Do not go here, stay away from here. They are not professional in any sense. Maybe for an oil change. I took my Toyota Tacoma axles to be pressed out, yes pressed out. They were not able to do this. Instead they took a grinder and instead of carefully grinding them off they went medieval on it. They even took a torch to it. and at the end they still wanted to get payed. read more

I brought my car in last month for brake evaluation, the service was completed in a few hours and the final charges were similar to the quote I received. But after leaving, I still experienced similar issues with my vehicle. I called to check if I should bring the vehicle back in for another inspection, Brandon was very nice and told me to bring it in anytime. What surprised me was the next day, Greg - the one I initially completed the service was called me to check in to find out more about the issues I was having, and to check when I plan to bring the car in. I brought the vehicle back in today and Greg test drove it himself and helped serviced the vehicle again. I genuinely wanted to like this place because I needed a new mechanic and didn't want to go a distance for one. I had miscommunication with Greg, which I accepted and moved on from especially because he was such a great help in this process. Brandon, the owner, was helpful at first and offered to take care of the labor for doing the rotors because I initially only did the brakes but my car squeaked heavily. I took my car back FOUR times because the squeaking never stopped even with the new rotors and new brakes. Gregory did the brakes and rotors in the front of my car because that was the source of the squeak apparently. I go to pick up my car with Brandon and I take it for a test drive and it seems fine at first, but when I was previously working with Greg, I will take it for a couple days to make sure the squeak did not return. What I mentioned this to Brandon he needed to make sure that I pay because he was, I don't know, afraid that I was not gonna return and pay even though I returned four separate times to fix the same issue of my car. A bit off putting. I wanna say maybe a week later the squeaking returned and I haven't gone back since even though I know I should because I spent over $800 for the job and they should complete the job correctly, but it becomes exhausting because would be the fifth time I would need to take my car back for the same job and and to deal with Brandon and Greg again. Maybe the service would've been better if I didn't have that interaction with Brandon because Greg was amazing. read more

I really needed new brakes so I took my Mini Countryman to Autoland because they are convenient to where I work. They had a brake pad or rotor special that was better priced than the brake shop that is near my house. I was able to provide my own front and rear brake pads and front rotors. Not only are all the employees really friendly and attentive but they made sure to get me in quickly and made it a point to tell me they are full service which is exactly what I was needing for my car soon as well. Brandon guided me through my options in repairing the rear brakes on my 2020 BMW 330i, right before I had to return it back to BMW at year end, since my lease was up. He replaced my brake pads, my rotors were fine; he only suggested the minimum necessary work for my car, and he was less than 1/2 what the BMW dealership would have charged me, for the same or better work. These people I once thought were honest are crooks. Greg the receptionist and con artist because he has the gift of gad and can sell ice to Eskimos seems to be helpful and honest and get you all excited about them working on ur car or, in my case selling me one with oil leaks from the main seal. The one thing I ALWAYS ASK before buying a used car is does it leak oil. Greg offer a BMW that had been being repaired at this shop and thru this shop was being sold. He told me no. He also said it had a warranty still on the rebuilt transmission from only 2 years prior. Long story short, I paid for a rental car almost what I paid for the car he and the owner Brandom scammed me into buying and it leaked in my driveway the very forst day I got it home. Turns out it was the rear main seal. They claim after all the fake attempts to stop it from day one, and all the money I put into it, and then them COMPLETELY FORGETTING TO PUT THE COOLANT HOSE BACK ON AS WELL AS THE COVER FOR MY ENGINE AND THE BOLTS THAT HELD THE ENG8NE TOGETHER AFTER REPLACING THE GASKET THEN GIVING ME BACK THE CAR SAYING IT WAS DONE AS IT CAUSED MORE DAMAGE that they deny and refuse to fix, my car overheated and I had to pay a mobile mechanic. The bills weren't even finger tight. Not professional, very scary and could be life threatening with this sort of negligence should the people doing this work on somebody's car forget to put the lug nuts on ur wheels when working with them and cause a wreck. That alone is reason enough to not trust your car with these crooks. Greg made promises and then Brandon denied them. Then Greg denied ever saying them when Brandon was around. But would even make signs behind his back when I spoke to Brandon about such promises, as if to tell me n9t to worry he will fix it. But never did it get fixed. Less than a year later I had to pay to have this pile of u know what taken away after the serpentine belt broke and the a/c literally fell off right after the dynamic stability control went out after I just replaced the ABS module and the engine gaskets and coolant resevoir hoses. And still, the same leak that was on the same spot on my driveway that they denied ever having the very first day I got it, was still leaking right there on the last at its final death. I used to rave about these guys. Now I realized I was being played and this place is nothing more than a rip off and hit and miss which eventually could end in a tragic situation so if u go here make sure to check all nuts and bolts and lug nuts included as well as ur hoses and clamps and seals BEFORE driving off their parking lot. AND NEVER EVER BUY A VEHICLE FROM THEM. TO THIS DAY THEY BOTH DENY SELLING IT THERE AT THEIR BUSINESS AND DENY THAT THEY SOLD ME A LEMON AND THEY KNEW ABOUT THE LEAK. if they didn't know of the leak and they said they were the ones to do the repairs to this car for years, then that says sometj8ng about how good, or not good, they really are doesn't it? Think about it. Brandon's demeanor is cocku and cheap. Greg's is low class and schmoozey at best. Be aware, don't get played cuz they aren't into customer satisfaction should they mess ur car up. read more

