That's a win for my support. I visited this location and found it to be clean, well stocked and staffed with a kind gentleman. He was polite and explained my options well. He put together an epic chicken salad bowl "Mike's Way" with pickles. This was a tasty and filling lunch and I would definitely come back for it. The Tuna Fish sub (Regular - $11.45 - Mike's Way) is an extremely messy, very satisfying, intentionally flavorful meal. Its freshly made tuna is chunky and dense. Its sliced tomatoes, thin onions, and lettuce are fresh. And its ingredients are enhanced as it's peppered with spices and generously doused in wet, vibrant red wine vinegar and olive oil. It's a bright, flavor explosion that uses simple, clean ingredients. Phenomenal! I arrived at Jersey Mike's Subs (Workman Ave.) on a Wednesday (around 1PM). The location is very busy, but its line moves fast. I had four customers ahead of me, but it took about two minutes for staff to take my order. I reached the cash register with my completed sub in three minutes. Fast! Jersey Mike's Subs (Workman Ave) is well-staffed. I observed three different staff members working by the counter. And several more staff members were prepping ingredients and hot sandwiches in the back. Staff spoke Spanish and English. (Quick Note: Adding cheese to the regular sub costs $2.25 more. Also, this location does not accept bills over $20). Staff is very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Staff maintained wide smiles, and I was impressed how they initiated small talk as they quickly worked. "How was your day going?" one would ask. "Have a great day!" another would chirp. Jersey Mike's Subs (Workman Ave) went above and beyond at fostering a positive, welcoming atmosphere at this location. Ambiance is very charming and cozy. I enjoyed the "beach surfer" vibe that felt present. The wall artwork brightly displayed the beach and shoreline. The pleasant rhythmic, upbeat music captured that beach music essence. Jersey Mike's Subs (Workman Ave) had about five indoor tables and two outside shaded tables with an umbrella. The location is relatively clean; however, I did notice many sub crumbs on different tables at this busy location. Overall, I had a very pleasant experience at Jersey Mike's Subs (Workman Ave). The staff is friendly and hardworking. The Tuna Sub ("Mike's Way") is filling, flavorful, and fresh. And the wetness an' spices of this particular sub creates a messy yet satisfying memory. This Jersey Mike's in West Covina is incredibly consistent, and the crew here does a fantastic job. The staff is mostly made up of students, but they handle high volume orders during prime time with impressive efficiency. I have been in several times and always notice the hard work these kids put into crafting every single sandwich. While this place is not the cheapest option for a sub, the consistency and the care they take to get your order right make it worth it. My usual go to orders are the California sub and the Turkey Provolone. However, today I decided to switch things up and try the Chicken Philly Cheesesteak. I was genuinely surprised by how good it tasted. It had the perfect balance, with not too many peppers, allowing the flavor of the chicken and cheese to really shine through. Where do I even start. Look I don't ever eat jersey mikes, couple days ago I did and decided to go. So I went and bozo with the glasses behind the counter was just trying to be buddy buddy with everyone like bro shut up and just focus on making sandwiches. ordered my sandwich and was just all over the place first of all didn't understand what the hell I was asking apparently and that put my blood pressure through the roof. Not only was my sandwich handed off multiple times to where I had to explain what I was getting on my damn sandwich. To top it off my boy got completely ignored thinking what I ordered was for both of us it wasn't and he just wasn't acknowledged and I had to say something to get them to get his order only for them to mess up that sandwich too. Another Jersey Mike's location for me today. This location has a big parking lot, next to many other food places in the area. Easy in and out. Staff was friendly, made my bowl just the way I like it, #6 roast beef, sub Swiss cheese, extra tomato and onions. Lots of oregano, pepper only and oil/vinegar on the side. Really good, but I do miss the rosemary Parmesan bread. But watching the overall sodium and the bowl is much better for me. Decor and inside is the same as all Jersey Mike's, no surprise there. Employees need to listen to what you order. I and my husband have diet restrictions so we informed how we wanted our sandwiches and the young men did not listen we had to tell them multiple times. As we all know food is getting really expensive so giving us attitude when we order is not appreciated. I am a regular at LaHabra Jersey Mikes and my sandwich tasted so different. Been along time since I've had Jersey Mike's. My kids always wanted Subway when they were growing up. And I've had it at work meetings for lunch. So it's about time we introduced them to this sandwich shop. Nice and clean dining area. Service was very good. There was like 7 employees behind the counter. Sandwiches were on point. All the meat and cheese are sliced fresh to order. My boys ordered the Philly cheesesteak sandwich and the original Italian subs. I ordered the number #7 turkey and provolone. It had a little to much mayo after I asked for light mayo but I have to say it was still finger licking good. I think the "juice" makes it a sub above for me. Good Evening I've never had Jersey Mike's before this was my first experience there. My boyfriend suggested to go there because today's my birthday I'd get a free meal. So I decided ok why not.. So I go order or food and when I go to pay I let the cashier know hey today's my birthday you know it's it true a great a free sandwich? And the response I got was so uneasy and so inappropriate to the point where I was so uncomfortable that I will never want to return to this store ever again. The cashier response was" NO YOU NEED THE APP TO RECIEVE A FREE SANDWICH... BUT I CAN GIVE YOU SOMETHING ELSE FOR FREE..." The I got I felt and the feeling I got after that comment was sooo uncomfortable. I'm super upset and so upset that I had to deal with that kind of service at your location. Ordered a number 8 on a busy Thursday afternoon and i could see the workers were quite flustered. But amongst the chaos i really appreciated Ethan's customer service. Forget those foot longs people! Come on through to wrap your hands around one of the most tasty sandwich's around. Jersey Mike's Subs has a great red wine vinegar sauce that makes the subs a cut above. Hot and cold subs are featured but they also have wraps if you are watching your carbohydrates. They have tables and booths but they are really small so I guess that is why most people get their orders to go. Cool fifty's and sixties music plays in the background while you wait for your order. And if you have little brothers and sisters they have a kids menu available. Great place for a quick bite or on the run. read more
