I'm giving Classic Burgers four stars because this place has been a staple for me for years and it still hits the spot every single time. If you know, you know. It's one of those dependable neighborhood spots that you keep coming back to because the food is comforting, filling, and consistently good. I've been coming here for well over 15 years and it's always been that place you think of when you just want something solid that won't disappoint. The food itself is exactly why people love this place. Everything tastes best fresh, especially the fries and the teriyaki bowl. That's the kind of food you want to sit down and enjoy right away, not throw in a bag and rush out the door. Which brings me to the only reason this isn't a five star review. We showed up with about 30 minutes left before closing and were told we couldn't sit in the dining area, even though it was still open. That felt a little off and honestly kind of disrespectful, especially when the food is meant to be eaten fresh and hot. That said, the food was still really good, even to go, and I'm still recommending this place without hesitation. It's right there in the same shopping center as 85°C Bakery, super easy to find, and absolutely worth trying if you're in the area. Please try it. Seriously. This place has earned its reputation over the years and it's a true classic for a reason.

Solid place to get your burger, fries and onion rings fix. The lady behind the counter was friendly and welcoming. There are a few tables inside and outside to eat. Would def come back!

I see this place all the time whenever I'm at the Dave's Hot Chicken so I finally decided to give it a shot. The chili burger reminded me a lot of a Famous Star, which on the surface isn't the worst comparison. It was serviceable and gods know Famous and Super Stars got me through college so I'll never badmouth them. Where I think it fails is the chili. It was just far too thin. The flavor was okay but It was broth-like instead of Sloppy Joe-like and that's no bueno. It just kept falling out of the burger far too easily. The space is kind of small with not many tables. I tried to read inside but it felt very cramped and that I was occupying valuable table space. And as usual, if I can't read in a place there's very little chance it'll become a regular haunt of mine. At least the staff was nice enough and seemed generally interested that I enjoyed my meal and didn't have any bad experiences. I wish I could rate a burger joint on personality of its workers because I'd bump this place up a star.

The classic chili cheese burger combo. $12.99 a bargain in today's world!

A great "classic" burger stand that serves so much more than burgers. You won't leave hungry. Big portions, but no compromise on ingredients. Very reasonably priced with 1/4 lb burgers starting at $6.99. Combos at 10.99. Very friendly staff. No ordering kiosks here!

Classic Burger is affordable and filling. I ordered the Sausage Breakfast Burrito ($8.99). The breakfast burrito includes hash browns, cheese, egg, and sausage. The Sausage Breakfast Burrito tastes like soft potatoes and cheese. The meat is an afterthought; the meat content is small. The flavor is mostly cheese and potatoes. The cheese masks the eggs' flavor. However, Classic Burger's breakfast burrito is above average since the hash browns are cooked decently. It's convenient food that's generous in its potatoes. Service is mixed. I arrived on a weekday (near 9:00AM). The breakfast burrito arrived quickly. It took 2 minutes. The cashier looked rushed and frustrated; the location is not the most welcoming. The location is cramped, but it's clean. There's tables inside and outside to eat. Classic Burger is connected to a busy plaza, so parking is nearby but busy. And there's several designated pickup parking spots. Overall, Classic Burger offers affordable and filling food. The food, service, and ambiance is unremarkable, but it's convenient if nearby.

I was curious about this place because it seems like a hole-in-the-wall burger spot and it looked like it would hit. I waited in line for a long time even though I was the only person in line but it seemed like the workers were really busy or the system wasn't too efficient. But I got a burger combo and the price was pretty good. I could see the cook making the patties and constructing the burger which made my appetite grow. The interior is really small, only like two or three tables. My burger and fries were really yummy and it did hit.

It's been years since I've been here and decided to stop by today and I did not regret it This place still has the same great taste I recommend the teriyaki but the burgers are awesome place is small but clean old school look service was great don't be shy give it a try.

Very disappointed during this visit. My family and colleagues have been coming here for years and never had a bad experience to today. Notice they started skipping on the portion of chilli cheese fries and the actual cheese. I asked for extra cheese and they charged me $2.75. Very disappointed! I understand inflation but this is ridiculous.

The definition of a hole in the wall, if a freestanding place could be described as a hole in the wall. Typical burger joint and Mexican food. Food is decent and reasonably priced. It is busy and has very limited seating inside, patio outdoors, though. The employees are friendly, working hard serving food to real people! Not flashy.

It's a no frills fast food burger joint. I was in the area and wanted to try this place since it's been in this area for a long time and I wanted to know if it could be as good as in n out. It's not by any means but I at least gave it a try. My classic burger was a little overcooked and the fries were cold by the time I got there to pick it up. Service was quick as the line was short since I placed my order after the lunch rush. They have four pickup parking spaces for themselves and many other parking spaces for this shopping center but because there are so many other restaurants in the plaza its hard to find parking.

    Small Chili cheese fries

I was waiting for my wife in this plaza and was craving a quick take out type burger. I got a cheeseburger and a small chili cheese fry for about $12.50. First bite was reminiscent of a slightly upgraded and fresher (due to veggies) McDonald's cheese burger. I would skip the chili cheese fries. The chili cheese fries were kind of bland and nothing special. Plaza is busy so parking may be tough on weekends but there are some takeout parking spots as well as indoor and outdoor seating if you're eating there. One extra star for fast efficient service.

not only were they burnt, but look at ghe amount they gave me
    Stina G.

