Instead, I got my car back with additional damage and had to spend months trying to get someone to take responsibility. I've also had to file complaints because the issues remain unresolved. The most frustrating part isn't just the poor workmanship--it's the complete lack of accountability. If a repair shop damages a customer's vehicle, they should own the mistake and fix it promptly. That never happened here. Based on my experience, I would never trust A&M Auto Body with another vehicle, nor would I recommend them to anyone. If you care about the quality of your vehicle and expect honest communication, attention to detail, and accountability, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere.
