The Sangria is as advertised...the best in town!! Our party of four ordered the Portugese sausage appetizer which was wonderful! Then we ordered two of the Combo 1/2 chicken 1/2 ribs with rice and french fries and a 1/2 BBQ chicken plate! This combo plate could easily feed two with left overs! For the price this was the best food I ate in NJ!! The fresh baked rolls were absolutely wonderful also! I would highly recommend this local establishment. My family orders from Clark BBQ at least once a week! Best chicken and ribs in the area. A full order is less than $15 and can serve several people, you can't go wrong. They're also not cheap like other places, they give you as much food can possibly fit in the container. They also have great sangria if you're dining in. This is an amazingly wonderful dining facility! I've had the good fortune to truly enjoy their BBQ Chicken [Frango Assado], BBQ Ribs [Entrecosto Assado] and Picadinho [Sautéed Pork Cubes] amongst a few of their other entrées and found them absolutely delicious and well worth the price! Wait staff at the restaurant were very polite, professional, knowledgeable and helpful in making suggestions... .although this is a small space, we've never had to wait long for a table. I went here for lunch and had half rotisserie chicken, it was pretty good. The place did get crowded quickly and tough to find seating if you get here after 12:30. I sat at the bar, though the waitresses were friendly, they had their own conversations going and not really focused on the customers. Since the food was good, I will likely return. read more

Ordered half chicken, rice, and french fries for pick-up. When we picked up our food it was freezing cold. Had to reheat everything at home. The chicken was dry and burnt and the fries were very soggy, as if they had been sitting in the container for hours. Rice was the best part and still wasn't great. i ordered 2 shrimp platters with brocoli and rice. i brought it home and it was not what i ordered. i called spoke to a manny he said no problem come in and we willredu the order. the manager was very nasty kras and beligerent to me. i told them i was a long time customer and he made me look like a liar. i brought it home and opened both platters up one of them looked like somebody gobbed in the platter. thats the end of going back there and i don t recommend anybody to go there. i threw both platters in the garbage. the place also is dirty and the board of health should make a visit there. read more

Food was average. Garlic shrimp dinner came dry with no extra garlic sauce. Fries were coated/bumpy fries (like bk old fries) that i hate and the rice was bland, could have used that extra garlic sauce to flavor the rice. DON'T GO HERE Went here last night for a take-out order. A year ago, I would've given this place 3 stars. But let me tell you why I am only giving it 1. First of all, the last 3 visits we noticed that the chicken pieces have shrunk at least 1/3 in size. Also, every time I go in there, the staff behind the counter waits until I wave at them before coming up to me (after a few minutes of my standing there looking at them and them looking at me). Not sure why....is it my height? Too short for them to see me even though I'm taller than the counter? My ethnicity? Each time, I observe whether they do that to other customers, and of course they don't. And finally.....I was notified this afternoon that there were a string of fraudulent charges on my credit card today (whether it has anything to do with the staff at the Clark BBQ is left TBD but let's just say that the charges started after last night's takeout from there, and I am not inclined to return there anytime soon). I've got 3 reasons to never return to this place. Too bad! read more

The meals comes in huge portions. The half portion looks like a full portion in a regular restaurant. The food was really good. The service was great. Child friendly restaurant. Ordered takeout, was told 20-25 minutes. Arrived at about the 25 minute mark, they were crowded, but yet every time someone called in, they said the same 20-25 mins. Sat inside until about the 50 minute mark then I asked how much longer. He said, I don't know , I'd guess another 15-20 minutes. I said we have kids home, he said I don't know what to tell you.