This is not a business that I will patronize again. I had two bad experiences that demonstrated to me that either the level of competency was lacking, or that the owners of this business are too overworked to focus on their work product. EXAMPLE 1: A basic air conditioning service on a Corvette. They filled the system with refrigerant and in very short time, the system was blowing warm air. I took the car back, and they found a broken hose in plain sight. A basic part of A/C service is to evacuate the system to ensure that there are no leaks before adding freon which in the presence of a leak will go right into the atmosphere, while burning $150. They did not conduct the leak test long enough or at all. That is a basic competency issue. Worse, when I picked up the car, they left the system open, a basic no-no for AC -- which meant that I had to buy a new receiver/dryer. On the drive home, I found that they had disconnected my pop-up headlight connector and left it, and a second harness, disconnected. EXAMPLE 2: A basic cooling system flush on a Ford Prior to the flush, the truck did not overheat. After the flush, it ran hot. I took apart the system today. It is full of deposits and gunk. The flush was superficial at best. When I picked up the truck, the coolant was green. Today, it is bright orange with coagulated particles in it. And the truck runs hot. These are bad experiences, and the operations, on two different vehicles, were both very basic. I believe that the owner of this business would try to make these errors right - that is important to state. However, I do not have confidence that they possess the focus or craft to do the work correctly. I do not trust their work and in 3 visits, each time my car and or my wallet took backward steps. read more

I could not be happier with my experience at Autoland! The dealership told me I needed new breakpads but didn't have an appointment that fit my schedule. When I called Autoland for an appointment, they let me pick my day and totally worked around my schedule. Shortly after dropping it off, I got a call from them saying my breakpads looks great and didn't need to be replaced. They said I easily had another 5 or so months left on the current pads and there was no need to change them now. When Inpicked up my car, they didnt even charge me for looking at it. As a woman, who knows little about cars, it's always nervewracking taking your car in because you don't want to be taken advantage of. I started coming here on a friend's recommendation a couple of years ago. They do good work and are pretty fast. The only downside is that they don't take appointments so cars are worked on in the order they come in. They will spend the time with you to answer questions and give quotes. I brought my car in asking them to prepare it for trip over the Canadian Rockies next week and I had a list of things to do. Came to this place To get my AC fixed. It seemed to be leaking freon after I've charged it 3 days ago and now it's empty. Greg said "We'll find the leak and fix it for $39.95" and also emphasized on how long he's been working on AC systems (25 years). He told me to to drop it off in the morning in two days. Meanwhile I took my car to another mechanic to take a look at it and found a leak on the back of the compressor area the mechanic quoted me $750 for parts and labor (to replace the whole compressor) The next day I drove all the way from hayward thinking I was going to save a ton of money on fixing my AC with Greg. When I got there i wanted to make things clear since he said " We"ll find the leak and fix it for $39.95" I thought there could be some gimmick behind this . When I told him it seems to be leaking near a bolt on the compressor he instantly said " Oh yeah you're going to have to buy a new compressor and that's going to run you $950. Trust me. I've been working on AC systems for 25 years. Unless you want to pay $40 I'll end up telling you the same thing." * At this point I wanted to slap a hoe*. I ended up going home and did some research..turns out all I had to do is replace an o,ring on the high pressure line that connects to the compressor. My 2004 subaru Legacy was having overheating issues the first time I took it in 17 months ago, he said the radiator seal will prevent a $3,000+ hear gasket job (notorious Subaru issue) for $350 he bought my car an extra $20,000 and counting! I own a carpet cleaning company and my radiator went out. This happened around 1pm on Wednesday June 17th. The timing could not have been worse as I was starting a $4k job for one of my clients. It was for a school and they had moved everything. Finding parts for a carpet cleaning truck mount machine is so difficult. I did not have many options as ordering a new radiator from the manufacturer would have taken over 4 days to get. I was frantically trying to get this fixed as my father-in-law and I removed the radiator. I called many different places and drove to a few as well with no luck. I called 1-800-radiato and they referred me to AutoLand. I called them and spoke to a gentleman. I forgot his name but he told me, "we fix these things all the time" so I rushed down there because they were closing and I had less than 10 minutes to get there. I explained to him that I had a huge project "$4k job" that I was starting the next day. He said, "no problem"! "We'll have it fixed by 10am tomorrow"! That was music to my ears. I had been taking my Honda Odessey minivan to the dealer ever since I purchased it in 1999 but decided to give Autoland a try about a year ago. They did a great job, very competitvely priced, and were professional and informative. I have been going there ever since and have recommended them to all my friends. One thing I really appreciate is their honesty. I'm always wary of car repair places trying to push services on me that I don't really need. With Autoland, I don't have to worry about being taken advantage of.