I've been coming here for 20+ years the burger never disappoint,s but I was shocked on the amount of fries I got and they were burnt .. The price did go up and I didn't mind paying, I figured it's a small business 11.95 for a burger combo it's OK but I think next time i'll stay on the freeway and it will be a minute before I come . My local burger joint is 3$ less they are not shy w their french fries and they are not Burnt! I am glad I didn't come with my family . Sorry guys you lost my business at least for a couple more years before I stop by. But I do recommend Angelos Burgers In Pomona for 8.95 burger fries drink

We started with guacamole and chips and fish tacos, then shared a big platter with carne asada, grilled chicken, cheese, nopales, grilled cebollitas and more, along with rice and beans. There was plenty of food to share, everything came out beautifully presented, and everything we tried was delicious. We finished with the churros, which were also really good. The drinks were very well made and actually nice and strong! I appreciate that because so many places serve drinks that taste watered down, and that definitely wasn't our experience here. The restaurant itself is really cute and has some great signs and backgrounds for pictures. We got some really nice group photos for our social media, and one of the employees even volunteered to take a picture for us so we could all be in it, which was really sweet. Even the girls' restroom was super cute and nicely decorated. You can tell they put thought into the little details throughout the place. Our waitress, Marissa, was wonderful from beginning to end. She was sweet, attentive and made sure we were taken care of throughout the night. The other employees we interacted with were also very friendly and helpful. I'm really happy our first experience here was such a good one. I would definitely come back for another girls' night, but I could also see myself coming back with my husband and kids for a family dinner. Definitely a place I would recommend.

Host and waitress were really friendly. We ordered the calamari, molcajete with a Jamaica. Calamari: 5/5 This appetizer was a great way to start our celebration. It was crispy enough to keep you wanting more. The flavor wasn't too fishy and it was accompanied by some tasty dipping sauces. Would definitely order again. Molcajete: 4/5 A favorite at our table that was filled with so many protein options and a nice salsa to pair with. We loved the chicken, chorizo, and the queso!! The only reason it got a 4/5 was because the steak was waaaay too salty which made it hard to enjoy. The shrimp was a nice touch, also not too fishy and the bacon paired nicely. You can definitely taste a variety of flavors and it's also a big enough portion to share! Comes with beans and rice which we ended up splitting with our kiddos. Jamaica: 5/5 We loved the Jamaica here and it tastes very traditional. It doesn't taste like it's made from powder and comes in a huge glass cup. Not too sweet and the bold flavor of the hibiscus makes it hard to stop drinking! Loved it. Overall, a great place to dine in for celebrations or just for a nice dinner. Would definitely recommend if you're nearby. I hope to come back soon.

Severely overrated, omg. Wife and I came in for a sandwich…read moreand boy was this place underwhelming. First red flag we noticed is that they use Lavazza machines for their coffee drinks. Lavazza might as well be the sugary gimmicks Starbucks can pull off on their best days. You're paying for the name, not the quality of your drinks. Next red flag was the counters behind the 'baristas.' They were stocked with buckets of sugary ingredients like some store bought cookie butter stacked on top of some other store bought 'dubai' butter. That seemed a bit unsanitary and, frankly, kinda sloppy. Last red flag were the sad, sauce-soaked paninis we got. In fact, they were probably the worst paninis we've ever had. Our chicken chipotle avocado panini was drenched in what clearly tasted like store-bought chipotle sauce and the chicken just tasted like reheated chopped breasts (I mean I wouldn't blame them, they're a cafe, not a kitchen.) The mango habanero panini was even worse in that it was more drenched in what also tasted like store-bought habanero sauce, making the panini a dripping mess. But the choice of using what tasted like candied dried mango slices in the sandwich was awful. The flavors just did not marry and it's likely because this is what happens when you have a great idea, but use crap and cheap ingredients to craft something. Maybe they are better known for some other dishes, but the fact that they use store-bought sauces on their sandwiches is pretty tacky. Overall, this place is all hype and no heart. Just a steady flow of clout-chasing customers akin to those that frequent Starbucks as part of a lifestyle. Don't fall for the hype. It's okay to not like something that the masses do.

It wasn't packed at all around 5 PM on a Thursday, which was perfect for a little after-work dinner. The restaurant has a cool, casual Mexican vibe, and our waitress was super friendly and attentive throughout the meal. La Cosecha Molcajete -- $39.99 | 7/10 This was actually my second time ordering the La Cosecha Molcajete, so I already knew what I was getting into! A molcajete is basically a sizzling stone bowl filled with grilled meats, seafood, veggies, cheese, and a flavorful sauce--all served together so you can mix and match every bite. This one came loaded with skirt steak, chicken, two shrimp, cactus, cheese, and chorizo, along with a side of rice and beans. I also asked for both flour and corn tortillas, but only received the corn tortillas. Flavor-wise, it was decent! I've had molcajetes at several other Mexican restaurants, and I'd say this one was good but not my favorite. The sauce was flavorful, but I've definitely had better sauces elsewhere. Still, there's something fun about having a giant sizzling bowl of meat, shrimp, cheese, and all the fixings landing on your table! A few of my coworkers ordered other dishes that you'll see pictured, although I didn't personally try them enough to give ratings. My coworker did mention that the shrimp tacos were good but that she's had better. Overall, this is a cool little spot to grab some Mexican food, especially if you're looking for a casual place to hang out with coworkers or friends. Service was friendly, the atmosphere was nice, and the molcajete was definitely fun to order! Would I come back? I wouldn't say no! There are still plenty of things on the menu I'd love to try. Happy Eats!
