For the first time, I'm intentionally putting my health first -- and the investment has been well worth it. What I appreciate most is that the workouts are challenging without being intimidating. I never leave feeling defeated or so exhausted that I dread coming back. The format allows you to push yourself at your own pace, with a strong foundation in controlled, calisthenics-based movements. I also value the focus on balance training, stretching, and mindfulness. It really is a complete, well-rounded workout. Most of all, Julie, the instructors, and the women I've met here are incredibly supportive and welcoming. I'm so grateful I found this community, and I look forward to continuing my journey here.

The owner, Julie, is incredible and her dedication to the studio shows. Every workout can be modified to your specific needs or issues. I started over a year ago when I had a family situation that was taking a mental toll on me and the Bar Method Clayton Valley was exactly what I needed both mentally and physically. Ya'll this place will get you in shape in no time. I tried the Lagree class. The instructor was so nice and allowed me to switch over from the Climb x Boot Camp class when I showed up. I was also able to purchase a pair of grippy socks onsite for about $10. The music was good, the lingo will take sometime to learn, but I appreciated the instructor coaching me and helping to position me in the right position, and gave me words of encouragement. There was only 7-8 ppl in the class so I wonder what it's like when it's full. I appreciated the work out bc it challenged me to push myself just a bit more. I had a good sweat and worked my upper body to the point where my arms were going to give out on me, half way through but I kept pushing just a little more. I appreciated that there was no pushy sales person trying to get me to purchase a membership. Now I can give it sometime and a proper think. Everyone was pleasant and professional from the staff to the members in the room. Nicolette was subbing from Danville and she was a great instructor. Provided me with a quick history about how Lagree was established. I definitely hope to come back and try the climber/boot camp class.

Returning to the Megaformer even after hundreds of classes is still a VERY humbling experience. The slow and intentional movements of the Lagree method have left me with Bambi legs on multiple occasions. On days I need more cardio, I take the Climb X Bootcamp classes, which also give me an effective full-body strength workout. CB Fit is always constantly adding, modifying, and evolving with the times. Whether they're adding new equipment, upgrading to the Lagree 2.0 format, or incorporating client feedback, their constant commitment to improvement is why I'll definitely keep showing up.

The studio is on the second floor and the door to enter is right by yummy boba. I loved the different movements I got to do in class this morning. Alex always make me feel energetic and happy during and aft the Zumba class. He has an upbeat…read moreattitude and he greets everyone with a welcoming smile and greeting. He makes everyone involved during the dancing with visual cues. No boring moments here. He changes the class format often so that we are not rooted all the time in one spot. His music aware all queued up so there are no prolonged lulls or waiting between songs. Very professional. He starts on time and bathroom is clean with adequate parking.

I picked up running but here's the thing y'all, I'm not good at it and I'd have to run for about an hour to really get a good sweat in. My neighbor next door begged me to try this class out with her which I proudly declined. Me?! At a Zumba class?! Not happening! To make a long story short, it happened y'all lol! But my god I sweated so much. You would think running would be more of a challenge but NEGATIVE y'all Jessica the instructor got me. Before this class I thought ZUMBA was just dancing but picture that, plus leg day and and shadow boxing all at the same time. At times I wanted to give up but Jessica did a great job at keeping us all motivated. Her music selection was top notch as well. I recall going from 90's Hip Hop n R&B, to today's music and Spanish music. I was impressed! Her motor never stopped running which made us want to go just as hard. I'm now 3 classes in and not shy about attending her class. She'll challenge you and I'm always up for a challenge. And as an added bonus, My body fat has already dropped 1%. Woot woot!!
