My husband booked a last-minute appointment through their website and was in the barber within 3 hours of setting it. They have a pretty cool online booking system where you have the option of choosing your barber and a time slot. It was my husband's first time so he went with the first available barber - Steven. Steven was very professional and skilled. I see a handful of Yelpers complaining about having to wait a bit for their cut even though they made an appointment. We witnessed today how some people arrived later than their scheduled appt. which leads me to believe it screws with the barber's schedules. In other words, arriving late intervenes w/ the barber's schedule and customer's appointments but it's not really the barber's fault if people don't arrive on time. Clearly they choose not to turn people down who do arrive late which evidently shows they're trying to manage all appointments as best as they can. People should practice patience and be mindful of things that are sometimes out of ones' control. My husband waited approximately 10 minutes after his scheduled appointment - woopty-doo, he lived to tell. $25 for a haircut which is a wonderful price considering it restored his confidence. Honestly if you aren't getting a haircut here, you're playing yourself. These guys are a rare group of great barbers in this city! Best suggestion is to book online as they are always getting booked. Says a lot about a barbershop if they are always booked right? Rarely will they take walk-ins since they are 99% always booked, so book online, can't stress it enough! If your appointment is at 1pm they'll cut you at 1pm or little over if they are behind. These guys are very friendly and approachable, their customer service skills in my opinion is A1. Price is what you would pay for a premium haircut and beard trim combo ($35). Even that is probably little less than other barbershops that can't fade you correctly. Any barber is good! My guy is Oswaldo who is the co-owner with Hector. They also sell pomade and other hair products at about the same price as Amazon. Quit playing yourself and get a cut here!! read more

I drove 20 minutes from weho to come to this place because they have good reviews and got the worst haircut of my life. He used thinning sheers down to the scalp on the top of my head. It was about 2.5" on top when I walked in, he said he'd take about 1/4-1/2 inch off the top, I'm left with about .5 - .75 inch on top and it looks like a plucked chicken. I can't style it at all, I look like a q-tip, fuzzy and unmanageable. He apologized and I didn't pay but it looks awful and I have to wear it on my head while it grows out for the next two months. He tried to put a bunch of product in it to style it but it didn't work, still looks fuzzy and horrible. Don't be fooled by the reviews here, go somewhere else. read more

When a new barbershop popped up in my neck of the woods, I had to give it a shot. I try to stay away from the places that can give you frosted tips and this place seemed legit. I came in on a Sunday morning and was next in line. I sat on their comfortable couch and listened to the decent tunes they had playing. The haircut itself was great (and, most importantly, wife approved). They finished the cut with a straight razor on the back of the neck and sideburns. I'll definitely be back next time I need a trim. Hopefully they'll get a decent sized television in there but they're just getting started. A friend of mine recommended that I check out this barbershop and figured with a haircut being long overdue I'd give it a shop. Definitely glad I took that recommendation. He was a tad bit late due to traffic but he more than made up for it with attention to detail and the extra time he took to make sure I looked clean and good. Apparently, the barbers were completely booked when I came in for a cut and the next opening was at 6 since I didn't have an appointment.
