Yuuumm! So glad I came here! Three of us went and it's a cute little place with a great Breakfast! We started with the Cinnamon Streusel Muffin. It comes with the butter but I'd skip it next time. It's so tasty it doesn't need it. I loved the Breakfast Sandwich. The over medium eggs had a perfect cook, the bacon is thick and the roll is soft. Sooo tasty and not too big. I want it again! My hubby had the Bacon & Egg combo. He said it was all good except the potatoes were flavorless and needed salt and seasoning. Mom had the biscuits & gravy with two eggs. They have good gravy. Nice flavor balance! They have a tight parking lot for a big pickup truck and not much street parking. The staff is really friendly. I can't wait to try more of their menu!

This small home style diner was extremely busy when we arrived, and parking was very limited but the food made it completely worth it. My favorite item was the cinnamon streusel muffin, served warm with butter melting on top. It honestly tasted like heaven. Despite how packed the place was, the service was outstanding. The staff was incredibly kind, our food came out quickly, and they were great about refilling drinks and coffee. Such a cute, welcoming diner. I would definitely come back.

Small town feel diner with huge portions. The staff is friendly and the food quality and service is excellent. Pricing is on point for quality, quantity, and selection. Parking can be a pain, but worth waiting for a space or finding one off site.

If you are a breakfast person, don't miss this place. You may have to wait a bit on a weekend, but WAIT! It's totally worth it. Of course if you prefer lunch, you can find great lunch food here as well. read more

Nice, friendly local restaurant - met a friend who lives locally for breakfast there on Sunday. Arrived at 8:00 AM"ish" and the place was busy but still no wait time. Very friendly service - and you won't need to ask for coffee as the wait staff are constantly circulating to bring more. That's a great thing. Prices are fair. The cinnamon muffin was really good - took more than half of it home - and it was just as good later (heated, served with vanilla ice cream!). The food is good - not amazing - portions are good (not huge - also a good thing) and seemed fairly priced. I would be happy to go again. read more

I love this place.. The Warm coffee cake with butter dripping off of it, is to die for!.. I like the food, it has great service, very friendly staff. They care about their business!. Tried this place today for the first time. Had no idea they had just opened 2 days ago! Looks like they are off to a good start! The place is decorated nicely, open and welcoming and somewhat retro. Very busy. Had to wait a bit for order to be taken and quite a while for the food to make it to the table, but staff was lovely and made up for it. Hostess was very sweet as well! Tried the cinnamon muffin topped with a butter to hold us over! Yummmm! Hubby ordered the corned beef hash with eggs, son got a bacon cheeseburger with fries and I ordered a bacon and cheese omelette. Entrees were very good home style cooking. Giving 4 stars just based on the wait this time, but this would not stop us from coming back! read more

This was my first time at this restaurant. We ordered french toast breakfast from the kids menu. The French toast was delicious. For my husband and I, we ordered corned beef hash and breakfast with two eggs. Their corned beef hash was the best I've ever had. Little Gem in Yucaipa. Right when we walked in it felt so homie and comfy. Erika greeted us and sat us down and even just waking to our table with her was awesome joking around. Then we met our waitress Myra she is by far the best waitress we have ever encountered. So down to earth, great sense a humor and just so humble. We loved her and would come back just because of her. This establishment is lucky to have her and Erika they make it great. Now let's talk about the food. Food coma 100%. Everything we had was great even the freaking water lol. I got the Spanish omelet with Chile verde recommenced by Myra and it was yummy. Hubby got the corned beef hash and he devoured that sucker and my little brother got the breakfast sandwich on the jalapeño bread also recommended by Myra and he loved it. I dont know which one he loved more Myra or his breakfast still up for debate. Thanks again Clarkies for making our quick stop on the way to the desert for a bite to eat so freaking delicious! The streusel muffin was delicious and I would give it a 5 but everything else was disappointing. Everything tasted like it had been frozen or canned. My friend and I had a breakfast scramble that was flavorless. The potatoes had absolutely no seasoning. The only reason I'd come back here is the muffin. The service was ok. read more

I hesitated to go in after seeing the "B" grade this restaurant has. My family was really hungry so we went in and ordered. The service was wonderful and it was full of patrons. But the pancakes my kids got where so rubbery and tasted like old flour! They did not eat them and for kids to not eat their pancakes that is a big deal. My husband immediately suffered food posining ( stomach pain and diarrhea) as we drove home from our family breakfast trip to Clarkies. That will be our last visit there for sure. read more

We had a great breakfast here this morning. The egg scrambles are good, and the service is awesome. The star of the place is definitely the streussel muffin served hot with a scoop of whipped butter on top. I would drive a few hours to get this one item, but it's in the town I live in. Found this gem while being detoured em route home to OC. 5 stars all around! Service was amazing! Our meal was everything comfort food should be. No matter how full you may get, do not leave without having one of their cinnamon streusel muffin! It was served hot, buttery & tasty! It'd say it pairs well with everything on their menu though . They have a full bar as well as regular draft beers with multiple rotating local draft beers. Good selection of beer to choose from. The patio seats give you a great view of the mountains, and you can people watch as they walk up and doen the boulevard. It's on my rotation of places to always stop into!

