Was updated on the progress, kept up-to-date of additional out of service parts which required replacement and finished ahead of schedule. Appreciate Steve and the Clark's Team not only for getting the old Jeep ready to hit the main road again with a complete engine rebuild, but also for giving me something to be proud of under the hood. See you in 500 miles for the first oil change.

Very shady business. STEVE will tell you what you wanna hear to come into the shop. I paid 18k plus for my build I was supposed to have a custom built transmission to handle my olds big block motor that's 1 part of the build I asked for a stage 2 shift kit and corvette servo wich i didn't get initially. With in the first 2 weeks my transmission leaked everywhere I get it back to Steve and he tells me the over filled it somehow ‍. I get the car back 2-3 weeks later my transmission is slipping like crazy get it back to STEVE again and now STEVE tells me the cable was getting pinched/binded like I'm at fault lol so we get to go back and fourth and he fixes it since he's the one that did the installed it. Needless to say I had to finally go to another shop to get the transmission built correctly. He also re did the rear end gears. The bearings on the axles was leaking after about 500 miles the axles and Housing had some pretty good nicks in them as seen in the picture. To top it off there employees have a habit of talking about other paying customers to other customers in a negative manner. There was an issue where STEVE tried to up charge me on parts I had no knowledge of being paid for or installed on my car with no comment so I refused to pay for those parts. But for some reason the employee wanted to bring me up to another customer talking about all I want is free stuff and that I complain to much AND I SHOULD BE HAPPY WITH WHAT I GOT !!!! NEEDLESS TO SAY I WILL NEVER LET ANYONE FROM THAT BUSINESS TOUCH MY CAR AGAIN THIS PLACE SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN OR AT LEAST GET A CREW THAT CARES ABOUT THERE CUSTOMERS INSTEAD OF GETTING OVER ON THEM TRAVIS J PLEASE KEEP YOUR REBUTTAL TO YOUR SELF. YOU GUYS ARE RUNNING SHADY BUSINESS I FEEL SORRY FOR YOUR ELDER CUSTOMERS THAT YOU GUYS ARE TAKING ADVANTAGE OF !!!!

Needed 90k service on my car. Clark's had been recommended by a friend and I was very pleased with the speed, service, and cost.

In terms of price, I'd say it is about average for what you'd expect out of a good repair shop - they worked on my car a full day and the whole thing ended up being around $1K total. Really great customer service by Nick and his team - I'll be coming back here in the future if I have any other car issues.

I went back to the shop 3 times over the course of ~9 months, each time discovering some issues and replacing the pad/disk (this is where i felt good about the shop, everyone welcomed me back and did the diagnose and replacement for free). I end up relacing the two front pad/disk with another brand (zimmerman? that's what i heard) and resolved all issues. Maybe I just got unlucky, but I have to leave my honest and true experience which exhausts me over the last year (imagine every time you back out of your garage and hearing this "click" sound from your brake system, with a baby in a car. You natually worries about your safety).

As of today Sam (who I believe is in charge, not sure if he's the owner) has been the only contact with the shop, has had my car for twelve weeks now with nothing completed.he diagnosed the problem the first day, gave me a quote. I zelled him a deposit, enough for the part and the labor. Five weeks later he informed me that the part had arrived, it was installed but didn't fix the problem. He explained the part was poorly rebuilt and needed to be returned and we had to wait for the refund to order a different part. At this time he informed me that the shop would be closed to honor the lunar new year. This was week seven when they returned to work still waiting for the refund to show up. It's was week nine he let me know that he couldn't find the part we needed and he had used my deposit money to pay bills and dint have any left to buy the part. To continue with the repair he said I had to find the part and pay for it on top of the $2000 I'd already gave him. Week ten I found the part , paid for it. A week later the part vendor located in Germany canceled my purchase stating the war in Iran made it too expensive to ship the part" find one in your own country " he's said. So I found the part , paid again and the part arrived at the begining of week twelve. After having the part in hand and knowing I've been without a car for three months he says he'll see if he can get me scheduled at the end of the week which at best the repair will continue into week thirteen. I've asked when he actually had me scheduled for and why couldn't he schedule me sooner? This was Monday the same day as the part arrived. He didn't respond until Tuesday when he said he was working on it so I could have my car to drive on Wednesday. Wednesday I called to see how it went and he said he'll text me later with an update. It's now Thursday of that week , I asked what's up and his response was and is " for me to relax, he's working on it. Sam has been rude. He's ignored me, he's disregarded what i wanted done and did what he wanted to my car. He took money from inted for parts that he never paid for and spent it on himself or the shop bills . I then paid for the parts additionally. He wont produce any kind of invoice to keep track of spenderatures. I've requested several times . When I told him he no longer has any authorization to do any more work on my car. The next text he sent me said he was going to work on my car anyway. I told him I was picking up my car to have it ready to be towed elsewhere. I'm so mad I can't even think. To be continued

I took my BMW one morning to get brake pads and rotors changed. I had taken it to a few other places and all of them wanted me to change all the pads and rotors. Nasir was very honest and told me my rear brake pads and rotors only needed changing. He showed me the wear and tear and explained the process. I was so pleased that he took the time to actually assess my car instead of just putting on extra services. He then ordered the parts and was able to get the job done on the same day in about 1.5 hours. My car drives so much more smoothly and I can feel the difference in my rear brakes! I was so relieved and the process was SO fast! My husband took in his Civic Type R to get his fenders rolled. Nasir and Bilal did a great job with that whole process and he got his car back the same day. He also had his rear brake pads done and was pleased with the entire service. The prices are quite affordable and fair- and most importantly they only do what is necessary. There is also a Yelp deal going on right now too :) I highly recommend First Auto Tire & Wheel for all car needs. You won't be disappointed. Thank you Nasir and Bilal!

I had already done my own diagnostics before drop-off -- swapped the coil pack and spark plug to other cylinders, misfire stayed on cylinder 2, ruling both out. He quoted $600 over the phone using his own parts, which I agreed to. When I showed up, he pulled a bait-and-switch: he would only honor the $600 price if I supplied my own part. I had an OEM Bosch fuel injector at home but hadn't brought it because the original agreement was that he would supply parts. He knew this and still changed the terms at drop-off, forcing me to go home, retrieve my own part, and return -- just to hold him to a price he had already quoted. I told him directly: I do not want this injector thrown in if it isn't confirmed as the cause. I want the misfire fixed. He acknowledged this. He then told me it was 90% likely the coil or plug -- the exact two components I had already tested and eliminated. He installed my injector anyway without confirming it was the fault. It didn't fix the misfire. The quote continued to change. $600 on the phone became $650 in person. He then added carbon cleaning and quoted $900 total. Later he texted $1,000. I had to remind him of his own quote -- he agreed and admitted he didn't remember what he said. I wrote "Cyl 2 misfire" on the work order as the service requested and signed it. He called at 2:25pm saying the car was fixed. I paid $900 and drove home with the engine stumbling worse than before. Scanned the car at home -- P0302 still active and confirmed. A new fault code also appeared that was not present before drop-off. I returned to the shop in good faith and gave them the opportunity to make it right before taking any further action. They refused. $900 paid. My own part used. Bait-and-switch on parts and price. Explicit instructions ignored. Misfire unresolved. Car running worse. BAR complaint filed.