The young girl bringing out the order was friendly and asked if we needed anything else. I have actually been here a few times and each time has been a nice experience. The fee itself isn't much, but that isn't the point -- it's the principle. If you're going to charge a fee for anything, it should be clearly disclosed. I'm posting our receipt below. You can see our order came to $35.77 and we paid $3.13 in tax, which should total $38.90. However, the total charged to our card was $40.07. I find it impractical to place a steak atop a piece of paper, such that as you attempt to cut the meat (or burger) with a serrated knife, your knife shreds the paper beneath, resulting in the kife catching & paper becoming 'one with your steak'. As far as the service is concerned, it's a small restaurant, so, if it's not busy (a good likelihood) service is good.

We ordered two bánh mì sandwiches (shrimp and lemongrass beef) along with an order of four fried egg rolls. Their fired egg roll option are only available in either shrimp or pork. They were tasty, but I would have loved to see a chicken option on the menu as well. One thing to note: jalapeños are automatically added to the bánh mì, so be sure to request no jalapeños when ordering if you're sensitive to spice. The seasoning and flavors in both bánh mì sandwiches were excellent, and all of the vegetables served with the bánh mì and egg rolls were fresh and crisp. In my opinion, it's often the little details like fresh produce that reveal the quality of a restaurant, and this place definitely delivered. We arrived around 7:30 PM and were a little concerned that we might feel rushed since it was getting close to closing time. Fortunately, that wasn't the case at all. The staffs allowed us to enjoy our meal at a comfortable pace, and we never felt pressured to leave. The dining area had two TVs showing family-friendly programming--one featured a Vietnamese cooking show, while the other was airing FIFA coverage on a news channel. It created a relaxed atmosphere, and we enjoyed a calm dinner with our 3- and 6-year-old children after a long day at the lavender farm. I also tried the Orange Thai Iced Tea. It was refreshing, though I didn't really notice much orange flavor. There are two individual single-stall restrooms available, and both were clean. Families will also appreciate that high chairs are conveniently located near the sauce and drink station. Overall, we had a very enjoyable experience and would definitely return. Next time, I'd love to try their pho!

(Probably from Costco or a restaurant supplier) Have driven by the restaurant at a different time. They are located on County Line Road. If we are staying in an Airbnb in Yucaipa, would likely Doordash from here again.

You walk up to the window and ring the bell to order, which is kind of cool. The owner, Joy, is amazing. She's super friendly and welcoming, and you can tell she really cares. She helped us pick what to order, explained the menu, and answered all our questions without rushing us at all. We asked about gluten-free options and she actually came out to our table and went over everything with us, which I really appreciated. We ordered the mala noodles with beef, drunken noodles with chicken, papaya salad, and sticky mango rice.. and everything was seriously so good. Like, some of the best Thai food I've had. The food was fresh, light, but still filling. We got medium spice and it was perfect. We also tried the green tea and it was ridiculously good. Honestly, the food was so good we forgot to take pictures until we were basically done! Between the food and how nice Joy was, this place is an easy recommendation. You can tell she puts a lot into her business. We'll definitely be back, and next time we're bringing friends and family.

Clarkie's Diner is probably the best breakfast spot in the city, hands down. The prices are very reasonable for the quality and portions you get, which makes it an easy choice whether you're going out casually or for something a little more special. The inside is very spacious and clean, which I appreciate, especially when you're bringing family. It's almost always packed with customers, but that really just says everything you need to know about how good the food is. One thing you absolutely have to try is the cinnamon streusel cake. It's incredible and honestly worth the trip even if you're coming from out of town. This has become our go-to spot for special occasions with family, and it never disappoints. read more

10/10. Foods always good, and fills you up with more to spare. The waitresses are all super kind hearted, and who I presume is to be the head hocho, he seems to be an overall likeable guy. Ive taken some family here, and they have all had nothing but good to say about the diner. And I personally love the overall feel of it. It gives off a cozy touch when you walk through, and I makes the experience even better. To top it off, there is also this really cute hostess. We have math together so maybe Ill ask her out. Stopped by Clarkies Diner for breakfast and had a pretty good time. The pancakes were perfectly fluffy, and the bacon was just the right amount of crispy--exactly what I needed to start my day. The staff were super friendly, and even though it was busy, they kept things moving without making anyone feel rushed. I treated myself to a cinnamon streusel muffin, which was tasty, but it could've been warmer. My only small gripe was the coffee; it just wasn't as strong as I'd hoped. The salads are both generous and have quality ingredients, i.e. the turkey or chicken is actually roasted meat, not lunchmeat, like some places. I was definitely not a fan of the homestyle fries. Just unseasoned crumbled baked potatoes. They filled half the plate! Didn't seem fried at all. I expect some crispy bits in Fried Potatoes.
